Yeah, but their calculations were pretty funny, so we should let it pass.
Plus, to be fair, Peach has been fully playable far more often, and probably has more feats to measure.
Zelda tends to get taken out of the plot almost immediately so that Link will have something to do she can't fight alongside Link until the very end.
So far, there's only Super Smash Bros., The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks and Hyrule Warriors for her feats.
The first is non canon to Zelda (though it probably still got used back then due to the Amalgamation rule, the second one sees her not in her original body and so isn't her standard move set, and the last one predated when the fight was written and is not part of the series timeline (which to be honest doesn't matter if you just ignore the timeline, which has probably caused more trouble than it's worth for a while now). There's also the fact that there's multiple Zeldas across three different timelines who all reincarnate, so there's no 100% consensus on what their abilities would be.
I admit, I'm curious as to what the result would be if they redid the fight now with some of her new playable actions into account.
One Strip! One Strip!Zelda’s best feat is probably from BOTW, where she held back Ganondorf for a hundred years, then was the one to finish him off. Peach still wins, but it’s a bit closer then it was before.
Hah. That's true.
If the narrative wasn't so hell bent on keeping her out of it, she'd probably be a beast.
I'm pretty sure Nintendo is Genre Savvy that if they made Zelda fully playable, people really wouldn't bother playing Link.
One Strip! One Strip! It never occurred to them that Zelda could just transform into Sheik did it?
New theme music also a boxWell, while I'm sure people would be ok with playing as Sheik (or Tetra) I'm sure quite a few want to actually play as Zelda herself.
Hyrule Warriors has all three (with Tetra being a separate character from Zelda, who is herself and Sheik), but I don't know. Would that mean that Zelda can only be useful by pretending to be someone else?
One Strip! One Strip!Probably, considering how in both cases she was taken hostage almost immediately after changing back into Zelda. Though Tetra still hit some bumps in the road while trying to dissociate from being Zelda as much as possible, so... I think it's more a matter of you being cursed the instant you out yourself as Zelda to literally anyone.
But hey, there was that one Zelda that saved Hyrule on her own.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaThey said that all abilities that Sheik/Tetra have are available to Zelda, so she didn't need to transform into either of them.

KARAS vs GARO Death Battle, anyone?

Watch SymphogearShould be noted that the Zelda in question was a composite Zelda. Season 1 was under Death Battle's old rules, so Zelda was an amalgamation of all Princess Zeldas from every continuity.
It's unfortunate for Zelda that the fight came out two years before Hyrule Warriors, because the non-canon Dynasty Warriors spinoff would be totally fair game under the old "Strongest possible interpretation of the character out of every official product the character has ever appeared in" ruleset.
Modern ruleset makes using Link and Zelda trickier, because they would have to dictate a specific Link or Zelda. Peach, meanwhile, has the benefit of having been the same character throughout all of her games, so she'd get access to every feat ever performed in a Mario game by "Princess Peach".

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.By Karas and Garo, I'm guessing you mean the titular character of Karas and the new badass villain from One Punch Man?
It's been 3000 years…Nope, The titular Golden Knight, GARO.

Watch SymphogearCan't help but wonder where they got that model for Ganon. I don't recall seeing that classic version of him outside of the 2D games, since the 3D games tend to portray him as a lot more bestial.
Also, does the word "megido" mean anything? Because that also happens to be the name for the line of Holy-elemental spells in the SMT franchise, and I'm thinking it can't be a coincidence that Dracula's Holy attack also uses that name.
They made it,its possible
New theme music also a boxIt's from Smash
Megiddo is an ancient city where the end of the world is supposed to begin. Megiddo is actually where we get the word Armageddon.
Har Megiddo -> Armageddon. And Har Megiddo just means Mount of Megiddo.

Forever liveblogging the AvengersThey still factored Hyrule Warriors in for Ganondorf, so why wouldn't they use it for Zelda?
The second they said Megido, I knew it was a wrap for Ganon
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Because Ganonforf is canonically the same guy every time, while every Link and Zelda are reincarnations but otherwise different people, I'd imagine.
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805Was Hyrule Warriors actually considered, or just used for footage? Big difference there. I don't really remember, which is why I'm asking.
Also, I don't believe HW Ganondorf is the same person from Ocarina onward. That game takes place in its' own canon, I believe, and brings in the actual canon characters from the existing main timelines into its own world.

For Death Battle's analysis, at most they used Hyrule Warriors to backpedal in the whole "punches with dark magic" stuff from Super Smash Bros. but otherwise didn't pull any feats from it.
The prediction blog did consider HW fair game, though.
🏳️⚧️she/her | Vio Rhyse AlberiaIt's more likely that they used the spin-off rule for Hyrule Warriors. As long as it's something that the "main" Ganondorf can plausibly do, they use it.
I recall the Zelda vs. Peach fight being one of their more controversial fights from the first season. I think the biggest issue people had was that they included dubious feats from Mario Strikers to calculate Peach's strength (i.e., her ability to kick a soccer ball so hard it splits into three separate balls).
