Sorry guys. It’s like the Powers That Be force me to delay my deadlines by one day every round... at least that makes my deadlines predictable.
It was a normal day in Generic City. Not for long though. Since this is Ready, Aim, Fire!, a large fight broke out and everybody pulled out a gun. It all started when Alivia ran into the street and shot Cutbug, who also had a gun, but was aiming at Dave. Dave turned around, completely oblivious to the failed attempt on his life. The commotion, however, caused several others to take out their guns and run out onto the street. Knife, apparently trying to avenge Cutbug, killed Alivia with one well-placed shot to the head. “Have a taste of your own medicine!”
Nearby, Bluethorn and Nine-Tailed Cat tried to sneak away and let the others fight. Successfully.
Some of the few people who didn’t try to get into the action were Zanreo and Dookie. Zanreo was testing her gun, while Dookie was hiding away with her. Unfortunately, these proved to be bad ideas. Zanreo attempted to test the gun by shooting the air, but somebody had switched it out with a Backwards-Firing Gun! It shot a flurry of bullets at Zanreo and Dookie, instantly killing them.

Nnnrg! I have so much work today... But everybody’s sent in their PMs, so I need to get this round over with.
After sneaking away from the action, Bluethorn and Nine-Tailed Cat began to rest. Unfortunately, they were being followed. Nine-Tailed Cat noticed Knife appear, pointing her gun at him. Just as she pulled the trigger, Nine-Tailed Cat ducked, conveniently knocking Bluethorn over. Even more conveniently, the bullet flew towards Dave, who fired a shot that was previously aimed at Bluethorn, but instead barreled towards Knife. Dave and Knife, having killed each other instead of their targets, slumped to the ground.
Realizing that they were the last two people in the area, Nine-Tailed Cat and Bluethorn stared each other down. The next actions they took would decide who walks out of the city alive.

As Nine-Tailed Cat and Bluethorn stared each other down, the former realized that he could probably run away before Bluethorn even thought to take out his gun. Unfortunately though, he tripped. Bluethorn, knowing his enemy was down, whipped out his firearm. “Hmph. It looks like you’re about to meet your end.” And with that, he pulled the trigger... and Nine-Tailed Cat was dead.
