Hmm...I'll probably do a brainstorm later, but the first caption that comes to mind for the "Wiki Visual Artist" badge is "paints the Trope Wall".

A little lame, but it's an initial suggestion.

A less witty one would be "created a trope page image".

• Wiki Visual Artist - 'True Art is Taxonomical'? :P (How many troper-made art pieces do we use, anyway?)
• Really active (and useful) in IP or TRS - ...is it bad that I really want to lobby to call this one 'Troperture Scientist'? Otherwise... 'Sentinel Taxonomist'? (Like a vigilante who's gone public? :P )
• Re-railing OTC threads - I'm thinking of some kind of pun on 'locomotive operator'. 'Rerailway Conductor' is the best that comes to mind right now though.
• Image Picking - 'Breaking and Redecorating'?
• Trope Repair Shop - 'Anarchitect'? ...no, that's stupid. Just 'Trope Repair Crew'.
• And I still support a 'Badge Oak' for horrible jokes. :P

In more productive news, here's a D-20 for all those D&D players out there:

Okay, here are some more:

• d20: The Troll swings at you with the stolen banhammer roll for a saving throw.
  • Game masters always keep a set of dice handy.
  • For the roleplayer who like a little...randomness.
• Sandvich: "Moist and delicious!"
  • "Eat me!" "Later..."
  • "Tropers/badgeless people/lurkers/haters are babies!"
  • "Entire fora are babies!"
• Donation Badges: Either has money to blow or eats shoestrings for breakfast.

Adding a couple links to the start/description area: Easy. And done.

Adjusting the list for adding descriptions: ...this might take a while.

Hmm...okay, time to suggest another small set of these, although only one will probably be accepted:

• Literature: Has a big enough book that it's a certified weapon.
  • An avid bookworm that had barrowed into the forum's soil.
  • Who needs pictures when you have paper/text?
  • Hardcover or paperback? The hardest choice since paper and plastic—although it's definitely paper.
  • The apple is only there as a paperweight.
• Video Games: Has a bad case of gamer's wrist.
  • It's not carpel tunnel; it's gamer's wrist!
  • When can we navigate TV Tropes with a joystick?
  • Wii would like to trope.
  • Don't throw this into the screen—again.
  • Got to love those pixelated llamas.
• Image Pickin': Can choose the right pics for a trope page easily.
• Music: Snap, snap, trope that hit on the radio!
  • Careful with that dubstep!

That D20 badge doesn't look like a D20. I mean, it's not like I could make a better one, but it's not very good.

Oh, and also, are we seriously accepting Bitcoins for this? I never heard of them until this thread, and I just did some research and it seems they're all but worthless and "the laughingstock of the Internet" as I saw it written somewhere.

Will that text show up as alttext when you hover over the badges? I really hate corny jokes, so I hope not.

Recommend having the facets distinguished by shading instead of lines.

I think it might look better from a different angle, although I'm not sure how easy that would be.

@Dark - I know you are, I'm just saying objectively it's not a very good image of a D20. There's a reason why I leave this stuff to the people who know how to do it - because I'm not good at it myself. Don't feel bad.

I'm working on a dice set myself. They're tricky.

Plus, I'm not experienced.

However, I am committed to getting something that looks good, because it's about time I did something productive around here...

And attempt #3.

Why don't you start with something simpler and work your way up? This is a good tutorial on pixel art. If you start with the basics you'll get better.

Eddie, will Heralds have to pay for a Herald badge, or will we receive them automatically? If the former, will Heralds be the only ones who will be able to buy that badge?
