Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird are reuniting after 25 years to do a new Ninja Turtles comic in Summer 2020:
I wonder how many times the fourth wall is broken in the Nick TMNT series? (I do recall Raph making a comment regarding run time in one of the earlier episodes)
Has Rise ended?
It's currently in the middle of season 2, but we don't know about any future seasons.
It looks like YTV (in Canada) is airing the series finale of Rise Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Have they been airing the episodes before? Do they, by any chance, mean the season one finale? Are they really skipping straight to the end?
The fact that they don't have any actual episode listed means this might be a mistake.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Nearest I can tell, Season 2 just started, with three episodes so far. A finale already seems really odd.

It's a mistake. Updated information is saying the season 1 finale is airing on YTV. Sorry about that.
I was nervous, but skeptical.
I don't expect Rise to last two seasons regardless, though, given how it's being thrown around the schedule.
Here's an interesting piece of What Could Have Been:
According to Glitch Techs co-creator Eric Robles, Nick developed Foot Clan Origins back in 2015. It would've featured Hamato Yoshi and Oroku Saki (the future Splinter and Shredder) as orphaned street kids who founded the Foot Clan.
One can only imagine how the relationship between Hamato and Oroku would have inevitably gone sideways...
Would that have been a movie or a series?
It's been 3000 years…One of the things I like about the 2012 series is how Oroku Saki and Hamato Yoshi were raised as brothers, because it made the feud even more personal.
It might also have reminded me of Yukio Mashimi, Hamato Yoshi's adoptive brother in the 2003 incarnation, who 2012 Saki might have taken traits from.
In the newest Rise episodes, Raph runs into a group of three criminals, a blue one, a purple one, and an orange one, and they're voiced by Leo's, Donnie's and Mikey's voice actors from the 2012 series.

Not sure how related with the TMNT is this, but since they team up all the time, I might as well post it here:
Netflix announces they're doing an animated series based on Usagi Yojimbo: Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles
- This series will follow Miyamoto Usagi's descendant, Yuichi, in what sounds like a futuristic setting.
- Yuichi will be heading team composed of a roguish bounty hunter, a cunning ninja, an acrobatic pickpocket and a faithful pet lizard as they fight depth-charging moles, metal-tipped winged bats, and monsters from another dimension.
- If you're thinking this will connect with Rise...you might be disappointed because this is coming not from Nickelodeon, but Gaumont Animation, whose resume includes Atomic Puppet and F is for Family. Plus, it's going to be CGI as made by 88 Pictures of Trollhunters fame.
- In terms of crew, Usagi Yojimbo creator Stan Sakai is executive producing alongside Dark Horse Entertainment and Atomic Monster.
- Khang Le, whose references include Big Hero 6 will serve as Art Director on the series.
Seems weird they're making his descendant the protagonist. Its still cool that Usagi is getting a show in some capacity though.
Another month, other trending Rise of the TMNT action sequence brought you by the folks at Flying Bark Productions. This was from the recent Battle Nexus two-parter that changed some of the dynamics in the series.
Remember Chris Bradford from the 2012 series? He's back in Rise, as Kristoff Van Bradford and voiced by Peter Stormare.
Less Chuck Norris and more...Ken from Street Fighter it looks. Maybe a bit of Dolph Lundgren thrown in there.
People have been showing off animation from the show on social media the past few days, and well...color me impressed.
Honestly, as soon as I saw him my mind immediately jumped to Franz Rayner from The Adventures of Dr. McNinja.
Man this show has some incredible animation.
These folks are flexing so fucking hard.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I was thinking Jean Claude Van Damme.
I hope they can up their game for the Netflix movie.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).So the (possible?) series finale premiered tonight.
While it does feel like it rushes to the ending, I found it overall satisfying, and was surprised to see the fan theory I saw on Tumblr that Foot Recruit is actually Casey Jones confirmed.
Haven't really been able to keep track of this show since my main way of keeping up with shows is recap pages and such
Finally got to see some of the episodes.
It's amazing how these Turtles seem to dance between Adaptational Wimp and Adaptational Badass at times. The comedy focus definitely helps with the over the top action sequences. Hope this isn't it for Draxum, really liked him as a villain though Big Momma is awesome too.
Also, I know this comes up frequently with drills but did anyone get Lordgenome vibes when Draxum went to the surface?
