Funnily enough, I don't feel all that scared whenever I'm facing certain death. After all, the Commander will always order another body for me and install a backup of my neural cloud on it. The same goes for my fellow T-Dolls.
Now, the scariest situation I've been in... was when the Commander came back to the base in a stretcher, half-dead, wounded from head to toe. See, self-preservation isn't his highest priority. He's the kind of guy who will throw himself in front of gunfire if it'll achieve his objectives. I was super anxious that time. What if the Commander didn't make it? Would he be crippled for life? Even if he turned fine, he violated the company's directives, which is grounds to be fired on the spot. I thought he was extraordinarily lucky that he only got a one month suspension.
