Just a Face and a Caption: The Lancer

Even if I know that this is Han Solo, it does not show why he embodies this trope. The image adds no extra information to the page.

The universe is under no obligation to make sense to us.

Previous thread. We've discussed moving the Five-Man Band pages away from Star Wars characters off and on for a long time now, but I don't think we've ever really gotten anywhere.

Why shouldn't they be Star Wars characters? Keep Until Better Image Suggested per previous thread.

I don't think it's JAFAAC because of one minor detail- the subtle contrast between him and Luke, and his facial expression, makes the dynamic clear. That, to me, makes this an okay image.

KUBIS. I'm willing to drop the 5MB-Star Wars rule, although I imagine keeping the pics of the same franchise makes it easier to recognize them as a team.

Correct; it's on the "don't change the pic" list. I'm not even sure why this was opened, since the OP didn't have a counter-suggestion.

EDIT: Rather, the opening paragraph of the "don't change the pic" folder says, "Pages under Five-Man Band must be Star Wars characters (though Luke is on The Hero instead of The Leader), but are flexible otherwise."

On Image Pickin' Special Cases it says "This status should be made clear in a commented-out tag at the top on the page." — There is nothing on The Lancer edit page to that effect.

The aforementioned rule about these pages is an old admin fiat, but it's one that's been under consideration for changing for a long time as it doesn't really work all that well, especially with the current tighter guidelines we have about page pic qualifications.

Pull. It's pure JAFAAC.

Just because Eddie's not in charge anymore doesn't mean we should pull images that were kept by admin fiat. Does anyone have an actual suggestion?
