@ Katrika: Nope – that's true of all the mods, for me at least. I remember seeing a thread where everyone was discussing the new avatars you got for your mod hats, but that was months ago and I assumed it had been discontinued.

The mod hat avvies still are in use. I think it's just that the pink background is the overriding visual element of a mod hat post, and the avvie isn't noticed as much. Incidentally, the mod hats avvies are not being switched.

^ Lord Nelson's hat, actually. Look at post 54. The avvie is stretched vertically, because it's matched to the size of the whatever avvie is currently in use, and Fighteer's Nebula is taller than my normal fox.

Let me expand a bit on that, Booky. It's not affecting the way anything works. We've gone over four hours with no one complaining about it yet, aside from some mild confusion over it not being 4/1 yet for people. On the whole, it seems to be amusing without being annoying or disruptive, and that, to me, is the hallmark of a good April Fool's prank.

To me, post 54 is by Madrugada, pink background, user title of "With Mod Hat On", and has Fighteer's normal galaxy.

Erm... that mod post still displays your Fighteer avatar.

In fact I haven't seen them use the mod-hat avatars in quite some time now.
