Welcome to HGS: Another Side Another Story. It is a roleplay spinoff for the Hunger Games Simulator forum game, akin to both the RP's in the Roleplaying section as well as the ITTs in Forum Games. It tells the story of the Hunger Games in the Arena of Panem, the nominators who sent the tributes, the tributes themselves both in and out of the Arena or even other people relevant to the Games. In addition, it also tells their stories beyond the Arena.
You can jump right in with any character, like your nominator self, your tributes, etc. The structure of this RP will be open-world. Don't worry about not being skilled/experienced enough or being new to RP'ing. Finally, ASAS accepts any skill level or RP style. Other than these, there are some important rules to note, which are:
- No godmodding will be allowed or tolerated here. The offending player will be given punishment depending on the severity.
- Please communicate anything important you plan on another player with the said player first. Don't just execute it without their consent.
- Don't be rude to other players, both out and in-universe. This extends to RP offenses like railroading, guilt-tripping, coercing, or other forms of forcing them.
- This RP is related to the Hunger Games Simulation:Beyond the Possibilities forum game. Thus it will have events based from that game, including the tributes. This means if you want to RP as tributes, please nominate them officially on the thread first, with misses not being counted. This has to be done after an incident with a player who hasn't joined the game itself yet.
- Since this RP is Loose Canon in relation to the main HGS thread, the host's interpretation of events isn't necessarily 100% canon. Every player has the right to deviate from what the host says and go with their own interpretations. If multiple players have their tributes involved in the same event(s), please communicate with each other so that you're on the same page regarding how you see them.
- This RP chronicles the lives of the nominators and their tributes behind the scenes. While dark plots are acceptable, the overall tone of the RP should be light-hearted and comedic. This RP is not a Cosmic Horror Story or action story about defeating evil. It is a Slice of Life comedy with some adventure to it, first and foremost. Our previous RP, Convergence, is not representative of the intended tone, and the grimdark tone of that RP is one of the main reasons it was retooled.
- Nominators and tributes alike can transform into Pokemon whenever they enter a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon World (but they can bypass this with certain items/methods or shapeshifting) or via other means outside it such as a season event, Transformation Trinkets, or shapeshifting. The players are free to choose the Pokéforms that best suit their characters and even give them color schemes outside the standard and Shiny colors, but there is a hard rule for this. If you want your character's Pokéform to be a Legendary, Mythical, or Ultra Beast, please ask the RP mods for approval. Outside the Arena, these Pokéforms are still OP, but we want to give leeway for tributes who theoretically can have them such as deities.

Detective Gamechanger's Base
A sharp-dressed man in a green suit and yellow tie is standing by the entrance of the base. He is of average height and has whitish skin, though still a bit darker. He is Billy, one of the nominators and the organizer of the party.
Indeed, after the nominators' returned and settled their problems, they decide to have fun with a party. Billy also sent invites for all the other nominators out there, as well as basically anyone else, including tributes, non associated parties, interested nominators who haven't participate yet, or even those who just wants to hang out.
The place itself in the base is refurbished for party purposes. Fancy chairs and tables are set everywhere for people to relax, as well as put food and other objects for the latter. There's also various collections showcased, including those belonging to the Detective, like his classic cars. Various themes to the base are set too, including detective noir as GC would have preferred.
Billy is now awaiting for other guests to arrive. He is also ready to give them a pleasant surprise during the party pertaining to his nation.

The Gems barely had time to react to Steven and Connie's brief disappearance and reappearance.
Pearl: Steven, Connie, are you alright?
Garnet: They are, but we might not be soon ourselves.
It was then that the corrupted prisoners appeared.
Garnet: Everyone stay on guard and fight but do not harm them too much, we have to free them.
Jet Room
Kirby dodged the acid cupcake swiftly, while Rouki just growled at being told not to kill the assailants.
Kirby: Whoa.
Rouki: You can fight, properly knock them out quick.
Rouki used his sword to generate a pair of energy beams from it and shot it at his foes.
Headquarters Room
Bale saw Applejack aiming for Freyja and opted to help the Blaziken, still feeling owed to helping her with danger.
Bale: Watch out!
He tried to use a nonlethal blast from his gadgets to knock out the corrupted pony. He knew she'd likely just shrug it off but it didn't hurt him to help.

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 318
On the fourth night, Miranda shared some of her memories with Black Swan, particularly of her sister. It seemed Oriana's sense of humour was to Black Swan's tastes, as just hearing a few of her jokes sent her into a fit of uncontrollable laughter.
The next day, Miranda came across a scroll of a Meteor Rain spell and decided to test it out, with Gary and Larry as her unfortunate targets. Luckily for them, the spell included conveniently-placed circles showing where the meteors would hit, allowing both wolves to avoid them easily. "Not worth it," said Miranda, throwing the scroll on the ground. "I'll stick with my omni-tool and biotics."
The fifth night was quiet and peaceful at first, putting Miranda into a false sense of security. "What could possibly go wrong?" she wondered aloud. The answer turned out to be "just about everything", as one mishap after another plagued her all night. She spent the next day smashing eggs in frustration, especially after she learned that the Illusive Man had been eaten by a cow plant in the meantime.
Stanford's Lair, Looniversity Room
Tricky peeked down into the hidden supply room, looking uncertain. "Looks like a dead end," he said.
Then Steve and Connie were warped back in, and both Sabre and Tricky winced.
"Well, looks like the other way's no better," Tricky said. He ushered Oscar and Lucian towards the supply room. "Get in! We'll protect you!"
Meanwhile, Sabre stepped forward to confront Flash Magnus. "So, a knightly duel, then? En garde." With that, he raised his sword to meet the pegasus's shield.
Stanford's Lair, Tribute Quarters
Kaidan fired off a few last shots at where the sand tatzlwurm was, but then was caught off-guard by the oncoming ponies. He quickly used a biotic throw to try to separate Rainbow Dash from Lapis, hopefully in time to ensure Onox's attack didn't cause friendly fire.
"Careful!" he shouted. "We don't want anyone getting killed on either side!" He put away his pistol for the moment and instead powered up his omni-tool, taking a moment to size up his attackers and the potential viability of tech attacks.
Stanford's Lair, Jet Room
As soon as the others teleported in, Shepard fired, aiming a concussive round right at Discord's face. The Commander then took cover behind one of the seats while readying another shot. "I'll stick with my own Joker, thanks," Shepard said. "He's better at flying and quips."
The cat rooke turned away from the console for a moment and raised her Wispon, firing off a void shot to try to counter the oncoming assault. She aimed for the biggest cluster of crows and cupcakes, trying to divert them to the side.
In the opening this created, Shepard peeked out from cover to fire a couple disruptor shots, this time aimed at Les's barrier to help weaken it down - it was that or risk seriously injuring the others. After that, the Commander ducked down again and braced for a counterattack.
I like cute things. You gotta deal with it.
Braids From S286 Not Included
The Arena
After casting Episkey on himself to heal his wounds a little, Goyle sleeps in the ditch. While he's sleeping, Toadette overhears him mumble that he "knows everything" and asks him what a polynomial is.
"It's when there's no toy in your Happy Meal," he mumbles again.
Meanwhile, WALL-E teams up with Miranda Lawson, Omi, and Heisuke to make and playtest an adult board game for the whole family, but the robot scratches his binocular head at the concept.
The next day, he finds an old, top secret document by BNL and discreetly opens it. He briefly shorts out upon discovering the truth about his design... he's deliberately programmed with a flawed security system because he was meant to be "just" a trash-collecting drone. He covers his lenses and crushes the doc underneath his treads, fearing what else fem!Chameleon might do to him.
Meanwhile, Goyle finds a book and tries looking for the word "spaghetti" in it, but suddenly, Yarn Yoshi's head pops out of it and asks if it's the bagel. Goyle tosses away the book, making it land on Yoshi's head, and leaves.
As night falls, WALL-E finds an explosive and then sees Goyle fuming in the distance. He has a bad feeling about him, so quickly tosses the bomb over to Miranda and tells her to blast him with it... or DIE, he adds with a glitchy tone of voice.
But Miranda refuses to do so. WALL-E's lenses then flash red, but he glitches up again and shakes his head.
I'm SOR-ry... he pleads to her, I have PROB-lem with PROG-ram...
He then attends the Feast the next day but gets startled at the Noise's half-flea appearance, which he got from being bitten by a radioactive flea a few days ago. WALL-E reflexively grabs a can of pesticide and sprays it all over Noise, but Hyness swoops in and saves him. WALL-E then slowly treads away before either of them can get their revenge on him.
Meanwhile, Goyle eats some clams without checking their expiry date, and he double over in pain. He wishes that Madam Pomfrey were here to give him one of her curative potions. Later on, he finds a strange Muggle box with an antenna and an ordinary math problem taped to it. He tries solving it, but gives up because it's not an Arithmancy problem and he can't concentrate on an upset stomach.
Elsewhere, WALL-E stumbles upon the Gold Star and wishes upon it, which grants him an attack and defense boost. He sees his framework being repaired, but not entirely, and he hopes that he'll be able to survive from here on out.
Underground Bunker
Bezier whinnies like a little filly as Ichi pets him.
"How did you know this is my favorite petting spot?"
"Well, it's my favorite, too!" says Power, smiling adorably at him. "But anyway Bez, open my present! I hope you like it!"
He pulls out the ribbon and unwraps the gift, a pink-and-yellow bowtie. He then takes out his necktie to wear his new gift.

"Oh Solaris, it looks so fancy! I feel like one of the upper-class ponies from Canterlot!"
"And it's not just any ordinary bowtie, Bez!" says Power. "Check what's written on it!"
He takes a look at the instructions on the inner part of the band: Graze bullets to charge magic with this.
"What's that mean?"
"It boosts your art magic whenever projectiles fly near you!"
He tenses up a bit. "Near me?! What if they end up hitting me?!"
"Then you should practice it sometime after this crisis is over! There's a dojo in Castle Town where you can learn how to verrrry closely dodge bullets to activate that Tension Bow!"
"Whoa... that looks challenging, but I'll see about that!"

The Arena, Season 318
After recovering from her bad luck and the loss of her employer, Miranda was invited to join Omi, WALL-E, and Heisuke in developing a family-friendly adult-themed board game. She agreed, offering her own experience of adulthood to help with rules and concepts, contributing to the playtesting, and giving a few marketing suggestions.
On the seventh day, Miranda decided to finish what she'd started earlier and tracked down Gary and Larry, intending to kill the wolves for real this time. Though they tried to tell her that she wasn't so different from them, she ignored them. "We'll never be alike," Miranda retorted before tearing Gary apart with a biotic warp and electrocuting Larry with a blast from her omni-tool.
That night, WALL-E gave Miranda a detonator linked to Goyle and insisted that she blow him up or else. However, killing a fellow human under an AI's orders didn't sit right with her, so she simply threw the detonator aside. "Kill me if you must," she said, "but I won't betray humanity." Ultimately, WALL-E couldn't go through with it and let both her and Goyle go.
The eighth day was the Feast, and Miranda decided to shore up her intellect by eating brain food, gaining super knowledge-absorbing powers. Not long later, Heisuke offered Miranda one of his spare guns while claiming it was a "friendship blaster", but between her enhanced intellect and existing familiarity with firearms, she didn't buy it. "Looks like a perfectly normal and lethal rifle to me," she remarked.

"Okay, yeah, I guess Ollie fits the goofy sidekick role, but being a princess doesn't mean I spontaneously sing about everything, 'kay?"

"...The bracers." Tokage muttered.
"What, the bracers??" Alex asked.
"They're clearly different from the ones we've dealt with before. They don't look as sturdy." Tokage informed the others.
"Hold on. You think we might be able to remove them ourselves?"
"Only one way to know..." Tokage said.
"A-Aaron...!" Lucian insisted.
"Just go!! We'll be fine, don't worry about us!" Aaron said, putting himself between the Equestrians and his brothers. Still shaking, Lucian followed Oscar inside the trapdoor Tricky had discovered before Aaron closed it.
Once inside the supply room, Lucian started to sob as he hugged tight Oscar, still incredibly scared about the whole ordeal.

The Fourth-Placers' Revenge
The Arena, Season 318
On the eighth night, Miranda met up with the Chameleon (specifically this Chameleon, not the other Chameleon) to commiserate about missing their homes.
"I'm glad to be away from my father, but..." Miranda's eyes welled up with tears. "The Normandy was my real home. The first place where I felt I belonged. I wish I could go back."
The Chameleon replied that she should keep going so she could see it again sooner. She nodded and prepared herself to face the remaining competitors.
The next day, Miranda faced off against LLENN... in a thumb-wrestling contest. Though it was an intense match, in the end Miranda's genetic enhancements won out and she pinned the Pink Devil's thumb down. Then, seeing as Cerberus was defunct with the death of the Illusive Man, she looked for another organisation to join, and found herself serving in the other Chameleon's criminal gang alongside Goyle and a Frogadier.
The tenth day proved to be Miranda's last, as Heisuke managed to get the drop on her, landing a shot through her shields. While she was incapacitated by her injury, Heisuke proceeded to brutally distend her entire body into an H shape, breaking all of her bones in the process. Needless to say, the Cerberus cheerleader was finished, with the only consolation being that her killer drank so much to celebrate his victory that he fell off a ship to his death.
NTC's Lab
Nine-Tailed Cat looked over the season results and chuckled. "I guess Miranda kept some of her original plot armour," he said. "All the way to the endgame before being taken out. Impressive."
"And a victory by an evil wizard, too," said Nought, grinning. "All in all, a most satisfying ending."
A moment later, Cassandra Beech came in, her fur damp and with a noticeable scent of the ocean. "Got the next tributes for you, boss!" she said, putting down a large sample case.
Nine-Tailed Cat inspected the samples, then twitched his ears. "Ah... Miss Beech, my request was for the monster hunters, not the monsters themselves."
"I got them too!" said Cassandra, wagging her tail. "But when I saw these majestic and misunderstood creatures in action, I just had to show everyone else!" She looked up pleadingly. "Come on, boss, we have to send them in!"
"I don't know. They're not..." Nine-Tailed Cat began, but the fennec's hopeful smile was just too much for him. He sighed. "All right, I guess it wouldn't be too much harm to give them a go."
"Sweet!" Cassandra said, perking up even more. "Thanks, boss! I'd hug you, but I'm still drying off!"
With that, she loaded up a pair of cloning chambers and set them to work, producing a pair of sea creatures: One massive, red, and with a look of cunning; the other small, blue, and a puppy-like expression.
Nought looked on approvingly. "Formidable," she said. "And both are more than meets the eye. I look forward to seeing what surprises they have in store for the other tributes."
"Yep!" said Cassandra. "Just need to get them there first!" She took out her comm unit. "Violet Squad, gonna want some help on these tributes! We need a BIG tank of water!"

Braids From S286 Not Included
The Arena
That night, WALL-E is searching for a safe place again when LLENN calls him a "beautiful, beautiful butterfly". He adjusts his eyes in confusion, while Goyle repeats to himself that he "lives in a society" as he recovers from his stomachache.
The next day, WALL-E sees Goyle again and keeps his distance from him. The robot then finds some paper and crayons and draws the Slytherin in a butler suit. But as he goes back to his camp to put his drawing on display that night, the Coca-Cola Polar Bear suddenly ambushes him and mauls him to pieces for not drinking enough coke.
Meanwhile, Goyle sees Miranda, fem!Chameleon, and a Frogadier start their own criminal gang and joins them, thinking that they'll become the new Death Eaters. Unaware that Miranda was forced by WALL-E to blast him but ultimately refused to do so, Goyle eyes on the giant Frogadier (since it was previously zapped with a growth ray) and thinks of something sinister to do to it...
And sinister he does the following day. Goyle sees it and LLENN firing beams at each other, struggling to push them towards the other. Goyle smirks to himself and shouts "AVADA KEDAVRA!" frying both of them with his magic. He then walks away from their corpses and laughs at Heisuke drunkenly falling off his ship and drowning in a lake (since the ocean was murdered by Yarn Yoshi several days ago).
Head Gamemaker Stella then comes down from the Control Room and raises Goyle's fist in the air to declare him the champion. She's less than enthusiastic about a villain like him winning during this crisis, but deep down, she knows that he's just a data clone and the real Goyle is likely unaware of what he did this season, if he's still alive after the 2nd Wizarding War.
"Good luck in the Battle Royale," she tells him, "but are you aware that non-Podium Finishers are now also allowed to participate?"
"No... why?"
"We recently changed the rules because the audience felt that the old format was too restrictive."
Goyle grumbles and leaves. "No fair! I'm going home now!"
Stella sighs. "Whether you like that or not, 6001 will still nominate you for that season. It's coming very soon, so better prepare for it!"
"Fine..."
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
"Indeed," 6k1 tells PV.
She then finishes the season and cheers for Goyle.
"Congrats," says Juan, clapping. "Considering that there will be one more season before the BR, it's great that you got a champ at almost the last moment!"
"Yeah..." says the female DM. "I was getting ready to deliberately sit out if I don't get a PF this coming season!"
"But why?"
Before we discuss that, says Ally, who are you going to nominate, 6001?
She promptly looks at Stacy, who just transformed into a Scorbunny.
"Send in Peter and Max. Since April Fool's is just the EP day after, these funny bunnies will do!"
OK. Please give me a moment to send them the letters offering them the VR system.
While Ally takes her leave, Mimi climbs down from 6k1's lap and nuzzles Stacy, and Dupe follows suit.
"Say, 6k1... is CAC also like this in that form?" asks Juan.
"Maybe? But he used to hate being called cute as one."
The male DM raises an eyebrow. "What's wrong with that? There are manly men out there who are unashamed of liking cute things!"
"Yeah, like Ichi! It's no wonder he loves Power so much! I'm sure he's also enjoying Bezier's company now!"
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

Cafe Sweetrhythm
In the cafe that is located somewhere quite far from the arena, a... young man with short black hair, and brown eye irises, seems fairly attractive enough (no, not in that manly style, more like the Pretty Boy style, though only the easily fooled or naive eyes would mistake him for a girl), is sitting on the owner's table.
To the sideways of his seat is a computer that he uses for various tools such as cashier programs and registrations. Having only recently "repurposed" this building into a cafe, he just muttered, "Ah, the hardships of just maintaining a new responsibility."
Sometime later, he texted two of his earlier-registered clients.
"Hello. I think the Arena's results are doing surprisingly well. So, I would be looking forward to watching the Battle Royale, but I can't afford much time to stay out of the cafe and keep it closed, unfortunately. However, I have a long-range photography drone that could do in my stead. Good luck for the Battle Royale when it comes to the day.

"Nor is there anything wrong with girly girls liking manly things!" says Juan.
"But anyway," 6k1 tells PV, "Rana and Mari saw Haban-Arrow briefly teleport out of here at the start of S306. I asked him what happened to him, but he didn't really answer me." She shrugs.
"Wait a minute, wasn't that the season I nominated Doggo and Dogo?" asks Juan. "Because I only caught the second half of it since Bezier and I were on our way here when the season was ongoing."
Just then, Ally returns to tell 6k1 that neither of her bunnies will use VR because they're too young and innocent.
"Understandable," says the female DM.
However, I have detected the presence of two vulpines in the Arena. I am aware that Zhen is amicable towards lagomorphs, but hopefully, your tributes and their kin will be safe.
"Yeah, I hope so..."
Underground Bunker
"Wish I were wearing my yellow bowtie right now," says Star. "I'd like to compare it with yours!"
"No way, mine is fancier!" Bezier says jokingly. "But speaking of Doctors... can Power and I do our own take on that 'please subscribe to our channel' meme you told us earlier, Ich?"
"I was thinking the same thing!" says his female counterpart. "We'll go back into costume, and you video us and send it to 6k1, alright?"
Dark Stanford's Lair
Looniversity Classroom
Flash Magnus immediately blocks Alex's Flamethrower and August's Night Daze with Netitus, protecting him and Spike from them. The pegasus guard's shield doesn't get any dents or scratches, but it does get slightly scorched. He then moves it quickly to block Sabre's sword and try pushing him towards the wall to crush him, just like what Raven Beak did to him back in Canterlot.
Meanwhile, Spike takes this distraction to run towards the trapdoor, but Bismuth blocks the way and holds out her arm shield.
"Nuh uh! This place is off-limits for you!"
But Spike flies over her and prepares to tear the trapdoor apart when he lands on it.
As for Steven and Connie, they join June and Aaron in blocking Twilight from approaching CAC, but she ignores Aaron's pleas and fires some medium-sized magic blasts at them. Steven promptly puts up his shield for Connie, but while they still get pushed away from the group, they manage to remain standing.
"It's no use... what should we do now?"
In one corner of the room, Mini-Cord 1 smirks to himself and snaps his fingers to spawn some various weapons, physical and elemental. He figures that his "allies" might need them "just in case", but he doesn't bother to directly give them to them and just scatters them around. Anyone can pick them up, and if Kirby is lucky, it might grant him a Copy Ability.
Teleporter Room
"I know, I wasn't gonna kill 'em, duh!" Amethyst snarks at Arthur before trying to lasso Fluttershy, but Discord teleports her out of the way and carries her in one of his arms.
"HEY, NO FAIR!" she yells at him.
"But she's my dear sweet Flutters!" he retorts as he continues stepping backwards. "Don't you DARE take her away from me! And you..." He then points at Shepard, "I'll see about meeting your 'Joker' later, but first..."
Anyone with keen eyes might see his free hand visibly shaking from how long the bracer's been influencing him, but he ignores that. He then snaps his fingers to destroy the ceiling, revealing a thunderstorm high up. Thanks to him, the upper floor somehow isn't affected while everyone is still firmly rooted to the floor — they don't get sucked out by the rapid pressure change, but those who can fly or float now have more space to move around.
Discord also carefully covers Fluttershy's bracer while she uses the Stare on Amethyst. The purple Gem just guffaws.
"Hahaha! Nice try, but that ain't gonna work on m—"
But she suddenly turns away and walks around dizzily. She tries lassoing Fluttershy again, but this time, she might end up wrangling in one of her teammates instead.
"Watch out!" warns Garnet as she sidesteps out of Amethyst's way. She then looks up at the sky and raises her hand to catch a lightning bolt to throw at Les's barrier.
Meanwhile, Pearl shoots some small fireballs from her spear at the cupcakes and crows, and with Henry, Tenn, and the Cat Rookie's efforts, they explode into mini-fireworks. She then summons a Holo-Pearl to go after Pinkie before continuing to try repairing the telepad.
"We'll be able to call in reinforcements if we can get this working!" she tells the Cat Rookie.
The Holo-Pearl then goes for a back strike on Pinkie while Greta cannonballs into the Party Cannon just before she can continue firing. Pinkie yelps as she runs away in pain while her Party Cannon comically inflates to Greta's size before pointing upwards and shaking violently. The team doesn't have much time to destroy it before it shoots her into the air.
Corrupted Quarters
As the heroes and prisoners spill themselves back into the room, Rarity jumps over Veena when the latter swings her tail at her, but she gets hit by Scipion's Dark Pulse. She gets knocked over backwards and flinches when she tries to get up, but her bracer has started to become loose.
Meanwhile, Lapis rolls to the side and shields herself with her wings when Onox zaps Rainbow Dash with Thunder. She screams as she feels her bracer coming loose, but it's not enough to remove it just yet. Kaidan then throws her out of the way, and she tumbles near Rarity. Rainbow Dash struggles to get up as she feels the paralysis taking over her partially charred body, but she tries rushing headfirst towards Kaidan to knock away his omni-tool.
As for Applejack, she gets sent flying into a pile of rocks by Freyja and Bale. Her bracer loosens a bit and also gets abraded, but as a hardy earth pony, she quickly gets up and kicks some large stones back at them.
Mini-Cord 2 then briefly peeks his head out of Rarity's mane and tries rubbing her temple to get her to focus. She's still dazed from the Dark Pulse, so he snaps his fingers to summon various gemstones around her for when she snaps out of it. Should anyone on the team pick them up, they would feel them emanate the four classical elements: fire gems spew fire, water gems spray water, earth gems kick up standstreams, and air gems blow gusts of wind.
Hallways
The Perizoid enters the lair and walks past where the heroes fought the mutants. As it brisk walks down the hallways, it uses its scanner to detect where their latest enemies are and which one to attack first.

Dark Stanford's lair
"Aw crap..." Alex grunted when his Flamethrower had no effect.
"We can't attack that pegasus blindly, that shield looks strong... We need to find an opening." Tokage suggested.
Aaron dodged Twilight's beam and was about to attack Flash to help Sabre when he noticed Spike getting past Bismuth to reach the trapdoor.
"No...!" he gasped, his eyes widening in horror. Almost on instinct, he rushed toward Spike with Extreme Speed, then used Force Palm to try to get him away.
"Don't you DARE go near my brothers!!!" he furiously roared.
Under the trapdoor, Lucian was still sobbing, and he even hugged Oscar tighter when he heard Spike trying to break in.
"I-I wanna go home..." he cried.
Arthur looked as Discord got Fluttershy away from Amethyst.
"Even brainwashed, Dark Stanford could not remove completely his personality. I hate to do this, but we have to take Fluttershy down first if we want to stand a chance against Discord."
"But do you not fear he might go... berserk on us?" James pointed out.
Arthur didn't have time to answer as Discord broke the ceiling. Everyone got surprised by it, but the Decidueye immediately used the open space to his advantage.
"A lightning storm?? Be careful you two!!" Nick shouted to his two comrades, knowing their weakness to electricity.
"We are tryiiiiiing!!" James exclaimed, rolling away from a lightning bolt at the last moment.
Arthur was about to fire at Discord again when Fluttershy managed to use her Stare on Amethyst, causing her to lasso him instead.
"GAH!!!" the Decidueye shouted, ensnarled by the lasso and dropping on the floor. Unable to fly or to get up, he was open for an attack or a lightning bolt.
"ARTHUR!!!" Nick shouted in horror.
"Oh no... Change of plans!!! Nick, go help Arthur, I must help miss Greta!!" James said, firing an Ice Beam at the cannon. Nick nodded and ran toward Arthur as fast as he could to help him before he could get struck.
"Go cry me a river somewhere else!! I know!!" Scipion barked back at Kaidan, annoyed.
He was about to knock out Rarity when he noticed four gems appearing around her.
"What in the Distortion... HEY!! What the fuck do you think you're doing???" Scipion then shouted, enraged as he saw the Mini-Cord 2. Ignoring the gems, Scipion tried to get him off Rarity by striking her with Knock Off.
Meanwhile, Onox wasn't fast enough to prevent Rainbow Dash from evading him to go after Kaidan, but the brute followed suit. The Toxtricity roared as he leaped in the air and tried to land on Rainbow Dash like a catcher would to restrain her, whether she succeeded or failed her attack.
Of course, Freyja being Freyja, she didn't even mutter a single "thanks" to Bale as he helped get Applejack away from her, but the cold-hearted Blaziken still nodded in respect at him.
"Twilight's friend is tough, I give her that. All the more reason to end that shit quickly, kid. Go get her, I'll cover you." she said to him, cracking her knuckles before running headfirst toward Applejack and in front of Bale, acting as a shield to him, deflecting as many rocks as she could with powerful kicks and punches to allow Bale to get close to the earth pony.

Kirby inhales one of the weapons on the ground, which happens to be... a revolver. Kirby then becomes Ranger Kirby. He then takes aim at Twilight, before firing. Dedede meanwhile sees Spike going after the trapdoor. He readies his hammer and charges, attempting to hit Spike.
The Voidlands
Shadow Kirby woke up from his bed after a long time's sleep, with Anna awakening right after.
"Kirby, wanna go on a quest? We could look for food supplies! And ooh! Fight real monsters!" asked Anna.
"You know? We could use some food supplies soon. Let's go, poyo!" said Shadow Kirby.

(Cricket jumps and quickly puts the pack of markers he was carrying behind his back.) OH! Uh, heh heh, nothin'! Just...was gonna do a little colorin'.
But Verdi no see any paper in here, onba. (Verdi says.)
Uh...yeah, I was sorta thinkin'... (Cricket looks toward the dormant Pokémon.)
EEEE!! Bidoof boy want to color on other Pokémon?? (Verdi screeches.)
(Cricket confusedly repeats:) "Bidoof boy"...?
Verdi not think they like that, onba! What if they get mad? (Verdi says, cowering.)

(Everyone's combined efforts manage to weaken Reba and Les's shields considerably, though they're still there. However, the now-exposed thunderstorm outside is giving Reba more ammunition. Luckily, it gives Wanda opportunity to use her own lightning abilities.)
(Wanda is concerned that Sidon might get hurt with the increased lightning, though. Slipping into character as Swimming Fish, Wanda shouts at him.) Sidon! Should I let you borrow my Power Suit?
Sorry to decline your offer, sir, but I’ve been in more dangerous situations! (Sidon says, being sure to address Wanda like she is Swimming Fish and always has been.)
(He jabs at Reba with Fleeting Leaf’s spear again, and this time it penetrates through the shield and pokes her in the belly.)
YEOW!! Honey!! (Reba shouts at Les.)
They’re overwhelming me! (Les calls back, his voice sounding like a mix of his own voice and Reba’s as he tries to retreat to give himself time to strengthen the barriers back up.)
(In the meantime, Reba looks around, and it quickly becomes clear that she’s trying to find Wanda.) Wanda dear, where are you?? (She calls in that overly-sweet tone that Wanda quickly came to hate growing up.) Your two friends are here, so I know you must be as well!
(Lightning starts crackling from Reba’s claws and she attempts to fire them at everyone close to her. Luckily, Cleo manages to psychokinetically grab Sidon and pull him away from the lightning.)
Thank you, Chief Cleo! (Sidon says.)
Of course. (The increased room allows Cleo to levitate herself off the ground slightly. She detaches one of the plane seats and fires it off toward Les.)
(Wanda dodges out of the way of the lightning and tries to think of her next move, especially since she isn’t sure she will wants to reveal herself just yet.)
(Stuck in the party cannon and unable to unroll, Greta gets worried.)
I could use some help here, everyone! (Greta’s voice comes from the boulder form she is still in.) I don’t know where I’m going to go if this goes off!!
Hen, I’ll get Arthur loose, go help James save Greta! (Tenn says, zipping over to Arthur to try to snip him loose.)
Astute plan, Tenn! I am on it! (Henry says. He contributes a Dragon Pulse toward the party cannon.)
(Ever the brony, Miss Ball is visibly distressed at having to throw her beach balls at the Mane 6 members present.)
Stay strong, dreamer, we may yet be able to save them! (Zuma calls to her as he tries to slow Fluttershy down with another Rainbeam.)
Doesn’t not mean it doesn’t still kill me to hafta to do this! (Ball says.)
(Zuma looks toward the telepad.) Cover for them! I’ll make sure you don’t have to lay another hand or ball on them.
Thanks… (Ball moves to protect everyone trying to repair the telepad.)

(Veena tries to think of ways to help the others and what venoms she could use when she sees the gemstones that Discord summoned.)
(Suspecting that they’re meant to aid the brainwashed individuals, she gets the idea to try take one so that they can’t use it. She slithers ahead and snatches away the closest one to her position, the water gem.)
(Almost immediately, Veena feels her body transforming and emits a startled scream. Afterward, Veena, the gem sitting on her hat, appears to now be completely made of water.)
What happened to me?! (She exclaims, sloshing water everywhere as she looks at herself in a panic.)
Outside the Lair
(Knox finally gets Dark Stanford’s Lair within his sight and looks ahead. He can’t help feeling worried about what position he’ll find the others in…especially the 'Brijes since he already knows what happened to Colby, Sticky, and Joaquin, and he hopes nobody else has been forced into that state either.)
Yall'd better still be alive… (Knox grumbles as he heads on.)

The Arena
Bloodbath and Day 1
As soon as the horn sounds, Peter and Max are summoned by the Cadbury egg to listen to Coin's speech, but they only pay attention for one second before instinctively hopping away from Beelzebub and Zhen. Unlike Sinclair, they hopped around for quick exercise before they entered the Arena, and they manage to get away from the carnage.
Later that day, Max decides to take a nap, but he wakes up screaming from "seeing" Allen flush Sukuna's coffin into his grave.
"TOILET?!"
Meanwhile, Peter suddenly encounters a Hair-Raising Hare who looks like a grown-up version him, who tries pouncing on him with a pogo stick. Peter hops out of the way of his evil alternate future self, and then manages to kick him and his pogo stick into a bottomless pit before getting away.
Night 1
That night, Peter feels several long tails growing from his bottom and cries in pain as he transforms into a rabbit-kitsune hybrid.
◊ He wonders if that "evil Peter" cursed him with this, but he soon realizes that he partially became his natural predator and freaks out.
Meanwhile, Max sees the Mad Hatter conjure up teapots, teacups, and teapot-cups for his tea party. The little bunny hides under the table and quickly yanks off the tablecloth, making the tea spill all over and the pots and cups and plates clatter and crack.
"Rain!" he says cheekily.
But the Mad Hatter fishes him out from under the table and beats him up for ruining his tea party, but instead of crying, Max laughs at how much he riled him up, much like his sister Ruby. The little bunny then gets away with some bruises and chases some grass putt-putting to a pizza place in a tiny car.
Day 2
The next day, Peter rants about his new form to the Flame Sword Princess. He tries to say, "Frick this fricking fox form!" but instead, he ends up saying, "Fig this fox grape from!" He quickly puts his paws on his mouth, wondering what he just said.
Meanwhile, Max joins the grass in a putt-putt race along with Carl, Larry, and Skipper Dan.
"Beep beep!" the little bunny says as he honks his ride-on toy car's horn.
Everyone then goes off, but Max places 4th at the end. He sees Carl happy with placing 2nd and cries.
"Looooooose!"
Night 2
Before Peter turns in for the night, he writes in his diary how bad he's having it as a half-fox creature. He then shuts his eyes and drifts off to sleep, unaware of Allen stealing his diary and reading it.
Meanwhile, Max is literally hopping mad at losing that race when he finds a Pokemon Egg. He imagines it ordering him to overload the core of a magic device, and he goes off to look for one. He gasps at actually finding one powering the tent that Cole and Larry are sleeping in, and he pushes the device's lever to the max.
"LIGHTNING!" he shouts evilly as he watches his competitors being electrocuted along with Boyd and Tree Trunks, who were also sleeping in the same tent. He then hops away from their charred remains, glad that Ruby isn't here to discipline him.
Day 3
The next day, Max finds Mr. Tick-Tock reading something and wonders what it is. He can't understand the words written on it, so instead, he grabs some dirt in his paws and rubs it all over it.
"DIRTY!" he yells at Mr. Tick-Tock as he then grabs a nearby gun and pulls the trigger, making him "topple" over with a bullet. Max doesn't realize that he just shot him with a real gun, but he's glad that he doesn't have to read that "dirty" paper anymore.
Meanwhile, Peter scampers away from Jeff because he fears his "unequal" power. He then finds a computer with a basketball video game installed and paws at it in curiosity. He has no idea what he's doing, but he somehow manages to download an aimbot to help him score perfect shots.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
6k1 and Juan watch the season, and the former pulls her head back at what Max just did.
"Still surprised?" asks the latter. "I'm sure there were sweet kids who suddenly turned murderous back in my Hunger Games."
"I know... he's not the first rabbit I ever nominated to snap like this... and I'm glad I didn't nominate Ruby with him..."
She then notices Alina being expelled from school... not because she tried to crack a Yoshi Egg open in class, but because the school did not resemble a nom school at all.
What happened to them? 6k1 thinks. Did this crisis have something to do with them? And how's Paper Stroke and her staff? Been a long time since I last heard from them...
She thinks of calling her with her crystal ball, but puts that aside for now.
"Anyway PV, I could've sworn Haban-Arrow didn't leave this place since I first arrived here."
"You don't think he took the up-slide without us noticing, do you?" asks Juan.
If he did, then the guards outside would have caught him IMMEDIATELY, says Ally.
"Then how else could he have slipped away...?"
Underground Bunker
Power and Bezier briefly go ahead to the bathrooms to change back to their Doctor costumes, the latter wearing his new bowtie with his outfit.

"You're right Ich, it does look cool with this!" he says.
"Ready to video us?" asks Power as she and Bezier get into position.
The rest of Power's family gather around to watch them.
"Anyone got some popcorn?" asks Moon enthusiastically.
"This is only gonna be a few seconds long," says Star. "You're better off eating from a tiny bucket!"
"Hey!"
The Arena
That night, a dancing cow moos at Goyle, as if to tell him that it's learned something new tonight. He doesn't understand it at all and punches it out of the way, saying, "Goyle, BBC look north." Where he even heard of this Muggle news network is anyone's guess.
Meanwhile, WALL-E gets ambushed again, this time by Skullolady. She pins him to the ground and tries pummeling him to death, but he manages to escape her grasp with more dents on his body and battered binocular eyes.
The next day, he attends a meeting with Wolfrun and the Noise, but he cowers upon seeing fem!Chameleon show up. But instead of tormenting or hacking WALL-E again, she challenges him and the others to a dance-off. WALL-E tries swiveling around, but his joints creak from the injuries he got over time.
Meanwhile, Goyle is tasked to perform a kidney transplant on Steve. He glowers at the thought of saving someone's life, so he performs dark magic on Yarn Yoshi to teleport one of his woolen kidneys out of his body. Goyle then sews it into Steve's abdomen and watches him die from it.
Night falls again, and WALL-E is looking for a repair shop when male!Chameleon invites him to the latter's favorite restaurant. The robot squeaks and turns the other way upon seeing the reptile's "ugly" face again.
Meanwhile, Goyle finds a helicopter and tries piloting it, wondering if this is how Muggles fly. He struggles with it but manages to get it several feet above ground, and as he flies around the Arena, he does a double take at a giant watermelon slice falling to the ground. He wonders if someone cast Engorgio on it.
The following day, WALL-E cautiously approaches Gill-man, who tried killing him at a Walmart a few nights back, and tells him, You rea-SON this HAP-pen-NING?
Meanwhile, Goyle's chopper falls into a ditch, but luckily he casts a Cushioning Charm just before it crashes. He still gets badly wounded, but at least he didn't die from the fall. He then sees Heisuke stumble into the ditch but doesn't bother with getting him out of it, or himself for that matter.
The Science Center, Safety Shelter
"Speaking of missed opportunities for certain tributes to interact," says 6k1, "at least it's better than betrayal."
Juan shudders, remembering what happened to the Dreemurrs in that infamous season. "Yeah, you tell me..."
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"
