Mett breathes in deeply,then breathes out,before opening a heavy steel door. Inside the door is metal bars blocking a room that is nearly impossible to describe. It's a constantly changing whirlwind of colors,shapes,and sounds.
It's hard to tell at first,but a tall,slightly skinny man is floating in front of the bars. He has short,white hair and pale skin, and is wearing a not-quite skintight bodysuit with vertical purple and gold stripes,almost like a jester costume minus the hat. Though,the most striking feature is his eyes. His left (Mett's right) eye is red,while his right (Mett's left) eye is blue. He smiles widely at Mett. "Hello Mett!"
Mett sighs. "Hello, Tricky."

"Thanks," the Tabby said, "I groomed myself this morning to impress my buddy Ebony!! He might have to come with me into the arena, but I hope he doesn't have to.. My name is Elliot by the way, what's yours??"

"I'm about in the dark as you are," replied Elliot, "But why don't you have a seat? We may as well get to know each other before we kill each other in the arena."
Elliot's tone was rather humorous, and he capped his dialogue with a very chill-looking, shit-eating grin.

"I guess,although I think you could've worded that better." She sits down,occasionally jotting down notes.

Elliot chuckled.
"Hopefully we won't have to, though," He continued, "In fact, I do have a concise motivation to join the games this season- one which I intend to keep a secret- and a spare body I've constructed very meticulously that my soul will go to when I die. I think you might like it, honestly."
Unknown Realm
The room was completely dark, with the only light being from magic screens showing the Distortion World, the nominator party, Valecor's Lair, GASK base, and the bases of the nominators.
A figure on a high chair was facing towards them. The screens lit up the scythe at his side.
???: What fools they all are, not knowing the truth about how the multiverse really works or the truth about good and evil. So what if Valecor and Scipion were to fight a big battle? If my health wasn't dependent on this realm I'm in I would easily curb-stomp them both with ease! And yet nobody can even detect me with by powers over the void and nonexistence itself, and I've been doing this since the dawn of everything!
The figure then looks at GASK in particular, watching them make preparation for the trip to the OG world.
But they'll find the truth soon enough.... heh heh heh heh heh!

The Earth below Snow's residence began to crack, as from it emerged a giant spaceship-like vehicle, soon, from it emerged one of the nominators, Vengeful Bale, he was accompanied by his Equestrian counterpart, Crimson Gale, as well as the Human Meta Knight, Lucina, and Mr. Godzilla, his pet iguana.
Bale: Hello, Mr. Snow, I came here to drop my tribute for this Season, Gale! I can offer to go as well if there's spots to fill. I brought a few other friends to accompany me here.
Bale was looking around, unimpressed by the attendants, he found them to be good people he befriended, but he also saw them as beings beneath his notice in a fight, despite Scipion's megalomania and the others' power. Regardless he was happy to see everyone else there.
Bale: Hi guys! I wish you all luck on this coming season. May the best win.
"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."
Light and Hope
Dave's Home Base, after the end of the season
Dave stands on the Main Hall. He now wears a black hoodie jacket, a cape and a sash of cloth on his waist. Starfall steps out of a portal.
Alright, Dave, you've got some serious explaining to do. What's going on?
Dave sighs. "Well, if that's what you want...."
He starts to explain Snow's party and the current events to Starfall. After Starfall understands what's going on, the trio of alternate Shang Tsung, Quan Chi and Shinnok enters the Hall.
"Ah, you're here. I trust that you are ready?"
The three nods in confirmation. Dave summons a portal for them, and the three departs to the Ghostbusters Headquarters. He then summons several more portals. From them, several tributes enters the scene: famed sorcerer and retired Keyblade Master, Yen Sid; veterans of the last party, the Hero of Time and his companion Navi, this time alongside fellow fairies Tatl and Tael; and famed spy James Bond (in his Daniel Craig avatar).
He explains to them what's going on, and they agree to accompany the two. Suddenly, a familiar exclamation sound is heard. Dave looks around to see a cardboard box near the throne. He lifts it up to reveal the famous Solid Snake himself.
"Well, well, well. If it isn't Solid Snake himself."
"If so, my reputation must have proceeded me."
"That much is true. I am Dave, as you may have known. Anyway, while I did not expect you to be here, I realized that you may be the perfect candidate for something I've planned."
"What? Are you sending me to that Arena?"
"No. Instead...."
Dave begins to explain to Snake what he's planning.
"Understood."
Snake then departs.
"Now then. Shall we depart?"
His team nods in affirmative. The alternate Ganondorf then steps in, to Link and his companions' shock.
"I'm not here to harm. I am a mirror counterpart to your sworn enemy, and as such I am on your side," the Ganondorf quickly explains to defuse the situation. Link stands down, but is still visibly unnerved.
Seeing this, Dave quickly explains his post: watch over the base with a special guest coming later. The mirror Ganon nods, then departs.
"Now, let's go. 6k1 is doubtlessly waiting for us."
He summons a portal, leading straight to the Database Library. The team departs.

Dave's group exits the portal at the entrance. The group heads immediately to the conference room, like before.
Upon arriving at the door, Dave knocks it as a cue for his entry.
Hope: "Let's go. We'll be together." Lightning: "I only know... that soon, we'll be together."

"Alright everyone, Dave and his tributes are here!"
6k1 opens the door and greets her beloved guests.
"Please, take a seat!"
Power smiles and waves at Starfall as he takes a seat next to her. Once the others have settled in and had their share of the cake, 6k1 speaks up.
"Okay, I'll make this short so you can all go to the party on time... hopefully." She looks at the guests of honor with an air of seriousness in her eyes. "Always stand your guard. Whatever you do, stay as far away from Snow as much as possible; do not try to kill him."
The guests listen to her advice, some of them nodding in agreement.
"Starfall, watch over Power Stroke and Ralsei. Dave, keep an eye on Link and the fairies."
She waits for their confirmations.
"And most importantly, have fun!"
She ends the meeting with a smile as the guests applaud.
"Any questions, comments, or suggestions? If none, then Dave, you can send everyone to the Capitol via portal. Thank you very much for your time."
"Rarity, are you okay? We gotta get you and your friends outta here soon!"

The detective, now back at his base, opens a portal and summons Pepsiman.
Hey Pepsiman! There's evil about and it may threaten the future of Pepsi! Want to help?
Pepsiman nods yes.
Good, now let's go to the nominator party I'm invited to, you can serve the guests Pepsi there!
The Capitol
And soon enough the two arrive at the party, the detective taking a seat at one of the tables. Pepsiman then starts handing cold Pepsi cans to everyone.
Snow then sits down next to the detective.
Just the person I wanted to talk to. So I understand you've teamed up with Valecor to take on Scipion?
That is affirmative.
Well truth be told I never liked Scipion, I saw what that guy was doing was bad for business anyways.
Wait, so you wouldn't have minded if I took out Scipion and his guard before all this happened?
Nope. Heck from a business perspective all of you nominators are replaceable anyways, since anyone can nominate tributes.
Well, there goes the sole reason why I never used my most powerful weapons and gadgets on them. I have fought beings similar to them in my world and won after all. I didn't earn the name "Gamechanger" for nothing you know!

"So,what brings you to my humble abode?" Tricky asks as he lazily spins in midair,not taking his eyes off Mett.
"You know as well as I do that I don't come here to chat. I need you to tell me the location of Will Cipher."
"Ah,of course you'd like a reality warper for your little army! But,as I'm sure you're aware-"
"You want something in return,yeah yeah. Just don't say freedom,you know I can't do that."
"Freedom?" He laughs for a solid minute before he sees he's serious. "Surely you know I'm another free soul like yourself. After all,only us 2 can-"
"Hey! What did I tell you about doing...that?"
"Well in any case,I don't desire freedom. I want to see all the others free! So,as such-" he presents a life-size puppet of himself. "-could you please take this with you?"
Mett immediately gets suspicious. "...why? This isn't some sort of possession trick is it?"
"Oh,of course not! Although that would be pretty smart,I swear that's not the case! I can see through its eyes,so I want to at least glimpse what the outside world is like. I highly doubt after this long,the rulers of land still live in castles. Or was it tents? Time is weird."
Mett sighs. "Can't argue with that." he maneuvers the puppet to fit through the bars. "Now then,where is Will?"
"In the Dream Realm,he's looking for Bill currently. And if I'm correct,this is good news for you. Now you'll kill two nightmare entities with one stone!"
"Well,as much as I hate to say it,it's been a pleasure."
"Right back atcha Ton-Ton!"
Mett grumbles as he closes the door. After its shut Tricky giggles to himself as he closes his eyes...and yet he can still see. He sees himself in Mett's arms as he carries the puppet to his base. "Ah, the places we will go. Where we'll stop, no one knows!"

Marx looks at his newly-acquired capsule. It is spherical, large, and has a pig-nose insignia. Marx has heard that it seals a powerful creature within, which he can use for his own gain. From a radio, he hears how Ribbon has kicked the bucket in the games, and laughs.
Meanwhile, in the Lor...
Adeleine: "Hey, a new season's starting!"
Magolor: "I don't think it's safe to go down. After all, it's unlikely we're accepted in this season, at least for now."
Zan Partizanne: "Hey Kirby, the new season is starting! Want to take a look?"

Seriously that's not because 2 of our members tried to eat the detective that we're all that bad. And as far as I'm concerned Snow, you just as disposable as everyone else here. I mean, you got beaten by a freaking 18 years old girl in the past and some nominators have god like powers so..." the changeling said, pointing at Elliot that he found very annoying.
"If it wasn't for the fact that Scipion could actually come here and kill you all, I would have already left that stupid party of yours..." he sighed, before going back alone to his corner.
"Unacceptable. Must eliminate. No trace left."
Infinity overhears Snow and Gamechanger's conversation... More or less, anyway, since by this point he's clearly drunk.
Replaceable, huh? ...Ya ain't gonna have to find a replacement for me, I can tell ya that much. Since, y'know. Even if someone or something kills me, I won't actually die. *hic*
Infinity downs his can of Pepsi and leans back in his chair.
...I wonder if Ras is gonna send a reserve over here. I need any advantage I can get if I wanna come out on top.
Right after Infinity finishes that thought, a second Infinity-brand hovercraft arrives at the party, and with it, the very reserve that Infinity was thinking of.
Suzumi jumps off the hovercraft, enters the building, and looks around before spotting Infinity.
...Please don't tell me that he's already frickin' drunk.
Suzumi sighs and sits in the chair closest to Infinity.

Zanreo also overhears the conversation. Replaceable... really? Of course he'd think something like that... she thinks to herself. "Oh, thanks!" she says as she gets handed a can of Pepsi. She preferred Coke, but a cold drink was nice right now.
As she looks around her, she wonders if she should start preparing any reserves, like she saw several of the others do... she wasn't sure if the current amount of nominators would be enough. And in that case, she already had some plans for what do...

As all of this was happening, Billy was just observing everyone around after greeting President Snow in return, while somehow being mostly ignored alongside his tributes. During this time, his tributes has taken to mostly doing their own stuffs, being allowed to by Billy, but also reminded to use their power if anything goes wrong, or not to interact with certain people that are evil.
Then, Billy decided to make himself noticed to all the other nominators, introducing himself. "Greetings fellow nominators. My name is Billy, and I am a businessman. I started as a new nominator back in Season 47." Said Billy. He hasn't said the fact on how rich he is yet though, or the fact he's a CEO of his own corporation, that he's from another universe, and how he plans to explore the OG world independently.
After this, Billy decided to approach a nominator to talk to.

Hearing Billy's introduction, the High Armorer — who was busy regaling other guests with tales of his church and his ornate derringer — approaches him.
"Ah, a businessman! I am High Armorer Furias, representative of the Leaden Church. Say, Mr. Billy, a person such as yourself is surely concerned with the security of your assets. I am here to offer... shall we say, upgrades?
The High Armorer holds up his right hand, whereupon he materializes an ethereal flintlock pistol. The handgun transforms into an antique revolver, then a semi-automatic pistol, then a futuristic energy weapon.

Seeing the offer that High Armorer Furias made, as well as his demonstration of his ability by turning a primitive weapon to a modern one (by Billy's standard at least), Billy is interested in his offer. He can sense that he will be a useful business partner for him, providing weapon and defense.
"I am interested in your so called upgrades. I already have pretty good security for my properties, but it does not hurt to have another upgrade, so I accept your offer." Said Billy to the Grand Armorer.

After 6k1 closes the discussion, the group takes a brief rest to eat some cake. Afterwards, they walk together to the entrance. Dave summons a portal to the Capitol, and the group departs, but not without thanking 6k1.
Flashback: A Sudden Call
Just before the last season ended, Dave received a surprise call from Detective Gamechanger. And when the Detective told him of his plans to go to the ruined world, Dave was pleasantly surprised.
"Really? My agents have discovered inklings of that plan, but I, too, don't have a clue of what he's planning. I am preparing a crew, and they should be here soon. Would you like to join them? I intend to have them head there as soon as we can."
The Nominator's Party, The Capitol
Dave's company arrives at the party a little while after Detective Gamechanger did. He notices the Detective, and gives him a curt nod.
Taking seats near Zanreo, the group soon overhears Snow's remark of the nominators being replaceable and Pharynx's retort. Starfall is shocked to see him on the villainous side, but Dave explains that he must be from an alternate universe, which was accepted.
"I'm not surprised that Snow believes that; he tends to look down on others, unless they are a worthy opponent. And while those are just Snowclones, Pharynx still has a point on Coriolanus," says Dave to his group.
They then overhears Billy's introduction. Suddenly, Dave sees a new, yet slightly familiar face. Could it be....?
"Hang on a sec, I'mma talk to him first."
He then approaches Billy, but the new-yet-familiar face gets to him first. However, when he introduces himself as High Armorer Furias, Dave seems to find himself mistaken. Oh, well, he can find out later. He approaches them.
"Hello, Mr. Billy, High Armorer Furias. You may call me Dave. I see it that you two are.... certainly interesting. And I happen to be a very resourceful man. What say you we make a little alliance?"

Power rolls her eyes at Snow's remark. While she's also surprised that the Pharynx here isn't reformed, she readily accepts the explanation. She also agrees with his point about Snow, and as much as she wants to try to kill the real deal, she sticks to 6k1's advice.
She waves at Zanreo and Crimson Gale before turning to Starfall. "So... you excited for the Nominator Games? You bet I am!"
Ralsei, meanwhile, just hopes that Kris and Susie are here, too.
