Misused: You Make Me Sic

I don't think there are separate types of crowners anymore based on what I've seen from the revamped crowner system, but we could also vote on whether to make this IUEO due to the meta misuse, as I previously suggested.

I think the two crowner options when made will be

• Make You Make Me Sic in-universe examples only
• Rename You Make Me Sic

Cleanup will proceed no matter what decision is made.

So would this mean that instances of corrected grammar that are somehow Played for Drama would not count?

Do you have an example?

Bumping cuz it's been three days now.

Would someone misquoting a line in conversation, and another character surprising them by correcting the erroneous word they used, actually count for this trope even as a variant? Or should that be another trope entirely?

(I ask because I posted an example of that kind on a work page about four years ago and forgot to crosswick it at the time.)

Main.Grammar Correction Gag is now live. I took care of the Main/ wicks, so here are the rest of the wicks. The rename was noted in the Renamed Tropes thread and the relevant Renamed Tropes page, a note has been posted on the discussion page, and the trope was added to TRS Wick Cleaning.

Edit: Neglected to mention that I didn't go through the on-page examples, so those also need to be looked through.

Updated the Renamed Tropes section of the Trope Epitaph to reflect the rename of You Make Me Sic to Grammar Correction Gag.

Found an instance on the Troll 2 page that was commented out in April 2020 as part of a cleanup effort.

EDIT: Figured it should go without saying, but I guess I gotta spell it out. What should I do with this example?

EDIT 2: Aw, screw it. Commented the examples back in and renamed the trope.

x5 Oh. As for commented out examples, as part of TRS cleanup, you're free to delete ZCE. They're probably misuse, and we just want to migrate correct examples. That one just looks like misuse because the attempted correction doesn't seem inappropriate or a gag.
