Meanwhile, from a nearby outpost, a man wearing a ranger uniform was sleeping on the roof. He was interrupted from his slumber by a loud noise. His expression turned grumpy when he realized where it came from.
Grumbling about the "cityfolk who can't live without a GPS", he set off towards where the flare came from with his truck.
