@ HandsomeRob
Perhaps I should be more specific.
Welker makes Megatron sound like an uncultured brute.
Yes, Megatron is a brute, but he's an Affably Evil gentleman who will make your death quick.
Unless you piss him off.
Welker Megatrons (and Tatasciore's Megatron, for that matter) always seem to be one step away from a Hair-Trigger Temper.
Corey Burton's Megatron IS that refined brute who would be the ideal leader for the Decepticons.

As always, YMMV.
Let's be honest: what about Marc Thompson's Megs? Nothing about him has been said in this thread (so far, if I'm not wrong).
I liked Frank Welker as Megs too, maybe I like his Prime onward voice more. I admit that I never watched the original series (sans the intros, outros, parodies like Robot Chicken and abridged series like Freddery McMahon's Geewun Redone - take a look at this one). Please don't do anything to me.
By the way, we must not forget that this thread is about a show, not about Transformers in general. Or who is better as Megs.

"Scooby Dooby Doo!"I will admit that I give credit to Welker for at least making Megatron sound old in Transformers: Prime — even if he couldn't sound old on the same level as Peter Cullen (Hasbro, you should probably have gotten another voice actor for Optimus in that case).
That aside, Jake Tillman and Marc Thompson are giving fresh, wonderful takes on both Optimus and Megatron respectively. I can definitely believe that they're both of comparable age (rather than hearing Cullen sound uncomfortably ancient compared to the rest of the cast) and started out as friends in the days before the war.
In fact, my only main issue with the Cyberverse's voice cast is that Tillman is not being allowed to emote as much as he has the potential to.
I feel that that has something to do with Hasbro mandating the scripts around Prime's characterization too much (as is the case these days), and Tillman trying to emulate Cullen too much. If Tillman by some chance ever reads this post (which is not that likely, I admit), I'd encourage him to not be afraid to make Cyberverse Optimus more of his own take on the character, just as David Kaye did with BW Megatron and Animated Optimus.

Ok, so Kaye was Megs for the majority of Energon and Cybertron, and was replaced for one episode in both series. I figured it was something like that.
One Strip! One Strip!I'm so sorry that only today I've seen those, but someone has caught at the San Diego Comic Con footage of the second season.
Also, story editor and writer Randolph Heard seems to agree with one person's headcanon that Shadow Striker's sister Roulette exists in the show.
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Lo and behold, the first four episodes of Transformers Cyberverse: Power of the Spark here!Spoiler!
On a note, I'm kinda upset that nobody here wants to talk about the show. Unless something controversial enough happens to reignite interest... for a second. Then you turn your attention as usual to real, actual hot topics. And even when you talk about it in this thread, you mostly don't talk about the show. Or is it just me.
Peace out, for now.*

"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Apparently Sky-Byte is going to be in the show, it'll be the first time he's appeared in animation since the original Robots in Disguise anime.

He also has toys, too!
With this, I like Cyberverse even more!
However, this time is for real. I won't answer for a while. So don't bother (try as much as you want).

"Scooby Dooby Doo!"His bio describes him as a "harbinger of doom" and he's a rival to Jetfire (who'll also be in the show).
Has anyone seen the episodes on the link? And if someone did watch them, how where they in your opinion?
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"The wait for a televised airing of Season 2 isn't too far behind. In fact, it's next month on Cartoon Network, according to Animation Magazine!
6:30 a.m. Transformers Cyberverse “Sea of Tranquility” To save the Earth from destruction, the Autobots must defeat the Decepticons on the Moon.
6:30 a.m. Transformers Cyberverse “Bad Moon Rising” Starscream makes a power play for control of the Decepticons as the Moon hurtles toward the Earth.
6:30 a.m. Transformers Cyberverse “The Visitor” As one of Wheeljack’s inventions wreaks havoc on The Ark, Bee tries to figure out what he saw on the Moon.
6:30 a.m. Transformers Cyberverse “Bring Me the Spark of Optimus Prime” The Decepticons are thrown into chaos by an unexpected Autobot visitor in their midst.

Well, my wait is almost over! Though it's strange that at least one or two episodes of this season weren't released earlier before the TV broadcast on the Cartoon Network App like last year.
Note: Those were aired before the U.S. schedule, but nobody cares about seeing from the link I've posted.

"Scooby Dooby Doo!"The first two episodes of Transformers: Cyberverse's second season, Power of the Spark, are already on the Cartoon Network App.
Has anyone seen them?
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"I have. So can’t wait for episode two to be officially released so either I or someone else can add to the Nightmare Fuel entry of Megatron brutally murdering Starscream.
Don't Judge me, need more views: https://www.deviantart.com/big-k-2011 | https://bigk1337.newgrounds.com/ | https://twitter.com/BigK64133As for your plans to add on the Nightmare Fuel page of this show about Screamer's death, someone else already did it.
Come on, don't leave it dead.
I'm retracting the last part of this post. It isn't actually Lugnut (in some foreign countries, it is), and the episode title I mentioned that she appears was actually "Bring Me the Head of Optimus Prime". This character is actually Clobber, with the name derived from a Headmaster from Beast Wars: Uprising. The Cyberverse one is an In Name Only version that homages Lugnut. I am sorry for my mistakes that I did there.
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"Starscream getting killed off by Megatron after one backstabbing attempt? This Megatron isn't messing around, though I wonder if that means Starscream is coming back as a ghost.
I don't think he will come back as a ghost. Episode summaries beyond the first two, anyone?

"Scooby Dooby Doo!"And if you're wondering why the time skip of Season 2 of Transformers: Cyberverse reveals that the show takes place in 2007, here's one comment I found on a review from YouTuber UltraPrimal of the episode "Sea of Tranquility":
"Scooby Dooby Doo!"The Transformers: Cyberverse episode "Bad Moon Rising" is now avalable on YouTube! Will someone explain to Starscream what these little buttons do?
Honestly, it's not like Starscream didn't have that utter decimation coming, but OW. I wonder how many children were scarred by seeing Megatron kill the guy onscreen.
Just caught it.
Damn. Even Galvatron had more to say when he iced G1 Starscream. But this version of Megs was just done with this shit.
Well done.
One Strip! One Strip! You have to give major props to the sound direction for that scene in highlighting the complete terror in said scene. From the lack of dialogue from Megatron to the intense music that just keeps building up to the climax where he kills Starscream. It was by far the best thing from that episode.

Wait... I forgot this...
