For the disambig page, it may be worth adding a mention of Two Guys and a Girl, seeing how that defines itself pretty closely to Three Amigos' original definition (two people of one gender and one of the other, talks about love triangles).

IDK, I picked up pretty much no usage that included that so it's unlikely people would be looking for it. But adding stuff to a disambig is a free action.
Does Recap pages have the same 3-wick requirement as a normal work page? I cut an entry from Healin Good Pretty Cure E 4, and now there's only 2 wicks left.
Yes. You can move the good tropes to the parent page and add to cut list as a stub.
I saw on several occasions that wootzits removed Three Amigos where it should have been moved to Two Guys and a Girl, e.g. Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Where does it say that? It calls it a type of Love Triangle.

But it is required for there to be some kind of serious conflict between the males, per the trope description. And that's not the case for Ferris and Cameron.
Anyway, I sure don't like to be made out to be a criminal just because I don't try to compensate for every trope that gets cut or disambiguated.
