Nickelodeon Fighting Game?

I agree. If this game is ever made it should only have real Nick characters, not ones from licenses they bought.

One of the most important factors that I feel would make the game of a higher quality would be if it was directly aimed at the Periphery Demographic. Nickelodeon needs to acknowledge us, and because let's face it, we are the fans who truly appreciate Nicktoons, not the five year olds who watch New SpongeBob and Failboy and Chump Chump.

Hmm...

Needs more Waffle, Gordon Quid and Mr. Blik. The Gear could be the Level 3 Smash or something.

Also, a game like this needs to be filled to the brim with Kid Icarus Uprising styled Boss Banter and quipping.

What do you mean? Would it be just for the bosses, or for the playable characters as well? And I don't think that would suit a fighting game very well.

Thanks. While Tommy maybe the iconic, resourceful main character, a one-year-old most likely not fare well in straight up combat, and since Reptar is so popular, the upgraded Reptar Wagon concept makes the most sense to me.

If the Catscratch trio where to be playable, then their combat abilities should definitely draw from Gear while their designs and characterizations draw from Catscratch.

In my opinion, a concept like this utterly screams Mascot Fighter.

As much as I love Super Smash Bros' gameplay, I'd rather it go the Marvel Vs Capcom route, but then again, we could have both.

As for Tommy in upgraded-Reptar Wagon or Reptar himself, we could have both!

Why would Timmy and Jimmy be assist characters? They're the stars of their shows.

They aren't fighters.in any way, and this is a traditional fighter, not a Mascot Fighter.

And there is absolutely no way they'll ever have that many Dragonball Z fighters. If I wanted them in a crossover game, I'd buy Shouden Jump. I can understand wanted Red Ranger, seeing as Power Rangers would never get in a crossover fighter otherwise, but anime just doesn't go well with western animation.

They'd still work in a traditional fighter. Jimmy would use all his gadgets, and Timmy would use magic. I do not approve of the Guest Fighter options, mainly because that would make the game more like 'Nickelodeon VS Dragonball', and there are dozens of Dragonball fighting games.

Kitty but not Dudley? I haven't actually watched TUFF Puppy but that seems a bit dubious.

I forgot to.mention Po, XJ-9, Zim, and the rest of the Winx Club.

As for Assist Trophies... Ginger (As Told By Ginger) could toss pillows via a pillow fight, Pelswick could run fighters over with his wheelchair...

Anyone else has any ideas for Assist Trophies?

Catdog becomes a wheel and hits a downed opponent, Dudley Puppy claws through like a wild animal, Rico spits grenades, Jimmy heals the fighter a little, Sheen's ship tears things up, Snaptrap uses a slug launcher, King Julien does a flying kick, Shifu heals you...

The Chameleon makes the player invisible, Otis intercepts jump attacks, Fanboy and Chum Chum save the player from juggles by pulling them down, and Jorgen sends shockwaves.

Cat Dog being Assist Characters rather than playable?

EDIT: I just looked him up. Considering I haven't seen Hey Arnold in about 7 years, I must definitely not be a true Nicktoons fan for not remembering that. And did it occur to you that I may not have seen that episode?

Because he's Dino Spumoni!

D.Spumoni shows some combat ability, so maybe. Might save him for the sequel.

I just find it annoying when fans suggest some really, really, really, wierd character choices in their ideas. It makes the idea harder to sell. But again, I'm not familiar with the character, so maybe it's just me.

But anyway CTM, is this for the Smash Bros route or the Marvel Vs Capcom route?

The problem is that some people autism their rosters. "Hey, this would totally be better if this was a Nick/Cartoon Network/Disney XD/Nintendo/Microsoft/Kellogs/FOX Network/CNN crossover fighter! Imma gonna put erry character in!"

Seriously, it just turns into MUGEN after a while.

I'd limit my roster to Nick characters that are a) popular, b) cool, and/or c) can actually fight. And of course, some villains to add diversity.
