The boss who guards the Very Definitely Final Dungeon. He disguises as an ordinary old man before going insane and attempting to kill the protagonist with a knife.

I assume that's Merasmus with a moustache raging, so basically the Merasmus boss fight in TF 2 but he now enters an "Uber" mode where he grows a moustache becomes invulnerable for 10 seconds and moves 2 times faster while shooting exploding moustaches out of the Bombinomicon.

Nightclub boss in a demon-infested location. Boss is powered by the number of customers and can be fought at full strength which is Nintendo hard and a requirement for the best ending or severely weakened by killing everyone not in your party to cripple him.

A tutorial boss for each new ability the player gets. It’s impossible to die to them, but they can’t take damage.

That One Boss who you fight in another world who uses various different colour coded attacks.

A Dual Boss that alternate attacks, they can be That One Boss to beginners, but any experienced player will easily defeat they since they have predictable patterns of attack

A boss that constantly uses poison skills and poison laced weapons. The poison stack up continuously if not healed.

Boss that spams spells and minions while in the first phase while being snobby. Second phase the hair goes insane you pull out a katana and you leap around like a frog on crystal meth with screaming incoherently.

Giant, erraticly leaping monstrosity that can cover the floor in sticky tar like substance, hindering movement.

Either the player has an item that can be used to toss the tar back at it's face to stun it or the boss room has a gimmick that flushes the floor clean and trips the boss, either option makes the fight easier.

Anti-Hero character you fight multiple times throughout the game, specializing in ice and snow attacks that frequently freeze the party.

Hero Antagonist in a game where you play as a villain, except her attacks do not affect you in the slightest bit, and is there to induce a Moral Event Horizon

Cosmic horror boss that requires using the ancient artifacts you collected and the collective will of humanity to defeat.

A boss you fight in the middle of the story as a turning point in the narrative.

A miniboss you run into at various points in the game. He has nothing to do with the actual plot, but sees you as a Worthy Opponent. Every time you encounter him, not only does he get stronger, but he acquires new techniques as well, and on higher difficulty settings he even learns and adapts to how you fight. If you take a certain path through the game, he joins you for the final boss fight. And then, of course, you get to have a friendly spar with him afterwards.

Can overwhelm the player if not properly prepared.

Either a Secret Test of Character boss that you're supposed to avoid killing, or one that (spoiler alert for source material) has multiple phases.

I would say, kinda like the Miitopia Dragon boss fight.

Pretty neat, just add "Sends former fought mid bosses and bosses on higher difficulty" into the mix. We still need a Death Battle reference. (Also according to the Villian Wikia, he's an arena master)

Mad Scientist who fights you with a robot in multiple phases, he also suffers a Villainous Breakdown in his robot's last form.

He attacks with homing missiles, floor traps, trying to crush you under his robot's feet or hands, or cutting you with buzzaws.

Things like flight and running are added as attacks as the battle progresses.

After defeating the robot, the scientist becomes a Joke Character that can be defeated without even fighting

Same thing as Cagney Carnation but he's a girl. Nuf said.

A giant ball of death that hits you with chained Ao E Do T attacks. Requires suction devices or flame weapons to kill.
