I am Akiraka Shinanai von Borealis III! And I guess if this letter is anything to go by, I'm the Ultimate Lucky Student of Hope's Peak Academy. Today was only orientation, so for now all I have me are the classic keys, wallet, phone. And the letter of course.

Danganronpa Neo (Or, How To Disguise Your Shameless Fanfiction As An Interactive Story)
(Hello, everyone! This is a sorta-reboot-more-of-just-a-new-thing-in-general of my old quest thread based on the visual novel series, Danganronpa.)
(So what is a quest thread, you may be asking if you're newer to the forum games scene. Imagine a roleplay thread, except everybody controls a single character. I am the GM of sorts, controlling everything else. If you're at all familiar with Ruby Quest, it's the same deal.)
(To play, simply insert a command for an action and the character will react accordingly. For example, if you found yourself in a puzzle that somehow involved odors of some kind, and you put in the command >Smell toes, the character will smell their toes. Simple, right?)
(Now, this quest thread is a bit different from most. You have more indirect control over the character than most of these threads do. Your commands will be more read as suggestions than demands. Don't worry if you think this will lead to railroading, though. This character is a lot more easy to manipulate than most people.)

I can't believe this is actually happening.
In front of me stood the most pretentious and well respected academy in the nation. Hope's Peak Academy. They say that if you somehow manage to get accepted, you're guaranteed a successful life and future.
Not any simple student can end up in this school. The only way you can possibly get in is if you're the best of the best of the best in your field. Many famous leaders and celebrities stood where I'm standing now!
In my hand was something I still couldn't wrap my head around. An acceptance letter.
Well, I say it's an acceptance letter. It's more of an invitation. I didn't apply, after all, I was chosen.
The contents of the letter were brief and to the point.
"Good day," it began. "If you're reading this letter, you've been chosen from a lottery of the nation's youth. You have been accepted by Hope's Peak Academy as the Ultimate Lucky Student. We look forward to having you this school year."
It wasn't shy about saying that I merely got here out of luck. But still, I'm here, right?
... Ah, right. I should probably introduce myself!
