During the investigation of recent hollers in the Complete Monster thread, it's become apparent to the staff that an insular, unfriendly culture has evolved in the Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard threads that is causing problems.
Specific issues include:
- Overzealous hollers on tropers who come into the threads without being familiar with all the rules and traditions of the tropes. And when they are familiar with said rules and traditions, they get accused (with little evidence) of being ban evaders.
- A few tropers in the thread habitually engage in snotty, impolite mini-modding. There are also regular complaints about excessive, offtopic "socializing" posts.
- Many many thread regulars barely post/edit anywhere else, making the threads look like they are divorced from the rest of TV Tropes.
- Following that, there are often complaints about the threads and their regulars violating wiki rules, such as on indexing, crosswicking, example context and example categorization. Some folks are working on resolving the issues, but...
- Often moderator action against thread regulars leads to a lot of participants suddenly showing up in the moderation threads to protest and speak on their behalf, like a clique.
It is not a super high level problem, but it has been going on for years and we cannot ignore it any longer. There will be a thread in Wiki Talk
to discuss the problem; in the meantime there is a moratorium on further Complete Monster and Magnificent Bastard example discussion until we have gotten this sorted out.

Simply state whether or not you think the character counts or not.

Whats the work?
Missing is a 2017 thriller ya novel by kelley armstrong.
MISSING Winter Crane has exactly one thing to look forward to in Reeve’s End: leaving it. Like her best friend did. Like her sister did. Like most of the teens born in town have done. There’s nothing for them there but abandoned mines and empty futures. They’re better off taking a chance elsewhere.
The only thing Winter will miss is the forest. Her only refuge. At least it was. Until the day she found a boy–a stranger–left for dead.
But now he’s gone too. And he has Winter questioning what she once thought was true. What if nobody left Reeve’s End at all? What if they’re all missing?
Who is Kendrick (and may be Roscoe) ?
A creepy fuck even from a young age. After Kendrick's sister Ms. Eloyiss Bishop caught him being creepy with the housekeeper and found out she disappeared because he killed her.
Anyway Kendrick fathered two kids who after their mother died were taken in by His sister who planned to raise them herself waat from her psyhopath brother.
Anyway Kendrick along with murder buddy Roscoe have been holding up shop in the town. Using the cover if the kids disappearing to murder teenage girls who take their fancy by brutally tying up and then having them chased through the woods with their packs of feral dogs. Having them caught and mauled then stabbed to death.
When kendrick learns about his kids. He plans to force them into the family business. He kidnaps a girl and sends word to Lennon , his favoured one who he believes has inherited his lust for murder and is just itching to start.
He kidnaps his girlfriend and forces him to initiate him into the business by having him kill her. However things go a bit wrong when he refusees and he ended up passing a message to winter crane.
Winter and his brother jude search for him even discovering her lost sister. Kendrick and Roscoe had left her tied up and surrounded by feral dogs they'd need to fight as a gift. If he killed her then he'd be iniated and be proven to be cut from the same cloth as him if not it would prove he was a compassionate fool not worth his time. Useless.
Anyway Jude and winter eventuallyer eventually tracks him down to the mansion of Kendricks sister and judes adopted mother. He has her tied up in the basement along with lennon. Anyway Roscoe attacks them but Jude is able to best him off and has winter go to save them. Their Kendrick reveals how he murdered Lennons girlfriend when she and him tried to escape. Now he tries a different approach to corrupt his son. He reckless how winter is now with jude (The two had helped each other a bit when they were being pursued) and how his brother has taken everything from him. So he should kill her,
- “You’re weak,” Kendrick says to Lennon. “Soft. You had me fooled for a while. I thought I saw something in you. But when I actually gave you a gift, you couldn’t even consider it.”
- Kendrick raises his voice to a mocking falsetto. “Y-you want me to do wh-what?” He lowers it again. “So shocked. So horrified. As if you haven’t fantasized about it. Of course you have. You just don’t have the guts to go through with it. You’re all surface. Your brother is the one with depth. He won’t disappoint me.”
Lennon refuses though. Kendricks grabs his hair and takes his knife while probably trying to kill him for his failure as well as get back at his sister only for roscoe and Jude to burst in as they've been fighting. Roscoe fires his gun and kills ms bishop before Jude takes him down and in the confusion and winter defeats Kendricks.
''" Winter? Maybe I picked the wrong pupil. You seem to have that certain something my sons lack. Be sure to look into my eyes as you kill me. Be sure to enjoy it.”
She instead knifes him in the shoulder and hands hon over to the police. Proving him wrong.
These two were born bad.
Other mitigating factors
Kendricks and Roscoe show no care for each other beyond murder buddies. No care for sister either.
Kendricks only cares about his kids as a legacy for his murders. He mocks them as failures when they don't do it and even planned to murder Lennon when he wouldn't do it.
Heinous standard?
Yeah pass. Trying to corrupt his kids. Murdering teenage girls in such an awful way. He has around 6 victims with Roscoe and one with maid in his backstory.
Roscoe not sure on. He is involvedd in these murders as well but Kendricks seems dominant but he did gleefully help him do it and they did arrange it and plan it together. Him I'm neutral on. He did kill ms. Bishop though.
Conclusion ?
Kendricks is a keeper. Roscoe I'll let you decide

Well he got enough votes, I have to admit that after waiting over a year to propose him I'm glad Kingsley went the distance, even in spite of the disservice the second season did to him.
- Deep State: William Kingsley, the Big Bad of Season One, is the CEO of KMPH and a senior member of the conspiracy of other corrupt businessmen who are looking to create situations to recreate the fortune they made out of the Afghanistan war. Playing a key role in their plan to destabilise Mali by smuggling weapons to Al Molcar, Kingsley is also the mastermind and driving force behind the plan to start a war between American and Iran. Having infiltrated both the CIA and MI6, Kingsley used his agents to frame the Iranian’s for developing nuclear weapons, tricking MI6 operatives into assassinating multiple government scientists and targeting a drone strike on wedding to assassinate a single threat. Engineering the US sending in a covert team of scientist and soldiers into assess the truth of the claims, Kingsley has them massacred by own his men framing the Iranian National Guard. To ensure the war will occur he plans to reroute a US missile to hit straight into Tehran. A ruthless greedy man, Kingsley regularly casually disposed of his own loyal followers, to the point of killing everyone involved the Tehran conspiracy after being forced to prepone it for a few years.
