All-Purpose Bleach Fanfiction Thread

Kiyone, of all people? I mean, she's Hanataro's Lieutenant sister and all, but...

Well, considering that a surprising number of fics portray Hanataro as actually being secretly a complete Badass, I suppose one could pull some funny BewareTheSillyOnes with him. Sailor Moon style, coming in to save the day when Kiyone gets in over her head, and all the while Kiyone thinks the real Hanataro is silly.

Admit it, Hanataro playing Tuxedo Mask would be hilarious.

• Mars: ??? (I'm almost tempted to have Ishida here, due to the bow. For the lulz).

• Mercury: Nanao.
• Moon: Kiyone (so she can be shipped with Hanataro :P )
• Chibi Moon: Yachiru.
• Saturn: Nemu.
• Uranus: Tatsuki.
• Neptune: Um.... Rukia? Dunno, drawing another blank here.
• Pluto: Unohana.

On another note, what do you think would be a good name for the Resurreccion of a King Arthur expy Arrancar? Or more specifically, an expy of Arturia/Altria Pendragon?

Something related to Caliburn, Excalibur, or Avalon, obviously.

Yeah, well, they're a little too obvious as name choices, and pretty much none of the three are differently spelled/pronounced in Spanish, as opposed to something like Pantera ("Panther") or Águila ("Eagle"). Besides, I'm trying to reserve those particular names you mentioned for specific Resurreccion abilities.

Not really sure, but I don't really like Arturia. Nero Saber is far better, despite having a similar backstory.

Heh, funny what a missing letter will do. "Hanataro's Lieutenant sister", when I meant "Hanataro's Lieutenant's sister" (yes, I know they're sisters, and not Hanataro) :D

I decided upon Caballerosa (feminine form Spanish for "Chivalrous") for the Resurreccion's name, since chivalry is rather central to King Arthur's modern take, and especially for Fate Stay Night's Saber.

Not a bad choice. On top of being Chivalrous, "Caballero" is how one refers to Knights in Spanish as well (it comes from "caballo", horse, so it refers to the horse and the ones who rode them - peasants went on foot!).

Depending how you feel about IncrediblyLamePuns, you could call it Dragón, and make the release be "Write, Dragón!"

... Did I mention that the kanji gloss for this Resurreccion is "Dragon-Knight Supreme King"? For the record, she's supposed to be one of the more ancient Vasto Lorde-class Arrancar, and releasing gives her knight-style armour with both draconic and leonine Animal Motifs.

I'm presuming that Not-Arturia is a villain, due to being an Arrancar, right? Probably a Knight Templar, in keeping with her being Lawful.

Not necessarily. She does start off an enemy to the Gotei 13, but only because they have yet to adapt to the idea that not all Arrancar are Always Chaotic Evil (case in point: Nelliel and her Fraccion); funnily enough, at the same she also starts off as an ally of Ichigo, because of him taking up the good Arrancars' side putting him at odds with Knight Templar Yamamoto.

I'm still convinced that Arturia's more Lawful Neutral than Lawful Good, myself. But maybe the UBW or HF routes will be an Author's Saving Throw.

Has there ever been a humor fanfic with a 'New Outfit Rule' premise for Bleach? I kinda have an idea for an oneshot dealing with a Shinigami Uniform Change and the Reapers' reaction to it, but I don't want to bother if it's already been done.

I've never come across anything of the kind. That would be a funny story.

I recently came across a Bleach/Fate Stay Night crossover fic titled Stitches. It's only got one chapter so far, but it looks like it could be pretty good.

I'd like to recommend The First Guardian. It's... somewhere between Methods of Rationality and Shinji And Warhammer 40 K, applied to Bleach. I'm really not sure of how to better describe it, but I promise it's pretty good. Or well-written, at the very least.

You know what would be hilarious (in the vein of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Commando hilarious)?

Teresa of the Faint Smile becoming a Hollow.

Yeah, that would be ironic-hilarious... which would then turn to Epic Awesome once she ascends to Menos class, goes all the way to Vasto Lorde level, and then Shinigamifies into an Arrancar.

For the harem question... either Ichigo becomes to time management what Kira, Lelouch, and Batman are to planning/strategy, or everybody has to move to Soul Society.

Currently rereading few chapters of Uninvited Guests and man, it never stops being funny.

"I sought to destroy your precious teeth, leaving you unable to chew! Then you would not be able to eat anything, and since the average Japanese diet includes a large percentage of seafood, all the fish you didn't get to eat would be MINE! I would be the best-fed talking hallucinatory cat in all the land!"

The last line has to be the most gloriously cracktastic lines I've ever read.

Uninvited Guests is one long string of continuous Cracktastic Hilarity (sometimes crossed with Epic Awesome), yes.

Dreamed last night that Kenpachi wound up in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing. Relena tried talking to him about Absolute Pacifism.

It somehow ended with Kenpachi fighting a mecha battle with Master Asia and Char Aznable.

<trying to not tear his own hair> WHY CAN'T I HAVE INTRESTING/AWESOME/EPIC DREAMS LIKE THAT?! <sobs quietly in the corner> Heck, these last few years I dream very rarely, and it's always something inane and often very boring.

Sad thing is, I only remember how it started and ended.

But I'm sure hilarity must've ensued at some point.

Also, I distinctly remember that Char was piloting the Sazabi and that Kenpachi'd lost his Shinigami powers upon arrival in MSGW but said powers spontaneously turned into a Gundam that looks ridiculously like Kenpachi itself.
