Sarcasm is the greatest joke on the internet.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Sarcasm does not work well in text form. We have a Sarcasm Mode for a reason.
Disgusted, but not surprisedDammit Saiga!
Always use a Sarcasm Mode pothole! Always!

One Strip! One Strip! He's the "helpful and reliable pope" of Bleach though. That means at any point he could be as big a troll as Aizen. This should be expected.

Disgusted, but not surprisedSo what your saying is, I should go to the Vatican & challenge the pope to a fist fight.
That makes sense,
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I see you played Assassin's Creed II as well.
Disgusted, but not surprisedWell of course Ezio was the Golden Age of the franchise.
The current games don't come up close.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Agreed. I couldn't even bring myself to finish Assassin's Creed III.
Disgusted, but not surprisedBlack Flag was more of a return to form especially in its story-telling but afterwards no game since has come close to Edward's tale.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."....so, anyone we want to see get some focus in the arc after this?
Perhaps it's finally time for Mina to have her day in the sun?
Maybe Tail Boy will get something besides how boring he is (and I mean, is he really that boring? Seems like they are trying to force that joke a little)?
I say, we need more Minet....
<Ducks all the bricks>
....and I went too far.
One Strip! One Strip!Fuck the hell yes to Mina getting focus. She's my fave girl and I would love to see her get more focus.
And I don't really find the Ojiro jokes to be forced cause he really is boring and plain compared to the rest of the characters. It's honestly why I'm baffled the Japanese considered him an Ensemble Dark Horse after just one moment during the Sports Festival. True, an Honor Before Reason character could be appealing, yet they voted him that popular after just one moment.
He and Hagakure basically have one character trait at first before they just become a walking joke: Ojiro originally having Honor Before Reason but now being The Generic Guy, and Hagakure being the Girly Girl but now being a walking invisible joke.
Plus, their character designs and personalities are just so boring.
- Ojiro is just someone with a tail. Hagakure is just a set of floating clothes. That's it. Compared to Todoroki looking like Zuko, Mina looking like an Alien, Koda looking like a rock person, or Jiro's punk goth aesthetic, they don't really have stand out designs.
- Ojiro's designs would work better if he had more simian like features to go with his tail since he'd then give off a monkey aesthetic, but otherwise he's basically a generic stencil with a tail drawn on. Even his hero costume isn't all that interesting. It's just a Martial Arts Uniform. That's it.
- Personality wise:
- Again, Ojiro's only real trait was Honor Before Reason, yet now he's The Generic Guy. Even the other generic guy, Sen Kaibara, has more personality to him since he has hints of the Blood Knight.
- Hagakure is a walking stripper gag. Her status as the Girly Girl also feels redundant when we already have Mina as the Genki Girl and Momo as The Ojou, both having girly personalities to go with them.
Not all characters are born equally...
I'm kinda torn on if I want the plot to move forward or if I want to see other characters get fleshed out.
On one hand, I definitely prefer character driven stories and would like to see the world outside of the main cast and plot. On the other hand, the main plot is actually interesting and I'd rather not see it stalled any longer than necessary
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.We do have a buffer though in that the main story has effectively a timelock on it. The LOV/PLF won't be progressing till four months from now, possibly three if considering the current arc to take place over at least a month. While a timeskip is always an option, having that long a buffer allows for plenty on leeway in character focused mini arcs, as well as allowing us to tie up some loose plot threads.
For example, what happened with Gentle and La Brava? Last we saw they were being offered the option to assist the police, but we haven't heard from them for several In-Universe months.
Vegeta: I'm back bitches!I think there's time for a bit of mild focus on other classmates and their training/internships. It could be useful to set up whatever big moments they're going to have during the big event in four months.
It's pointed out that even by in verse standards Hagakure looks weird. I suppose a guy with four arms is just a guy with four arms, but a floating school uniform is just odd.
Heart of StoneWell, I've pondered taking advantage of this four months to do team ups with other heroes and interns. It's an easy excuse to give more spotlight to certain characters.
I still don't expect that they'll all ever be highlighted though, but I think that's okay. Koda is legitimately one of my favorite members of the class, but I have no delusions he's there for more than to basically be a seat filler. But that's all right and, hey, maybe I'll eventually be surprised.
I feel like my idea on what constitutes good or bad character usage might be a bit in the minority, though.
I agree that some characters just aren't as important as others, and that's ok. All I need is the occasional reminder that everyone in the class is competent, works hard and deserves to be there, even if they're not the top-tier of top-tiers like the main characters, and I think MHA is pretty good at giving such moments to pretty much everyone.
(That said, I'm still very happy whenever a minor character gets the spotlight for a short while).
If it's about splitting up the class character page can't you just do it by seat number?
Heart of StoneSo, spoilers for the next chapter are out. Looks like I need to pick Vigilantes back up.
thank ye
