"I don't think so."

Luke puts his phone in his coat pocket before kneeling down to the mole's level. "Looks like you're still mostly intact. What's your name, bud?"

"I'm Bucky," the robot mole answers. "I've been staying here with Glass and the others for a while. Looks like there are some new faces?" he adds, noticing the newcomers.

Luke stands back up. "You don't happen to have a USB drive on you? I probably moved a lot of info about what happened... let's see, a few months of my memory are on an external drive. I still know about my so-called "powers", so there's that."

"Ah... sorry, pal, but I don't know where that drive could be," says Bucky. "So you've lost part of your memory, huh...?"

"Three months of memory, ending now, are missing. Like I said, I remember my name and cyborg status... and I might as well tell you about my useless power... I turn into a completely normal otter when I touch natural water. The cyborg stuff is cooler, though."

The Log Cabin

It's a bit too early for breakfast, so do any of you want something to drink to warm yourselves up as it's early morning? I was in the midst of looking for where we put the hot chocolate when you arrived.

Glass smiles upon seeing his robot buddy.

"I'm glad to see you up, Bucky."

"You too, pal!" says Bucky, waving to Glass with one of his robotic hands. "I'm glad you weren't hurt. The cabin looks pretty badly damaged, though..."

"Yeah... I'm glad you're okay too."

"You two know each other? Maybe you guys can tell me and the new folk about this place."

"Well, they are both animal-like in appearance."

The Log Cabin

The detective speaks up.

I can answer that in general, but I'll let them tell their side of the story. We've been a registered hero team for a few months already, and we're currently camping to take a well-deserved rest from heroics. We're still waiting for our big break when it comes to heroics though.

A blonde man dressed in blue, black and white comes downstairs.

-yawn- "What happened?"

The detective turns towards the young man.

Oh, nothing special, just that you know the phrase "If a tree falls in the woods and no one's around..."? Well its antithesis just happened.

He says, pointing at the fallen tree in the middle of the great room and the massive hole in the wall and ceiling it made that's letting a bunch of cold rain and wind in.

“...oh.”

"Well," Glass says to Luke. "Bucky and I didn't know each other until we joined the team. I don't think any of us knew each other until then. But we sure got along quickly!"

"Oh, well, don't be deceived," Glass says jokingly to Lumièra, about her comment on them both being animals. "We both have very different origins... I think. I used to be a human, actually, but I gained this form while experimenting with frog DNA, and boy, do I love it! The real name's Benjamin, Benjamin Valerie, but I love being Glass Frog so much!"

"Hey,I like that."

Glass realizes he's been going on for too long and chuckles nervously.

"Sorry. I just got excited, I guess. So, now what?"

The Log Cabin

The detective glances back at the hole.

Well I suggest maybe finding something to cover the hole, like a tarp—

The sound of wolves howling in the distance causes him to change his mind.

Correction, we need something heavy to cover the hole! Don't want any wolves getting in here, especially not werewolves!

A young woman trudges up from the basement, half-asleep. She's wearing an oversized pajama top with "catnap time is always" printed on it, along with various pictures of cats. "What's going on up here...?" She trails off as she sees the giant hole in the cabin wall. "... Oh."

(Vixen laughs as she sees the pajamas on the woman)

   "I should probably give you 'baby clothes'"!

"So, uh, does anyone else fell, I don't know, useless in a normal combat situation? I feel like those wolves might be coming soon, and I'm not exactly the strongest." Luke sighs. "Out of all the animals to turn into..."

Depends on the situation for me as I have no powers myself. I mainly use weapons and gadgets to fight, and if those were to get disabled I also have some close combat fighting skills I've mastered. Otherwise I just use my brains to survive. Unfortunately, left most of my weapons and gadgets back at our base as this is a camping trip...

"Baby clothes...?" Shieru wonders aloud, but quickly shakes himself out of his trance. "Oh, the wolves, if we don't plug up the hole soon..."

"My ability isn't exactly...useful, against animals." he mutters, a little abashed.

Not that he ever accomplished anything by accidentally transferring his consciousness to a cat, as the boy learned the hard way.

(Cue obligatory beat.)

"...There is someone who can handle this? Please don't tell me everyone came here unarmed."
