... I fucking miss Talbain...
Point is, Darkstalkers is fucking weird, and that's wonderful.
Lilith's Gloomy Puppet Show super.
And how is it a "rhythm mini game"? I've looked at a video clip of it, and I can't see anything relevant in it.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. It's unclear because of the quality of that video, the buttons on the screen are supposed to be flashing yellow in a pattern that you have to repeat a couple times in time to the music.

@Marq: You think you're bad? I just resort to button-mashing and hope it works.
.....a lot of the time, it does.
Yeah, that's how I managed to beat the arcade versions of KOF96 and KOF97 as a kid... with a side order of spending a lot of money on tokens for continuing every time my whole team got beaten in the later (and thus tougher) matches, particularly the boss battles.
This is one reason why I adored Dead or Alive when I got my hands on the first two games over a decade ago: Not only were the command inputs much simpler at the very acceptable cost of requiring more buttons pressed overall, and not only do the input commands themselves translate into actual attacks that logically serve as a prelude to the actual move they're to lead into (i.e. the commands actually do something useful in their own right in the battle, even if I end up ultimately botching the input), but there's an actual tutorial that shows me what I'm supposed to be doing for EVERY SINGLE MOVE for EACH CHARACTER and even gives at least one demonstration with the AI, and then tells me whether or not I correctly executed the required inputs when I give it a try (and it even keeps track of which tutorials I've managed to complete successfully!).

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Cross posting from the General Street Fighter thread:
There's apparently a Street Fighter Vs Darkstalkers comic.
It was apparently supposed to come out some time this year, and Deviant Art has some preview pages feature The two most important ladies from both franchises.
I'd be legitimately shocked if I had to say which two.
One Strip! One Strip!Of course you don't have to. You're obviously talking about Q Bee and Maki.
"I'll show you fear, there is no hell, only darkness." My twitterJokes aside, it's rather intriguing that the artist went with depicting Chunli in a more "ordinary" Western outfit than we're used to with her, even if it retains her Iconic Outfit's dominant colors (blue top, dark legwear).
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. Also, it might just be me, but she seems to lack the pillar thick Thunder Thighs that she's become known for as well.
One Strip! One Strip!Your Size May Vary isn't an unknown issue for such charachters. Unlike Morrigan, she doesn't get a full-body shot in which the artist presumably would pay extensive attention to detail and accuracy.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Morrigan is one of my favorite female characters of all time.
Udon just proves me right.
It helps that that she's actually a rather nice lady when not soul stealing.
Watch Symphogear
Yeah, she's a a vamp without being evil.
If you can't fit Chun-Li's head inside each of her thighs at least five times over, they're not big enough.
Never been a fan of her legs being that big (despite getting the fact that she should have powerful legs and all; I just think they don't need to look like tree trunks and that there's a happy medium that the artists seem incapable of finding due to have to slate their own fetishes).
One Strip! One Strip!Eh. You're not wrong, but that's the joke, pretty much. They're all someone's fetish. I'm not sure minimizing one person's fetish while drawing a comic where Morrigan fights Chun-Li is really all that much different, or better.
What?
What other fetishes are there?
I want documented proof of this. Because I won't regret it at all.
One Strip! One Strip!Morrigan is my favorite female fighting game character...might actually be my favorite female character in gaming period. I was spellbound when I first saw her at a darkstalkers arcade machine in a pool alley my dad/gramps used to play at. She was my main in Mv C 1 as well, alongside Spidey.
The first time I saw Morrigan was in Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes. I'll admit right here and now that she was the one character I played as the most, simply for the fact that I was enraptured by her Stripperific outfit... not that anyone around me knew that for certain, though. It helped that 1) I was really good at kicking my brothers' and cousins' asses in the game with her (though we always used the simplified controls that let us use supers with a single button click rather than a complex combination), and 2) I was more than willing to play with other characters often to obscure how often I played as Morrigan (it helps that most of them were characters that I like).
Incidentally, Chun-Li was another frequent choice of mine in the aforementioned game... though it was mainly because I found her rapid-fire kicking attacks cool, given how relatively conservative her outfit was.
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
Yeah, Morrigan is really endearing due to her design and playful nature. It's no wonder she eventually pushed out Demitri as the main character of the series.
I always got the impression both were the major stars considering they're horror versions of Ryu and Ken with superpowers.
That is well. These days Morrigan is the Ryu of the series, while Demitri is the Ken.
Not to mention the Frankenstein's monster who can expand his butt to attack.
Or the succubus who's super is aa rhythm mini game.
Or Sasquatch in general.
