Hey, don't apologize for me choosing a too-specific situation to present.

Paul looks Taco dead in the eyes.

Great! What exactly is American Airlines gonna do with a bus?!

Everyone who leaves the bus walks outside to a cartoonish "WELCOME TO TOWN" sign, with another sign next to listing an astoundingly Long List of restaurants of all varieties, with distance markers next to them.

“Oh god it’s like Netflix, we have so many choices I don’t know where to go. Uh... what about a burger factory?”

"NO.”

So, burger factory's off the table, supermarket's an option but Elena isn't objecting to restaurants...

Wm takes a minute to scan the various names on the sign, then he proposes an option...

How's Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies sound to y'alls?

"Oh yeah, I've heard about that place! I once saw an ad for them that went something like 'My pies are so good, you'll just die to be one.' Wait, that can't be right. It must've been 'to eat one'." Puma laughs. "To be one, that's ridiculous."

Seeing the tourists, somebody comes up and hands them brochures. "Well howdy ho!" says Whistler, giving each person a kiss on the hand.

Elena looks at the brochure and takes her hand away before it's kissed "I appreciate the gesture but um.. No hand kissing for me"

Bluethorn comes back, having briefly gone to an ice cream stand nearby. He brings ice cream cones for everyone.

"Here you go, guys!"

"Hey, are those from the Smiley shop?" Whistler offered. "You know, that old Smiley cat—literally, you thought that was just a suit?—loved to make ice cream, but he can't taste anything sweet! When we were together in high school it really felt bad!"

"No response, eh?" Whistler said. "What brings you into town anyway?"

"Thank you!" Puma says to Bluethorn.

"Sorry," he says to Whistler. "We're just new here. We're on a rip roaring, mayhem-filled road trip around the country."

He then notices Eleanor looking at his ice cream cone.

"Do you want a taste?"

"What? No! I'm supposed to be protecting you, child. That would be gross for both of us."

Our bus died, some of us were hungry.

We got a restaurant right here in town! Best damn cheesesteak in the whole wide world!

Oh, cool. What's it called?

Gregg & Duane's. They open at five o'clock, but you gotta pay a cover charge. There's an open jam session over there if you wanna play. I remember Smiley and I used to play over there—they threw beer bottles at us when we made out onstage.

Route would walk in, popping his ribs back into place. "As long as we don't die again, I'm down." He somehow made a full recovery already.

Trust me, you ain't the strangest thing to happen to this town. Ever heard of the Curse of El Cabrón?

There was some guy who came over to find some sort of partner, but he always ended up murdering them in his sleep. And he killed them in various ways. Smothered, strangled, stabbed, sliced n' diced, drowned, defenestrated... When he was on death row he swore that he would haunt the rest of this town, coming back every 7 years to get rid of anybody who dares disturb him.

Come to think of it, it's been 77 years since that happened. Watch out.

Wm, tired and hungry, just starts walking towards where the restaurant sign says Duane & Gregg's is.

“Yeah how bad could that be? Besides, we got an orphanage to get to. Eventually.”

Taco follows Wm into Duane & Gregg’s.

Following them in, Tre goes, “It’s been a good while since I performed anything but maybe it’d be cool to do something for the open mic. A bit short notice, but I bet I could dig something up out of my bag o’ tricks...”

"I'm part of the house band," says Whistler. "If you wanna play after Whistlin' Pete & the Sneezy Bunnys, go right ahead! Play the disc jockey whatchamacallits!"
