Last night...I don't remember a night. I dipped out right during the day, I remember that much...I was talking PJ about...whatever. Where is he anyway?

"Nothing," I reply, bracing myself.

Campsite

"I see... I need to explain what Koss said, then."

Mila braces herself for Eliot's reaction, slowing down her rubs and moving her paws down to the Smeargle's shoulders. She hopes this will go better now, but she has few expectations that it will.

"... It's possibly a split personality. You'd only remember parts from one half at a time. He said he'd look into help from the guild to treat it, but— I'm sorry, Eliot."

(Marsha walks over to where Bailey, Rex, and presumably Steph are.) Hey, fellas! Time ta get up! We've got a lotta ground ta cover today!

Rex gets up and rubs his eyes.

"Good morning," he says.

"Good morning," Steph says softly as she yawns and twirls her kadabra mustache, "Does my mustace make me look cool?" she asks

The campsite

Once Marsha goes off to rouse some of the others awake I continue to practice walking on the crutches, just to be sure I 100% absolutely can handle them. I walk forward a couple steps. Yep, definitely am able to handle them. I come to a stop and idly wait.

Anyone know what we'll actually do once get back there?

Chez > outside areas of Foxfell

Hudson, Richard, and Hallie all spill out into the slowly-hustling-and-bustling streets of Foxfell of this new day. Hudson scans the scene and attempts to locate said Raticate.

Can ya tell me what he looked like? Did yeh catch his name or som'thn?

Uh...he had a sack, and he was called the...Sticky-Toothed bandit I believe? He mentioned that he one stole a bunch of wonder orbs...don't know how he did that.

W—wait. I know that name. He's a rather ruthless thief who manages to steal basically anything he can get his hands on. His ruthlessness comes from how comedic he is.

Bailey gets up upon hearing Marsha. He yawns and puts on his hat.

"Good morning, Marsha. Good morning, Rex and Steph."

Campsite

"Good morning, Bailey!" says Rex. "I hope you guys slept well."

"Yeah!" Bailey responds. "I can't wait to keep going. How about you?"

Campsite

Uh, yeahs! (Marsha says to Steph. She then addresses all three of them.) Think we're gawnna go ahead 'n hit the road and eat breakfast when we get ta town. Think you fellas are set?

Chez

Ooh, so he does this all the time, eh? (Speck asks.)

Campsite

"Me too," says Rex to Bailey. "If we're only halfway there, we should get there in about three hours, I think..."

"What are we going to do once we get there?" he asks Marsha.

Campsite

I move with the crutches to meet with Rex and help possibly answer his question.

Well, a lot, honestly. The first time we were there we had to hunt a bad woman down, so really, we could do anything.

Outside, Foxfell

Y—yes. He gets people confused by his comedic act then he steals their items.

That's exactly what happened to me!

Right. Let's fan out, and find him. He could be anywhere around here. Do you know where he could be? We could try there first.

Uhm...anywhere around the inn, possibly? I dunno.

So we'll go there then.

(I nodded to Marsha.) Ready when everyone else is.

Steph isn't done with breakfast of Pecha berries, but is ready to go when everyone is

I'm still trying to fall back asleep. Or at least pretend to be asleep. I'm too tired. And cold. I don't wanna uncurl from my little ball of warmth.

"I'm ready to move out when ever you guys are." I walk over to the group after getting my things in order.

[Appearently no one heard my question. Eh, what's life without its surprises.]

Campsite

"...hmm." It's what she said yesterday, too. I don't like it, but I guess I'll have to live with it. As long as this other personality can keep up.

I hear murmurs of a trip, apparently we're halfway to Foxfell at this point. Three hours away, and they'll eat breakfast once they're there according to Marsha. I'd rather not wait that long.

I stand up, wipe the sleep from my eyes. Hoisting my bag up on my shoulder, I note the many varieties of Berries surrounding us. My stomach groans, and finding the nearest tree, I walk over and start reaching up to pick off my meal. Something small to nourish me; I think I'll stay in this form for the time being, and I don't want a full stomach getting in the way of any possible encounters.

Campsite

Yeahs, but what I'm hopin' for is that we won't come back to some sorta disastah. (Marsha tells Marlon.)

(Seeing that Eliot and Steph have discovered some Berry bushes nearby does stir up Dinah's appetite, especially since she never finished eating her casserole from last night. She moves over to one of the bushes herself and picks off a couple of Berries herself just so she isn't walking back to Foxfell on a completely empty stomach. She also goes ahead and picks several more in case anyone else besides herself wants any Berries for the three hour walk back.)

Foxfell

(Speck is very visibly bothered by the Raticate's MO.) Ooh, what a jerk...I'll teach him for pulling that trick on Hallie! (He floats ahead.)

Campsite

I mean, I'd like to think that they've kept a close eye on things since we came down from that mountain. Or maybe Anastasia gave up on terrorizing Foxfell. Who really knows? Anyway, let's make sure everyone else is ready.

I say, pivoting myself around to return to near where my bed was and attempt to find out about the remaining members of out party who aren't yet ready.

You guys ready? We got the other half of the trek back today.

Foxfell

Wait, Speck—don't go scaring the guy half to death!

Uh, lad...wait fer us. We'll take 'em down together.

The group is approaching the general vicinity of the inn.

Campsite

"I'm ready," says Rex.

"Me too!" says Bailey.

Noriaki and Hikari nodded.

(Go away, I'm still tired.) I am ball.

Steph nods, "Well, they do say a jog is good for the mind, so let's start walking," she was keen to know if Kadabra had long stamina when it came to walking, although using psychic powers to levitate might be easier, "Do you mind if I levitate after awhile, during the walk to Foxfell?" she asks.

Oftentimes, I lamented my solitude.

Solitude, however, did come with its perks. I admired myself in the large mirror on my living room wall as I placed a papier-mâché creation on my head. Gray in coloration, it resembled three abnormally-thick locks of hair bunched tightly together, the middle of which ran down past my neck.

"Would you fuck me?" I asked my reflection. "I'd fuck me."

But all of a sudden, I felt my entire body tingling. I vanished in a flash of light, causing the "wig" to fall to the ground where I had once stood.

I was spat out onto the ground. When I got up... my arms were rather stubby, and I felt very small.

My nose was massive, too. Yep. I was a Bagon, alright.

I could get used to this.
