Yeah, I'm not actually too sold on most of these names.

Well, at least one of the two originally suggested names (Blaming "The Man") has solid consensus behind it, so we probably won't have to go back to the drawing board if it keeps its consensus. (And honestly, it's probably better than the ones I came up with; I mainly didn't want the crowner to just have two options and nothing else, even if one of them ended up being popular regardless.)

I hope the top option is solid enough that nobody tries to argue it can sound like Straw Feminist out of context.

I think enough voters noted that the proposed name will have a custom title that changes/make clearer the trope's apparent definition.

If I'm the one who moves Sandbox.The Man to Main/, I'll change the custom title to put "The Man" in quotation marks to make the title more clear.

Blaming "The Man" is the top option at 17 yeas and 1 nay, and the only other one within consensus range is Oppressed by "The Man" at 8 yeas and 3 nays. I'd imagine the former will end up winning, but if the latter is still within consensus range, it'll become a redirect.

Of the options with a positive ratio, Blaming "The Man" still has the same vote count it did yesterday, but Oppressed by "The Man" has one more yea than it did yesterday.

The page has been moved. I just copied the on-page examples from The Man to Blaming "The Man", so they'll still need to be cleaned up in addition to the wicks.

Does that page image need to go to IP or can we just yank it?

Edit: Tried to clean up the on-page examples best I could. A lot of deletions not fitting the new definition, a few commented out, but thanks to Music I think it has enough to stand for now.

So just to clarify, the only thing left for this thread to do is to clean up the wicks for The Man, which is now a disambig page?

Yes.

This one only has 325 wicks so it won't take long to clear out. I can finish the wicks in three days (if no else pitches in)

I honestly forgot about this thread, which is why I didn't do any wick cleaning.
