Just saw the first episode. Looks like a hell lot of fun, I'm keeping an eye on this one.
Already a Thread dude.
Watch SymphogearActually this is the first Horizon thread. The other one has more posts though.
Follow me on tumblr!Might as well close one of them, then.
Watch SymphogearSorry about that, did not realize there was already a thread. The other thread probably has more posts because I started the other one after seeing the subed version and linked to it.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie! After watching episode 1, I think my feelings fall somewhere between "I want to rip out my brain stem" and "I want to watch more of this". Curious...
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialHorrible Subs finally released "their" version. Its probably from somebody else, mainly the people who are officially subbing it.
IS horrible using 10-bit subs now too?
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuHorrible/Anime Network so far has more accurate subs compared to Commie. There were several lines in Commie that were changed or were simply glossed over. They were intentionally vague, probably because the subbers weren't sure what they were saying and ended up making it up. Horrible/AN still had some flaws, mainly the "Kimi", which wasn't actually a name, but a girlish Japanese word of saying "you".
To sum it up: if you're going to torrent, go for Horrible.
To quote Belian: "WTF DID I JUST WATCH?"
I swear that seemed like a big grab bag of an anime. There's two, very close angels, an Indian guy who fights with curry, a perverted robot, an incubus, and a very idiotic main character, among others. I'm curious how the rest of the season's going to pan out.
Follow me on tumblr!Hmm... licks Kyou Sen with his eyes....
Hmm... Taste like Nanoha, but isn't quite there. Another Magitek and military anime.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuYou forgot the slime.
I enjoyed episode 1, but it was pretty confusing.
There's also a pervert Ninja who is friends with pervert robot, two spear-type knights and several mages who seem to buy magic than use mana(I dunno, I got then from reading Aho's subs)...
edit: In ned of Brain Bleach. I can't forget the breastkneadtheteachermoment.....

...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuHeh, so her name really was "Kimi". My mistake.
There's only one spear-type knight; the other one uses a chain. She used one in the opening, and Kimi even asked her why she isn't using one now. There's also the fat farmer, plus a good looking woman with a very heavy cyborg hand.

Huh? I thought there were two: One engaged the teacher in melee, then there was the other one who is at odds with the girl with Gag Boobs.
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuYup, I was talking about the second one. In the opening she used a chain.◊ That's probably her primary weapon; the gagboobs girl was asking why she wasn't using it.
Ah, ok....
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuTo be fair the first episode alone just threw, what, 20-30 characters at us. It'd be tough to recognize them all.
#IceBearForPresidentAnyway, obviously I couldn't understand it all. What I could understand is, one of their childhood friends, "Horizon", is dead. Make of that as you will.
Supposed to be dead. But then we have been shown someone in battered robes wandering what supposed to be a hostile environment, with her face covered.
I just love how this show threw us a pie and says "But wait! There's more...".
...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuSo apparently, those two angels are confirmed to be lovers...
Sources: /a/, /u/, gamefaqs...
Fine fine.

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon aka Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere
I'm surprised there isn't a dedicated topic for this.
I know due to licensing that the official subs won't be available until tuesday but seeing as I've already watched it I'll my impressions on it. Its an After the End anime set in the far future. So yeah, the "after the end" part doesn't really matter considering they're living on a Macross sized ship flying over ancient modern day cities long overgrown with vegetation.
Also, there's a huge abundance of boobs.
Anyways, our heroes: what seems to be two classes worth of characters, although I read they all belong to one class. Winged Humanoids, robots, an Incubus, a Poring, a cyborg ninja....well, here's a picture.◊ Anyway, they have live-fire exercise and proceed to display all the advances in combat technology.
Lots of jellies were bounced in this episode. Somehow, this made me feel really happy.
There's a huge gulf between architectures as well. On one hand you have the ship, a high tech engineering marvel as it sails through the sky, its engines making "waves" of energy as it moves. On the other hand you have most of the people living contently on the ship inside their wooden houses straight out of Samurai X or Muramasa.
Anyway, obviously I couldn't understand it all. What I could understand is, one of their childhood friends, "Horizon", is dead. Make of that as you will.
EDIT: Thanks for the info. I checked and you're right.
