The Trailing punctuation in trope custom titles thread, as well as many, many discussions over the past ten and a half years, have made it obvious that we need a centralized discussion thread for page titles. I intend for this thread to be a place to both discuss titles and request they be changed.
(If you're looking to capitalize an existing wikiword, there's a different thread for that.)
~Clancy Gardener: Custom title for Safecracker accepted, but there's collision. Do you plan to disambiguate the work pages?
Nah_Nope0 recently created VideoGame.Destruction Derby and custom-titled it as "Destruction Derby 2".
Submitted a revert request and added it to the sandbox.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.~Nethilia — "Thicker Than Water (Hazbin Hotel)" is not a valid custom title for Fanfic.Thicker Than Water Hazbin because the word "Hotel" is not present in the WikiWord. Either move the page to Fanfic.Thicker Than Water Hazbin Hotel or leave the custom title at "Thicker Than Water (Hazbin)". I set the custom title to "Thicker Than Water (Hazbin)" for now since that's how the page is currently disambiguated.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.~randomtroper89 — I adjusted your custom title requests for ComicBook.Wild Card Dresden Files and WebVideo.Wild Card Lets Play to "Wild Card (Dresden Files)" and "WILD/CARD (Let's Play)" because the text in parentheses was not there originally, and custom titles usually aren't supposed to hide disambiguation text in Wiki Words.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I'll move it again, didn't realize the whole name needed to be in there. Thank you.
I know more about obscure 1990s Middle Grade Literature novels than most people.Okay, got it. If my requests were incorrect, then adjusting them is okay.
I requested the page move, but now can't submit a new wikiword for Fanfic.Thicker Than Water Hazbin Hotel; it merely says that there isn't one. Is that a glitch?
I know more about obscure 1990s Middle Grade Literature novels than most people.Yeah, Query Bugs will need to address that.
TroperWall / WikiMagic Cleanup~Aukefi Custom title request Kaiju Number 8 Main Characters to Kaiju No. 8 - Main Characters
and
~Wilben Custom title request Wild Card Lets Play to WILD/CARD
are both declined because the custom title changes the name of the page. Please see How to Move a Page.
It looks like it resolved.
I know more about obscure 1990s Middle Grade Literature novels than most people.VideoGame.Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently "Red Dead Redemption II". Is this how it works? FYI, "Red Dead Redemption 2" is valid and what the publisher usually uses, like Steam page.
2 -> II renames the page. Now it's 2 again.
I did weird stuff with the custom title last time, and I heavily regret it, because that's now exactly the type of thing I campaign against.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Custom wiki words for your username will affect how your name is displayed on this site. Thus, your custom wiki word for Godwriter -> Godwriter Sandbox will be declined.

she/her | TRS needs your help! | Contributor of Trope ReportPlease do not use custom wiki words to excluse words in a page title. Because of that, Re View Red Letter Media -> re:View will be declined.
As a page move won't be an option due to title conflicts, I suggest trying again with Red Letter Media in parentheses to disambiguate.
I will approve ReView -> Review, however.

I plan on making a sandbox for weird custom title cases, if only to give myself an easy way to check them all at a glance.
