it's nighttime. a ship sits becalmed upon the sea. its captain is worried, for supplies are running low and if the wind doesn't pick up soon, he and the crew will be in danger of starvation. he watches the sun rise, as the song starts to play. a breath of wind licks across his face, which soon strengthens into a heavy breeze. relieved, the captain and crew set sail for home, where their return is celebrated with a parade.

Blinded By Light

The heroes are sprinting through a subway, running across and plowing through increasing numbers of soldiers bent on squashing their rebellion. Soon they're surrounded on all sides. The heroes share their power amongst one another in order to be as strong as possible for the brutal fight for their lives ahead.

The protagonist finds themself walking through a field with no idea how the got there. Before long, they start crossing bridges over various rivers and streams, meeting alternate versions of themself as they go. As they make their way through the increasingly watery scene, they talk to some of their alternates about how they differ, none of them ever seeming to judge each other. As the conversations carry on, the protagonist figures out just what decisions each alternate took on their journey through life. Through this, the protagonist begins to understand how their own decisions affected their own life and made them who they are now. With that epiphany, the protagonist walks down one final long bridge into a bright light and back to the world they are familiar with.

The soundtrack to a Clip Show at the end of the first season in a fantasy series. A pair of adventurers from different worlds awaken in a forest where everything is larger than life. Finding themselves without any of their earthly possessions, they follow a path deeper into the woods. Following a sign's directions to a nearby town, they meet a pair of travelling scholars who seek to understand the history of the place and how people arrive there in the first place. After taking some time to rest and gather supplies in the town, which is full of interesting people, they set off on a journey of discovery. Their travels take them to wondrous places and daunting challenges. Every turn seems to bring more questions than answers, but that's what keeps them going. The four become close friends on their journey and eventually confront one of the local gods together. At the end of the episode, their discoveries lead them to a portal to another realm altogether and set off to see what's there, both in hopes of finding more answers and simply because it's there.

A force of mounted soldiers begin a crucial mission into the desert, seeking to storm a castle set up deep within the sands. They look out briefly upon the vast, golden wasteland before beginning their journey. They are besieged by rough, whipping sandstorms, but are not discouraged, their steeds galloping gallantly on. Eventually, they are engaged by enemy forces, and a skirmish occurs, but eventually, with the momentum of their swift attack, they manage to overcome their foes and proceed to the desert fortress.

Fearofdark - Hopeless Romantic

A military parade with mechs of every shape and size proceeds down the streets of the nation's capital. The latest tech is showcased, with impressive demonstrations of firepower, agility, and creative use of features to put on dazzling displays. The show's send off is an enormous firework which generates a huge, colorful explosion fired off from the largest mech.

Gorillaz - Aspen Forest

The soundtrack to a tutorial map in an open world game. It starts out as a peaceful forest that adds platforming elements as the player moves on, eventually resulting on a very surreal-looking area at the end. The tutorial exits into the equally strange-looking overworld, which contained all manner of odd rock formations and floating landmasses.

Kingdom Hearts III OST — The Final World's theme

A late-game level in a Kirby game that takes place at the top of a very high, snow capped mountain. One can also see an awe-inspiring view of the ground below.

A group a bioluminescent Fish People perform a ritual to take them to an underwater portion of the local Dark World. Once there, they find quite a bit more life than they expected. Excited, they begin searching for any signs of intelligent life. As they go deeper, they start finding ruins that resemble a mix of civilizations from their world. The ultimately decide to spend several weeks in the ruins in hopes of finding out who once lived there.

After being taken from their hometown by a mysterious portal, the protagonist finds themselves in another mysterious world that is beautiful but with a hint of danger.

In the first episode of an what at first appears to be an isekai anime, a party of adventurers in some fantasy world finds a portal... then it's revealed that it's one of several that appeared on Earth and world leaders have begun discussing what to do about them. The next scene is of a Stock Light-Novel Hero making a break for the portal seen previously... and being grabbed by a couple of guards who drag him off without skipping a beat. Among the unfazed onlookers, a UN observer comments that it's is the third time this week that someone's tried that.
