This is one of the "no pic" pages, but that's such a great lampshade that I think we can go with it.

While I like the image we're currently using the same show for the page image of Episode Title Card.
The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you?It's...fine? Entirely text-reliant, but probably the safest way to pic this.
I think it's okay...?

The reason why this trope has no pic allowed is unknown. It doesn't say in the tag - if an old thread decided on it, it must have been deleted.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!I like the suggestion; we could take another look at Episode Title Card if it's chosen (that thread had a lot of other good suggestions).
Keet cleanupThis page was an Eddie fiat way back in the day; the reasons are probably purged with the old edit histories. There might be a thread about it in the deepest recesses of the Morgue as well.
I don’t see a reason to change the pic on Episode Title Card; it’s not like there’s a duplicate to avoid.

I can go with OP.
Isn't it an image macro?
Spiral out, keep going.^ You may be right. There ain't no episode with this title on IMDb.
Photoshopped images aren't the same as macros and are allowed (for example, Word of Gay, which an IP thread kept).
Keet cleanupI like the suggestion, but I agree that it's similar enough to the pic on Episode Title Card that we should probably look for replacements on that page.
I don't see a dupe issue here.
I don't have a problem with the image.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Since the thread seems about evenly divided on whether the suggestion is a duplicate, I've made a Single Proposition crowner.
Word of Gay's photoshopping is heavy enough for it to be considered a standalone work on its own merit. This one has just its text changed (judging by Police Squad's imdb page, the rest of the images in the OP are made that way, too).
It might not be technically an image macro but it's definitely a meme. And memes are not allowed.
Spiral out, keep going.I agree with this.
Same.
I liked the image when I first saw it, but the reasoning is a strong argument against using it. Memes/macros are usually not allowed.
I wouldn't mind having a picture on this page, though. I don't think it has to be squicky and we could find some funny image for this concept.
Clock is set.
I missed the crowner; it's hooked and the clock's turned off.
The crowner is rather speculative and doesn't make much sense at this point, to be honest. If OP makes Episode Title Card's pic a duplicate, we start a new thread. And by the way things are looking, OP has chances of not getting selected for Author Appeal page.
I think we should focus on voting on the actual picture for Author Appeal and not getting ahead of ourselves.

Spiral out, keep going. The crowner was solely about whether the pic should count as a duplicate, hence why I created it under Single Proposition instead of Image Pickin'.

The crowner relies on OP being selected as a page pic when there is no consensus on the issue, diverting attention from the thread's topic. The crowner's simply a waste of time right now. I say we choose the pic first, then think about if it's a duplicate, if such problem will indeed arise.
Can the crowner be closed temporarily?
Edited by Millership on May 8th 2019 at 11:57:54 PM
Spiral out, keep going. The crowner's been up for more than a week and is deadlocked, so I've gone ahead and closed it. Any other thoughts?

Found this and immediately thought of the Author Appeal entry, which is currently lacking a page image. Thoughts?
