The suggestion looks better, but I don’t think it does much better of a job of being illustrative than the current.
How about this one?
Read the letter Cricket!that works.

It's from an article about the currency value of the Venezuelan Bolinar.

Read the letter Cricket! This shows the money being used as printing paper and outright declares that it's cheaper than paper.
(Figured out how to show it directly. The image would have to be scaled down, though.)

I'm just.. a guy....The problem with OP, as discussed in the Image Suggestion thread, is that it's too close to the image Non-Natural Number Gag. If we can't replace the image on that page, 7 is decent.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.7 looks like an image macro, so I prefer 3.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.My issue with 3 is that it doesn't showcase the trope unambiguously, as there are multiple reasons people might be comparing two stacks (or one stack and one bill) of money. It's not bad, granted, but I don't think it's the best choice. If the appearance of the picture I suggested looks off, there are some others that can be used, such as these two.
I feel these pictures of The Zimbabwean advertisements unambiguously showcase the money being worth less than the paper it's printed on.

I'm just.. a guy....I prefer the second of those since the text clarifies the Worthless part of Worthless Currency.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.(Annoyed grunt)
Prefer the second one as well.
Read the letter Cricket!10.2 works.
The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.10.2 gets my , we could also try to link it with Ridiculous Exchange Rates (which is also uses Zimbabwean currency).
The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you?Important to note that though they both use Zimbabwean currency, each image uses it differently to illustrate the trope.
- Ridiculous Exchange Rates illustrates that you need a very, very large number to get even a small amount of goods. Unlike this trope, where I mentioned that I didn't think the image in comment 3 was the most unambiguous, that trope is reliant on exchange, which is harder to illustrate in any other way.
- The image here would illustrate the money being used as something other than currency because it simply is not useful as currency (and, in fact, the currency in the picture was replaced, so those bills would actually be Worthless Currency now.)
for 10.2

To lampshade the 100 trillion dollar note that the ZWD had at one point.

Doesn't illustrate it as being worthless.
How about the negative 12 dollar bill?
