Roleplay Namespace Cleanup and Maintenance

So, the next thing on the list is Roleplay.Advance Wars Roleplay. Despite the sandbox's claims, the wiki is not available anymore, as the only thing that seems to be on the website is a page about video games that were Banned in China. ~Nebula, ~Austin, ~OrangeKyle91, and ~CourtJackal all contributed to the page, although Nebula and Jackal haven't been active in years and Kyle is currently suspended; only Austin is likely to respond.

So, to the above tropers: do you know if this RP can still be read anywhere? If it can't, then I'm going to move it to Unpublished Works.

Roleplay.Kings Game says it's a closed roleplay and the Tumblr it links to is dead, so I believe it should be moved to DarthWiki.The Kings Game (the description and image call it "The King's Game") and the characters page merged with it.

That said, the Character page needs to go anyway since it's almost entirely bereft of tropes. The ones that are there (assuming they aren't ZCE, I just skimmed) can be moved to the main page. I'll get that done the now. EDIT: Just noticed that Serac already scoured the page of ZCE's. I'll just tidy it up a bit more and leave it on the off-chance the tropers come back to flesh it out.

My only contribution to the page was to move a trope that had been misplaced on the YMMV, so I'm afraid that I can't help you there.

Question: Potholing character names to the troper who played them. Acceptable, or burn on sight?

I mean...I wouldn't do it personally? It'd be like potholing characters to their actors or voice actors.

I think it's fine if, like we do with actors, there's a 'Played By' on the character page that potholes to the troper (Characters.Aut Omnia Aut Nihil as an example). Otherwise, yeah, I'd get rid of it.

It's been over a week now (sorry, I completely forgot about it), so I'm going to unpublish Advance Wars Roleplay and move to the next item on the list.

I know that the YMMV and moments pages should be cut for violating Auto-Erotic Troping, but what about the trivia page? Should the items there be moved with the rest of the content or just cut?

Subpages get cut regardless if we're moving them to Darth because Darth Wiki pages don't get subpages.

But there was actually no real consensus IIRC about whether or not subjective subpages for roleplays count as AET. We had a discussion that leaned towards "they do" but nothing came out of it.

Probably not, they're not main/ tropes.

Just tackled Roleplay.Destination Equestria. It lacks a link (though I'll hold off on doing anything about it right now, since Whizzerd has better Google-fu than I do), and it's a ZCE fest, but it's at least keepable.

I took care of the character page myself. That page had some aggravating formatting issues; the two lowest folders put all the tropes in curly brackets and placed them inside potholes using the same exact names for the tropes. And those weren't even bulleted; the example text was put under them, with that attached to a bullet.

Oh...I already cutlisted that one. After moving the good examples to the main page.

Roleplay.Gutskia has been without an actual description for two years. The creator, ~Dovahmom, was sent a ZCE notifier back then, but nothing appears to have actually changed. They were last active 2018, so I don't have high hopes for them fixing anything. The only other editor was ~Snarl, but I doubt they'll be coming back either.

Other than the lack of a description and a link to a site, the page has a lot of ZCEs, and a section with the header "Smutskia Tropes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)", which is likely just porn.

Yeeeeaaahhhhh, I feel like we should remove the "Smutskia Tropes" one.

Wayback Machine gets me the old site that hosted Destination: Equestria. I went through it and the D:E threads seem to be intact, so I'll pop the link on the roleplay page.

As for Gutskia, these interactions between two tumblr roleplayers seem to fit the bill (I couldn't find anything until I noticed the page image had 'tumblr' in its name, which narrowed things down). Seems to be a fair few nsfw posts, which would explain the Smut section, but yeah, that part can go. I can try and tackle the page later if no-one handles it by then.

We got a message on our contact form complaining about Characters.Ausbrig. I'm posting about it here because I have no idea what it is, but the "characters" seem to be the alter egos of real people. Further, there's no associated work article that I can find. It was last edited in 2017. The three accounts that contributed to the article seem to be drive-bys, only editing that one page.

A Google search finds nothing obviously relevant other than our own page.

Since it violates our rules by not having a primary article and doesn't seem to actually be a real thing, I nominate it for a summary cut.
