I don't see much of a difference either. Divorce Is Temporary can be played for drama while Comedy of Remarriage evades negative emotions around divorce. I think a merge is in order.

If merging, which one gets merged into what? Divorce Is Temporary has more wicks and inbounds. Comedy of remarriage
is documented on Wikipedia.

I think we should merge and redirect Comedy of Remarriage into Divorce Is Temporary, since the former seems to be describing a genre of film on Wikipedia. That said, I don't think it may be worth a split any more than Isekai and Trapped in Another World.

I think divorce is temporary should be the official name of the trope, and comedy of remarriage should be the one merged into it based on what I can see. Divorce is temporary sounds cleaner than "comedy of remarriage", and Divorce Is Temporary also already has more wicks by far, so the trope is probably better known by that name.
Honestly, I feel like one's a trope and the other's a genre. But that's just me.
I vote to merge into Divorce Is Temporary, and add a paragraph talking about the Comedy of Remarriage subgenre.

I agree. It helps that Divorce Is Temporary is healthier than Comedy of Remarriage, so there'd be less wick cleanup to do that way, on top of everything else that would come from merging that way.

I think another option would be not to merge them, but to define Comedy of Remarriage as a plot/genre rather than a trope and only keep the examples where that fits.
