They are not user defined, its something set by steam and the devs. That is the only way they are allowed on the platform and are blocked in many countries. this message shows up even if you allow said content.
The Last Sovereign does have this tag btw.

If there's a question, review it. That's what the P5 are for.
The "over our pay grade" rule was never meant to be a straitjacket in the first place, as I understand it, just a guideline for the bad old days when nobody really knew what Eddie wanted out of the process.
I despise hypocrisy, unless of course it is my own.Again, what I mean to say is that, just because a game does not have an "adult" or "porn" tag doesn't mean it will automatically pass our review, but it should be taken into consideration when nominating it for said review, and may be taken into consideration by the P5 team at their discretion.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Either way, a work needs to pass or fail on its own merits (or lack thereof)?
Due note that the convo is about ‘The Last Sovereign’, something Steam and the game’s own devs are calling porn.
Re: ESRB/PEGI
Steam doesn't require official game ratings and Windows/Linux publication is completely unrestricted unlike consoles so a lot of PC Exclusives (especially indie stuff) on Steam aren't even rated.
"Adult only" isn't always synonymous with porn.
Keet cleanupYeah. It's definitely adult-only, but I don't believe it fits our definition of porn. Though a warning to reviewers: The first five minutes are the worst in the game, with three or four (text only) sex scenes in as many minutes. Kind of an R-Rated Opening deal.
Anyway, it's free even on Steam, so reviewing it shouldn't be difficult.
Incidentally, what's the etiquette for checking if a work we don't presently have a page for is appropriate for the site? I was thinking about Yuricam - Yurika's Campus Life, a gleefully ridiculous sex comedy that I think manages to pass under the Oglaf clause, but I thought I should check about here.
What's precedent ever done for us?A college girls-based ecchi series doesn't seem like it'd raise any issues for the P5. I would personally go ahead and make the page, and if someone flags it it'll be officially reviewed (though I don't know how active the P5 is/rather anything would even be done about it if it was problematic).
"A buddy is a buddy no matter how nutty."If I'm not mistaken it's by the same mangaka as Yuria 100 Shiki, and that got a "keep with cleaning" decision by the P5, so I'd say if it's on the same level of ecchi-ness as that then it shouldn't be a problem.
Is Nozomu Nozomi clean enough? IIRC, it's an ecchi genderbender about a young looking boy.

Reading that page, it doesn't seem that explicit.
Keet cleanupdisagree. it mentions underage people discussing other underage people as, and i quote, "masturbation material".
Migrated to Chloe Jessica! Is the original fanfic version of 50 Shades of Grey against the rules? It doesn't have a page, which I'm guessing is because it's too close to a straight-up lemon? I've never read it but it seems odd that such as well-known fanfic doesn't have a page yet.
It's titled Master of the Universe.
Keet cleanupI see two reports for Paraphore in the reports, and I agree it should go. It features extensive, graphic depictions of child sexual abuse meant to titillate the player, mixed in with other pornographic scenarios. No matter what artsy shell it hides in, we can't justify that being on the wiki.

"A buddy is a buddy no matter how nutty."Based on what I've read about it, I think it needs to go.
Are the first two Triangle Heart games more explicit than the last one? We currently only have the third one (the above link redirects there), but it's on Summary.Video Games.

Keet cleanupThe reason we have Triangle Heart 3 at all is because it spun off some series or other about a minor side character as a Magical Girl. We don't have the other two because nobody's made any pages about them.
I despise hypocrisy, unless of course it is my own.Yeah, the only thing people have been interested in with that series is that is where they introduced Nanoha, the MC's little sister, and her completely clean Magical Girl sidestory she had in it.
Said sidestory was used as a basis for Lyrical Nanoha. Also a lot about the first season's little quirks came from there like her heavily scarred Dad and why her big brother had so many girls around him.
The Sequel Displacement and Just Here for Nanoha is real.
Edited by Memers on Jun 4th 2019 at 8:47:31 AM
Yeah, I sort of figured we had a page on the third one because Nanoha was introduced in it, but I figured I should check.
Keet cleanupDo the Ryan Bane entries on Horrible.Musicians violate the content policy?
Keet cleanupReport for Amanda Waller
Axed because it's not related to P5. The page was cut already though.
If we do triple angel A Serbian Film, what will we do with the page? Leave it tropeless?

I don't know if the tags are still user-defined. I can say that ESRB (or PEGI) ratings are far more indicative of something we should review. Anything that is below "M", for example, in the US, is probably not worth looking at.
The tags can certainly be helpful in informing decisions, but are not reliable otherwise.
