Think the wrong term was used and Hot-Blooded (or something like that) was what was meant.

But what's the context here?

The new game's page on its wiki says "Four characters are set to appear as DLC after release, one of them being a Season Pass exclusive."

Aw damn, so there really is going to be pre-order DLC. Ah well.

I hope it's not Cervantes at the very least, but I totally be cool if it was somehow Hwang.

Not preorder DLC, season-pass exclusive DLC. As in, something you can't get without buying the whole season pass. In this case, a whole character. A nightmare for piecemeal DLC purchasers.

Well I still stand by what I said earlier.

Don't be quick to believe that DLC info. I looked at the Wiki page, and there's no citation. And searching Soul Calibur VI DLC turned up no collaborating evidence. There is definitely going to be DLC, but the amount is unknown, and the fact about the Season Pass exclusive has been unmentioned.

Nothing is real until release. Or until Word of God says something.

Huh. I had forgotten about that. That's a shame. Hopefully that Season Pass character is just an early in-game unlock, because otherwise... Ooof.

So now we know that, while the time travel initially takes us as far back as the original Soul Calibur, that several years pass and the game also covers the events of Soul Calibur 2.

Never really played Talim beyond getting her ending in story mode so I am neutral about the whole thing. I just knew she wasn't going to left behind a second time.

Most of the characters I like have already been confirmed so I am really only waiting to see if Seong Mi-Na will be in the game.

If Talim's back and we know the game covers Soul Calibur 2, then the three other characters who were introduced in that game - Raphael, Yun-Seong and Cassandra - are now even more likely to show up.
