Just a Face and a Caption: Token Good Teammate

This is one of the weirder "problems" for an image thread to try and fix.

I'm voting keep, since there's nothing wrong with the current.

I find the suggestions less clear than the current.

Is it so difficult to put devil horns on the baddies and an angel halo for the Token Good Teammate?

As I stated, the boringness is just one of the many problems I see with the current image - with the biggest problem being the lack of anything to indicate them as a team (or even a group). I would be more than happy to vote in a "boring" image where the teammate part was more explicit. But once again, I just don't see anything other than the trope title that indicates the "evil" characters are about to do anything other than beat the non-evil up or something.

I don't know the context behind it, but 23 looks pretty good. There's a clear contrast between the angel with her happy expression, angel wings, Innocent Blue Eyes, Hair of Gold, Heart of Gold, and Blue Is Heroic outfit vs the the other two who are Red and Black and Evil All Over, decked out in skulls and devil wings, and have Red Eyes, Take Warning while smirking and glowering. Yet the fact that they are all in the same shot together, posing and looking in the same direction makes it clear that they are posing together as a group.

Ty Lee, Mei, and Azula might work as well if we could find a good image. But the one currently linked doesn't show the difference well enough.

It's from Disgea. I'm not familiar with the work, just searched for Stage 7's suggestion.

Unfortunately, it looks like 23 might be fanart?

Pretty sure 23 is not official, since the art style is completely different.

We can always ask for permission, if people like the image.

Or google up some official depictions of that team.

That's also good. I prefer the fanart, but unless we get permission for it, I'd say go with this one.

I like this one best so far. It helps that it's official.

For those wanting context, it's Flonne the angel with Laharl and Etna the demons from Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. Flonne has her own entry on the Token Good Teammate page, since she's an angel that specifically joined a pair of demons to teach them about love.

If the official one can be made transparent, I'm cool with it.

36 is definitely not as good as the fanart, but I'd still it.

The fanart is slightly better (the evil-good contrast is more apparent), but the official art is still good. So .

I'll go with

The caption could point out the Good Colors, Evil Colors on the picture.

Maybe, "An angel amongst demons"?

Im not super fond of the Disgaea art. None of the other two look evil. Or demonic.
