I think the problem with that is that we're already watching it. It's been pretty strongly suggested that most if not all of the fairy tales are fictionalized things that actually happened to Ozma and/or Salem and/or their lost race. The Two Brothers, The Girl in the Tower - we know the truth to these. The Four Maidens - we've been told this is true, but I'm guessing it didn't play out quite like the fantastical telling (in particular, I can't imagine Ozma did something as odious and foolish as introduce the four seasons to a preindustrial world). The Shallow Sea - we might have seen the truth to this one, but since it's not just mundane but downright boring, and I doubt Menagerie, to which there are Human-owned ships, is remote enough to be a fairy tale, I'm guessing the market is named for the story, not the other way around. The Warrior in the Woods and the Indecisive King are probably two of Ozma's incarnations, possibly the Settler and the God, respectively.

Since the RWBY fanfic is pretty damn slow, I have to ask.

Have you make your own chararter and if that case, of what tale or stuff have you based them?.

I've come up with a Large Ham octopus Faunas who's a Sinister Minister, who Alludes cthulu.

I don't mean where the Fairy tales are real, What I mean is like, a RWBY-esqe Show Within a Show with things like "Charachter with 4 personalities, each one controlling a different element, who alludes to the 4 maidens"

I have thinking in some ideas:

Two guys who are brother and are evil countpart of rwby and yang, based on the wolf of three little pigs(big wolf) and red riding hood(the little wolf), being the wolf brothers, the big one have blow you away with his ice breath and the other have a form of super acceleration(being something of a expy of soujiro seta).

a lion king based chararter who is gay to please the bara fans.

And now I imagine a team base on the four souvering of east asia mythology.

So now that Weiss returned to Atlas back in Volume 7, is it appropriate to remove the You Can't Go Home Again trope from her section on Characters.RWBY Team RWBY?

...why was it there in the first place? Reading the trope description, it looks like it's meant literally (not the way it's usually meant, which very much applies to Weiss now as well as then), and Weiss's arc was about not wanting to go home.

Hmm, come to think of it, it could be misuse after all. I've stricken the entry regarding Weiss from the You Can't Go Home Again page as a precaution.

Regarding fan characters...

Since we already have Bagheera and Shere Khan in canon, I thought, "how about adding Kaa and Baloo as Faunus?"

Faunus!Kaa would be woman, her Faunus trait being the spots that Disney!Kaa has and her Semblance being the hypnosis, also from Disney film.

Faunus!Baloo would be man, his Faunus trait being bear ears, and his Semblance... haven't really figured out that yet.

Kinda weird how the least popular Summer ship is the Canon one.

I think it's a mixture of not much information on it, and Qrow having such a close relationship with Ruby.

Random thought: Do you think Cinder, Emerald, and Mercury spent time at Haven to establish their cover? After all, they entered the tournament as Haven students and if no one had ever seen them before, it would have been suspicious.

Yes and that the spin off we need to see.

But then there'd be a villain's version of the Jaunedice arc, Mercury would have a spat with Cinder, Emerald would do little and Neo would probably have zero storylines.

When Shipping becomes more important then Narrative progression?

I literally checked up on this thread while looking at that video, to the extent that notions from that video I was about to post on this thread.

As I've said before, I was always expecting Blake and Yang to have a thing, at least from V2. I bought in between volume 4 and volume 5.

As I've said, as she repeats, Ren and Nora are oddly ambiguous.

And she links Nora asking if they're not dating, Ren saying so only for his own self-interest.

I agree with her. Blake and Yang have got to be confirmed, or not. If it's not a thing, that's fine. As she says "If they are dating, tell us. If they're not dating, tell us. Just tell us."

Once again I find myself agreeing with someone I normally don't. They need to stop beating around the bush and actually outright confirm or deny it already. Stop rattling the cage already or the accusations of queer-baiting will just increase. And definitely do it before they go to Vacuo, cause then The Bus Came Back for Sun and it will just restart the Ship-to-Ship Combat.

Cinder: Grrrh!

Mercury: What's the matter Cinder?

Cinder: It's that Cardin! He filled my gym bag with glue that little, that little... and I can't do anything or risk blowing our cover!

I think the writers messed up when Ruby started naming team attacks off of ship names. Shows like LOST, Red Vs Blue, One Piece, etc don't acknowledge the shipping.

What's peoples opinions on teams SSSN and CFVY and how much of a train wreck is to going to be having Coco and Sun trying to get along?

• Team CFVY: Like all of them with the exception of Coco, and only dislike her because of the arrogance and elitism she's displaying.
• Team SSSN: Love Sun, like Neptune, and Scarlet and Sage are still just "there" for me.
• Fully expect Sun's earnest personality to appear grating at first to CFVY before it eventually becomes endearing to at least Velvet based on one of the preview excerpts.

I've seen a few posts (mostly on the rwby wiki) and people are already on Sun's case because one of the preview quotes (that has no context mind) "Sounds arrogant"

They're alright, but I feel as though the book's gonna go Ron the Death Eater on Sun.

Team SSSN = barely appeared, Neptune was a flat character, you could write a book on people's issues with Sun but he's the only memorable one of the bunch.

Team CFVY = all flash and no substance in the show, but they got an entire spin-off book dedicated to them that I've yet to read.

Sun and Coco = Ship name would be... Espresso? Don't know, I guess they'd get along.

The previews do seem to have Coco looking down on team SSSN for being mediocre which her team doesn't defend her from when SSSN call her out for it But it also looks like the books going to compare (and hopefully fix) Coco's too controlling/arrogant leadership vs Sun's lax/negligent leadership
