Well I assume Mario sleeps in his house. Or maybe he's got some, uh, arrangement with Peach, who knows. It's pretty unclear.

As for Hat Kid.umm.....in a giant hat? I dunno okay.

In a very comfy and cozy bed, on his side, covered in blankets. He sleeps with a teddy bear, too, but don't tell anyone.

In his bed, I forget what it looks like. Knowing that place it's probably full of spikes or has teeth, or at least is all black and spiral-y. He probably gets up in the middle of the night a lot with new ideas.

He doesn't, he just huddles against the walls and tries to collect his thoughts, I'm guessing.
