All for one person? Mate you're going to have leftovers for a week!
That's good, right? I won't have to shop for a while.
I like to keep my audience riveted.I might make steak and brie soon.

-looks it up on Google- That does look pretty good. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted. Can be. Just be sure to spice up the rotation of going through it. The same thing eaten over and over again in a row gets real old real fast.
One of the most common dishes I make is a chicken-and-bacon stew, which I give variety by using either marinated chicken or without marinade. First I cut the bacon into small pieces and fry them with onion, before I add chicken to be fricasseed. I also vary the spices I use each time, but mostly I throw in cream and red pesto into the stew. It is a simple dish, that goes well with steamed vegetables and whatever else you want to add in.
Our New Year's menu was this:
Starter: Gratinated lobster with apple and fennel. Drink: Taittinger champagne.
Main Course: Beef done medium-rare with jalapéno croquettes, chanterelles and brown-butter mayonnaise. Drink: Teroldego red wine.
Dessert: Candied ginger and punsch ice cream. Drink: Coffee + Plantation rum (For Dad and me). Incidentally, the rum in question was from a small selection of rums that I bought for Dad as a Christmas present last year.
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming. That all sounds great. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.Do you guys have any Trademark Favorite Foods? Either to yourselves or to others?
Me, while I do have a bit of a Sweet Tooth, I've come to realize that I'll eat almost anything if there's cheese on it. I love raclette!
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.Spaghetti bolognese, with plenty of parmesan on top.
Are there any fictional foods that you'd like to recreate? A bit in the vein of Binging with Babish, I suppose.
I once tried to recreate Peach's Birthday Cake, but that attempt failed spectacularly. At least the cake part of it, I did manage to make a giant pudding. I need to practice my decorating and sugar art skills a bit more.
Another idea I had was to recreate Sweet Dream from Mario Party 5. I could to a mini version, to ensure that not as much cake goes to waste.
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.I'm trying to make cannoli for the first time today. We found some cannoli horns online for surprisingly cheap, so we decided to give it a shot.
I followed Babish's recipe, but I found myself a bit screwed when I realized that he didn't say how hot the oil was supposed to be (I know you're supposed to use lard for "genuine" cannoli, but I have no clue where to find that). 13 burnt cannoli later, I decided to look up a different recipe that actually said how hot the oil was supposed to be.
15 OK ones to 13 burnt ones. I guess I'll take that small victory.
And for some reason, there's no ricotta to be found in any grocery store in town. I'm guessing some celebrity chef used it in a recipe and everyone had to try it, or maybe it's a shortage. Anyway. I'm trying with mascarpone instead. Let's see how it goes.
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.This fun idea just popped into my mind. When I get the movie Cast Away in the mail via Netflix, I feel rather tempted to cook up a nice seafood dinner to go with it. :) But what kind? ^_^;;
I like to keep my audience riveted.Hmm, how about some kind of fish? What kinds of fish can you find in the ocean around tropical islands?
And depending on the fish, some kind of tropical salsa, maybe?
My AO3 profile. Let sleeping cats lie and be cute and calming.I just had a sublime thought. How does this sound for dessert for the last night of National Princess Week? Oreos coated with chocolate chip cookie dough.
I like to keep my audience riveted.^ Good, but I'd reverse it. Take the Oreos, crush them up and sprinkle them over the chocolate chip cookie dough and bake it together.
Both sound good.
I like to keep my audience riveted. What's your favorite thing to make or have made in the crock pot?
I like to keep my audience riveted.Pulled pork. No question.
One time I cooked a pot roast in my crock pot, and I timed it so that it would finish cooking right when Svengoolie came on.
I like to keep my audience riveted.Homemade apple sauce is as much fun to make as it is to eat.
