Changed my team name to "Number Duel" as looking at my tributes who died in the bloodbath, it appears I'd spend more time nominating them than new tributes. Therefore, I've decided to only nominate them again if I want to at a certain time.

I've kind of wondered for a while if, with how long the early updates tend to be anymore, maybe it could be a good idea to start nominating two hosts at a time. I mean, they could coordinate to alternate between updates, possibly letting them work on two updates simultaneously, lightening the workload a bit and allowing updates to come out faster.

Just a theory.

Like, there must be two hosts from now on? I don't know since some hosts prefer going solo, but on the other hand, we've been recently encouraging them to slow down when needed. We know that seasons were much faster back in the OG, but this is a forum game Long Runner; the playerbase is growing up and a lot of us have RL obligations besides managing this thread, and slowing things down would benefit their schedule and mental health.

Not necessarily as a requirement, it just kind of seems like a lot of seasons lately have ended up needing backup hosts, which I totally get. The one season I hosted capped at just 36 tributes, which still had a lot of events to cover, but I found doable. I'm sure that given that seasons have almost twice as many tributes as they used to, it's even harder to get quality updates out while still taking time for the host's personal lives. I mainly had the early updates in mind when I made that suggestion, because if I had to write something that long, I don't know how much I would want to work on it for the rest of the day after.

1. Okay, Let’s get this out of the way first; Inosuke, “Suck My Energy” Vending Machine, Dragondoran, Millie, Clawdeen, Drake, W, Sebille, Britanny, Epicguy, Donkey Kong, and Rammstein Ant all ran away from the Cornucopia. Devil was a bit cooler since he cartwheeled away instead.

2. Okay, so some weird lookin’ guy named “Koran” has a gun, apparently.

3. It’s our first kill of the season, and it’s a tiny Chihuahua overpowering 9 people at once?!?! Well, apparently those 9 people are counted as one tribute, so they technically only killed one person for some reason. Why that’s… Strange.

4. Zenitsu isn’t having a good time… *ba-dum tssss* *Berdly is punched by Susie*

5. Okay, so people with K names have declared war on Ancient Rome… And won, or somethin’ like that. Oh, and some nearly bald Japanese-lookin’ dude also got killed but who cares. That person’s family and friends, of course! You do realize that this sim is fictional, right? Their nominator still cares! Let’s move on to the next event or somethin’ Noooooo!!!

I'm relieved both my tributes are still alive, for the bloodbath at least.

I don't expect any kill for my tributes tbh, especially who're villains in their universe, according to my previous record.

There are times where it feels like how well my tributes do is inversely proportionate to how much I like them. Not saying that this is one of those times, except for the fact that, y'know, this is exactly one of those times.

Oh, Roy. This is the second time my male tribute has died early. Hopefully it doesn't become a pattern...

Just so you know, TRB will do half-updates this season because the early full updates are too big for him to write.

Anyway, it's rare to see my tribs being involved in the same Bloodbath event, let alone a nonfatal one. Let's sing "Fixer Upper" with them!

I think this makes Gus my second tribute to kill my other tribute, after Etie.

Finally, both of my tributes made it through the first update after three seasons!

Okay, I give up. This is the third time the same tribute I suggest gets eliminated in the first update, so I'm not bothering with him again. Also this might be the worst season for me because both tributes die in the Bloodbath! I'm not suggesting Hetalia tributes in general since apart from Santa Finland, all of them did bad or horrible.
