Also, Hans is an asshole, Kristoff is sort of forgettable, and the rest of the cast has a big "Do not lewd" sign on them.

Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.

Funny you say that, the second-most popular pairing in the fandom is reformed!Hans/Elsa. XD

[up][up] “Do not lewd” signs don’t exist. Haven’t you ever used DeviantArt?

There's also the fact that in any given fandom "most prominent female character / second most prominent female character" is always the biggest ship. The characters in Frozen are conducive to it (arguably, at least - I've always thought Elsa worked better as asexual), and there isn't really any other close relationship with Elsa for the shippers to latch onto. So lucky Anna gets to be it.

Plus, fanbases always conflate strong personal relationships that aren't romantic with romance, even familial relationships if there isn't anyone else.

Next is "most attractive male villain / most prominent female character," which would explain Elsa / Hans.

I always thought that Elsa/Jack Frost is the most popular straight pairing for her....

[up][up] Yeah, but Everyone / Jack Frost is a thing. That's more on Jack being evidently the most shippable character in animation history. Dude took the Harry Potter protags' place as the Champion of Crossover Ships.

[up][up][up] I dont think they'd be using that name though tongue (though now it makes me wonder, has Tom Kenny ever done any voices in any Disney movies?)

[up]He voiced Rabbit in the 2011 Winnie the Pooh movie (the role might stick since his usual actor Ken Samson has since passed away). While he does make some effort to sound like Rabbit, you can tell it's the same guy who voices Spongebob.

10 minutes into Mickey's 90th Spectacular and they glossed over Oswald as Mickey's predecessor.

I'd like to see Mickey and Oswald together in shorts in a plot-oriented capacity. Maybe as ultra-competitive disgruntled relatives.

I have to say, from what I have read in regards to the Darkwing Duck comic books, I am not entirely certain about what to believe is canon to the series anymore

[up] Darkwing has always had contradictory cannon, so I guess it's nothing new. (Just so you know, we will happily talk Darkwing Duck in the Ducktales thread, as well)

I've been thinking, since they seem to be creating animated shows made for the new streaming service, does anyone have any ideas for what properties they would like to see a series, particularly the more obscure ones that would never get one otherwise?

I would die (pun intended) for a series based off the Haunted Mansion, if only for the sake of having something other than the Crappy 2003 Eddie Murphy one we got, and every other attempt to revive it has been stuck in Development Hell.

They haven't done anything with Chip n' Dale in a long time. I can see a Rescue Rangers reboot being a hit as long as they find a different angle to approach it.

[up] I'm still not sure how they managed to get "crazy crime solving adventures" out of the two annoying chipmunks who are most known for tormenting Donald Duck.
