The Trailing punctuation in trope custom titles
thread, as well as many, many discussions over the past ten and a half years, have made it obvious that we need a centralized discussion thread for page titles. I intend for this thread to be a place to both discuss titles and request they be changed.
(If you're looking to capitalize an existing wikiword, there's a different thread for that.)

Should Main.Twenty Four Hour Armor be given a custom title? It's usually alphabetized under 2, not T, and its Commonwealth counterpart is already 24-Hour Armour.

It already had "24-Hour Armor" as custom title until recently (checked archived version), someone may have defaulted it. And seems a revert back is already pending approval.

Actually, it wasn't (I've fixed it). Probably one of the remaining victims of the custom title glitch from a few weeks ago.
(Yes, I know that the "pending approval" showed it, but that ended up glitched as well.)

~zero5889 — You're inserting new words such as "The" and "Other Characters" into the custom title for Genshin Impact titles. That counts as renaming, which is a misuse of the custom wikiword tool.

I think we can make an exception for the Traveler and add the article "The" for their and Paimon's Wiki Word.

If the "the" is to be included, the pages should be moved, not just custom titled.

The documentary series would be affected by the same custom title and then display incorrectly, while the film could be at Film.Forty Eight Hrs instead.
Situations like this are why it is against the rules for a custom wikiword to rename/rewrite page titles, suchas changing "hours" to "hrs".

There is currently no page for the TV series, and all namespaces refer exclusively to the films.
Also, since when did abbreviated words become an issue in custom titles? The page has existed since 2012 (i.e. two years before I signed up) and had no issues in the past.

To make 48 Hours "48 Hrs.", it and its subpages have to be cloned to 48 Hrs. first.

Please recut and point to the new page in the cut reason, don't just say "made new page". I have posted something similar in the discussion pages as well.
