So, it's been a trend for soft-split tropes to be split into multiple sections even when it's not needed and makes the page a hassle to navigate. In some cases, the trope in question is so large that hard-splitting some (or all) of the internal subtropes into their pages is more beneficial than letting them take over the page.

Sponge Bob Square Pants S 6 E 1 House Fancy Krabby Road has a soft split based around one infamously disgusting/painful scene. Can it be merged into the (very few) other items about the episode?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

Cover Album is split into four categories that I find very confusing. I honestly have no idea what the differences between these split categories are or where to put anything.
Early-Installment Weirdness lists every work down the line in addition to subpages. This make things way too long. How about listing only mediums? I'm suggesting to change this:

The splits there should stay, since those works and franchises are split onto their own pages for Early-Installment Weirdness due to length.
Yeah, this seems like something that needs to be taken to somewhere else.

MacGuffin.Film has a sub-split "Examples from Trope Namer Alfred Hitchcock". With there being just three examples, I don't think there's a point.

I agree that that split can be removed.
Any ideas how to best re-organize Cover Album? I want to say by genre, but I don't usually have any clue what artists belong to which genre. Or is it okay to just lump them into one big list and wait for the folks who knows the genres sort them out?

Hi, I was recommended to come here from my ATT post
regarding fan work examples on the trope page Adaptational Upbringing Change. Someone grouped most Harry Potter fanfic examples under a single bullet point as subbullets. There was a consensus that this isn't kosher, as this kind of grouping is only valid for franchises etc. My idea was to maybe introduce subheaders in the fan works folder like in this page here. Do you think this kind of soft-splitting is okay here, or not warranted because the number of fan works examples is manageable as it is?
Can Polish Media be split into Polish Directors, Polish Literature, Polish Web originals, Polish films and Polish Video Games?

While crosswicking a new page, I noticed that Shotgun Wedding is apparently sorted into categories — "Shotgun weddings with actual guns", "Marrying the girl you knocked up", "Involving both" and "Other shotgun weddings". Is this really necessary, or should I just alphabetize the page by work?

Mega agreed! However my phone isn't big enough for a de-split and a full-on mod revert might inadvertently delete the edits and additions on that page.
