You don't have any sources and you just have 'a feeling'. I'm sensing a lot of confirmation bias here and I can think of plenty of Disney films that were well liked and made money but didn't get sequels at all.
Tangled was a massive success, but never saw a sequel. So were TRON: Legacy, Up, Inside Out, WALL-E, Ratatouille, Big Hero 6, OZ, Moana, Coco, Cinderella (2015), Beauty and the Beast (2017), and Mary Poppins Returns. Success critically and financially doesn't mean that a sequel WILL happen. Nor does it mean that those properties *eventually* getting a sequel a decade or more later prove the point either.
From my perspective, I haven't seen Incredibles 2 talked about pretty much at all since the month(s?) of release. Mentioning it to someone has "Right, I forgot that came out" as the most positive of remarks about it. And as for Disney themselves, I can't think much of them really promoting it beyond release. Like, we had the Incredi-Coaster in DCA around the same time, but that seems to have been more serendipity than anything and it's not like we got a bunch of Jack-Jack shorts or something akin to how Frozen 2 got an Olaf Special or two or Up currently has the Doug series.
I also can completely assure you that A LOT of Disney films; and I mean A LOT, have directors or writers or actors being asked about sequels and giving an answer of "It's on the table, we just don't have a green light" or some similar phrasing and... nothing happens. Almost EVERY film that isn't a horrific thud has some answer like that somewhere in interviews or on a wikipedia page and feelings fizzle out.
Some of those movies got TV shows, so, close enough.
The Incredibles would be a pretty good fit for a TV show, honestly.
I personally prefer Cars 2 over Cars 3, and even above the original Cars for that matter.
And before people start complaining about the treatment of the Lemons, the Radiator Springs gang would have given them help if they just surrendered and asked for mercy. The original film established that they care for any car, regardless of status.
Furthermore, The Incredibles has its own mixed message on the relations between supers and non-supers (see Dash complaining about keeping his powers in check and thinking that his powers make him more special than those who don't have any — a viewpoint that he learned from his father no less and isn't really addressed in either the original movie or the sequel) and yet very few people call this out.

God Bless you Bright Light. I hate the Incredibles for its really messed up aesop.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Man, I think Rise of the Underminer was better.
It got a TV series which acts as a direct sequel to the film. Sometimes if a sequel film doesn't work out, a TV series sequel can work.
See the Tangled example. (Though Disney is also considering a direct sequel film at some point.)
Out of the films you listed, these two ended up becoming huge flops with fans. (Especially MPR which came out way way too late, had it been released in the 70s probably would have been a much better hit.)
Except, it's freaking Disney we're dealing with (aka the biggest milkers of sequels ever in entertainment history), if a film gets a lot of hype (which I2 was the most anticipated film of 2018) and makes a ton of money (which AGAIN I2 did and it already tops Toy Story as the highest grossing franchise in Pixar's library despite Toy Story having 2 more sequels), a sequel is a given. Even Pixar's president John Morris has said sequels are a necessity to keep the money flowing.
Plus The Incredibles in general was already ripe to become a huge franchise anyways once the first film came out.
Anyone notice that with Pixar going back to doing originals, Disney animation is making sequels again? (Pixar in 2010 had mostly sequels with 4 original films and Disney having mostly original films and only 2 sequels during that decade) and the roles are swapped, I have a feeling that role will reverse itself by the time the 2030s arrive.
Rise of Underminer was terrible, I2 is way way better than that garbage game (since your only allowed to play as Mr. Incredible or Frozone, you can't even play as Elastigirl, Violet or Dash in it).

Regarding The Incredibles, I think Pixar Popcorn from 2020 is the most recent example of new content, but they're primarily gag shorts.
I remember when Pixar Canada was going to be their minor-league feeder slash sequel-and-shorts mill. I liked that plan. I assume that Pixar Emeryville absorbed some of the best people and generally got bigger when they shut down Pixar Canada. Originally, Pixar seemed to only be able to work on one feature at a time, or maybe they had one in production and one or two in pre-production. I recall they said Wall-E and I think Ratatouille came out of a brainstorming session they had after Toy Story was a success and it looked like they'd be making more movies. At this point with Pixar Popcorn, Sparkshorts, the technical experiment feature shorts, sequels, and spinoffs, they have to have multiple production teams operating in parallel now.
Actually come to think of it, Walt Disney Feature Animation only had one in production and one on deck too before Pocahontas and The Lion King went into production at the same time.

Even though Zootopia 2 is in development (with plans for a 3rd entry later in the decade if 2 becomes as huge as a hit as the first film did).
Also the Pixar Popcorn shorts came out earlier this year (like on January 18th), not sure if they're planning any more Pixar Popcorn shorts for next year.
I should point out that Tron:Legacy was itself a sequel, and apparently has a sequel in the works, Tron: Ares. It also had a TV spin off in Tron: Uprising.
I liked Legacy, but I admit to being sorely disappointed that Tron himself was barely in it.
I thought it turned out that he was, but heavily rewritten for most of it.
Fresh-eyed movie blogLooks like Creator Backlash is indeed going to be added to Incredibles 2.
Sarah Vowell's confirmed hatred for Incredibles 2 has been confirmed as I suspected when it was first hinted at on Twitter, which was reconfirmed on a AMA Reddit post with the author herself.

do you have a source for your claim?
New theme music also a boxhttps://www.reddit.com/r/IncrediblesMemes/s/6wEcv9Hxly it's confirmed in this Reddit post which IMDb didn't have added.
These are all true.

...there's literally no citation from an alleged Reddit AMA there, though.
But it did come from online meetings with Sarah Vowell herself had with fans, and since she's more common on Facebook, that's probably where it came from.
So in my opinion, they're all true since these were leaked.

Uncited anecdotal evidence is not good enough.
This comes off as trying to bump the thread just to complain.
You don't think someone would lie about "leaks",do you?

New theme music also a boxSearching for that quote only turns up this post on Reddit which has zero citations. I'd leave it out.
For now, unless Sarah Vowell decides to write a book on it. And with the new year being the 20th anniversary of the first film's release, no better time to write it.
Either way, it's public knowledge that she despises Incredibles 2 and the the direction Violet got in it by having her arc being a re-hash of meeting Tony again with less development.
Another thing the AMA also reveals is that she hates Amber Heard (though this one is already true since everyone in Hollywood can't stand her and that includes Disney.)

Moving on,I feel like one day I'll probably watch this film even though I know it isn't as close to perfection as the first movie, its like the sequel to wreck it ralph

That last part is completely fucking irrelevant to the thread.
And again, there is no evidence OR proof given of this alleged AMA, so stop trying to shove this into the thread. This isn't even the first time the thread has been revived solely to bash the movie with some rumors that have yet to be given actual backing.
In short, please stop.
Yeah let's end that little derail before it gets any further.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I feel like if they ever have plans to make third film and thus trilogy they'll probably either bring back Syndrome or go the Spiderman 3 route and give them two villains to fight

I had really hoped that the "World of Cars" spinoff series would save us from a Cars 3, but it didn't.
Still haven't seen that. Is it much good? It looks like it justifies itself more than Cars 2.
