The current feels very much like a parody post to me so I'm good to keep it. The suggestion wouldn't look good at wiki size and might be awkward to crop.
I think the current is from the real Florida Man twitter account
responsible for codifying the meme. And those are real stories. I could live with the suggestion.

My problem is that this is NRELP now. Despite that the description focuses pretty much solely on real-life context. Hence why I was wary about removing the examples from it; the trope seems designed around the fact that this is Truth in Television.
See, those news stories in the image are all real. If we're removing the current for the NRLEP basis, isn't this one just the exact same issue?
That suggestion is simply better than the current, policy issues aside. If we are not allowed to have real life incidents on the image, then we might not want to put up either, but otherwise the 4 > current.
OP is not great but not terrible. I worry that including both columns will make it illegible.

I like with the version that cuts the top newspaper, since, as you said, the crime committed in the top one is less ridiculous than the other two (even if it was stopped via unrealistic means).

That's a pretty massive consensus for Synch's caption; it's in and tagged, and I believe we're done here.
Today, the trope was added to No Real Life Examples, Please! due to stereotyping and for being quite common in real life. The current pic is from a Twitter account posting actual Florida news stories.
Last two panels or just the second to last panel of this would work
, but the problem is that the associated example has that bit spoiler tagged. Any other ideas? I'm fine if we feel like the current can be kept.
