Anti Shipping Goggles works. It seems like the maker of this entry wanted a shorter name.
I had no idea what this was until now, but renaming it to the clearer Anti Shipping Goggles sounds good.

That being said, I am not particularly familiar with shipping tropes, so I was wondering if there is precedent/an explanation how such audience reaction tropes having examples fits into the mission of the wiki. That is not to say that I necessarily think that they should not have examples, just not I do not know the reason why they do. I apologize if that reason is blatantly obvious and I just missed it for whatever reason.

You know, Shipping Goggles is also a pretty small page. We could just merge them.
As this trope had a positive rename ratio of over 20:1 I switched it to an alternate names crowner. I added the only name I saw on the thread.

I was extremely disappointed by a pothole in Gay Bar Reveal recently. I went in expecting from the name a trope dealing with people who refuse to interpret obvious scenes except in a twisty way that fits into their own desires. Instead I got some shipping thing.
It's only really that one misuse I;ve found but it only has 17 wicks and once you strike off indices and "see also's" it doesn't have a lot and I would think that the actual behaviour is as common as Shipping Goggles. I think a name that indicates it is a shipping trope would help with its spread and stop any further potential confusion with a possible comedy or characterization trope.
Anti Shipping Goggles would do, if this does really have to be separate from Shipping Goggles.
