- Apart from the main Marvel Universe titles, Ultimate Spider-Man, Spider-Man "What If?" stories, crossovers, guest appearances in other books, Alternate Universe tales and things like Marvel's manga adaptations are all on-topic here.
- Spider-Man 'family' books are on-topic (as are their own crossovers, guest appearances etc.) - e.g. Spider-Man 2099, Miles Morales, Spider-Woman, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Venom, Carnage, Black Cat, Red Goblin and Spider-Verse.
- Characters and comics that originated in Spider-Man but are no longer directly connected to the spider-franchise (e.g. Punisher, Silver Sable) are not on-topic, unless you're discussing historical connections and crossovers. If in doubt, check before you write a long post. If this isn't the right place, there's a more general Marvel Comics thread
which covers them.
Technically, Marvel's Infinity Comics (and their predecessors, Infinite Comics) are webcomics, not comic books, but it's fine to talk about their Spider-Man stories here.
Discussions that are only about Spider-Man adaptations in other media (films, video games etc.) are off-topic, but discussing the differences between the adaptations and the original comics is fine - as long as spoilers for the adaptations are tagged.
Please follow the spoiler policy rules - tag spoilers for the latest issues, for any previews or content leaks, and for off-topic comics. When including spoiler tags, try to write so that tropers can make an informed decision before viewing them (e.g. which series and issue will they spoil?).

Anyone think Gwen was a bit of a dick to Peter in today's Ghost Spider? He was chaperoning her during her first day, she turns around and goes "we'll never be best friends, you're not my Peter and never will be", I'm like WTF?
I mean, he kinda did the same thing to her back in that Jackal event, but still.
I mean the jib was understood by them both, so I don't think its a big deal.

They are mutually in a weird situation where they're both an alternate version of a very important person who died tragically for the other.
Able to socially interact with at all is an accomplishment.

Superior Spider-Man #10 Spoilers:
God that was a rollercoaster and a half. It starts in the most quintessentially Spider-Man-y way imaginable, with Otto taking Emma swinging around the city, and going to visit the little boy he helped all the way back in issue 4. It's incredibly sweet and heartwarming, and really shows how much he has grown as a person. But naturally that can't last, so just as he and Emma are having a nice moment, a news bulletin on the television blares: "Is San Francisco Spider-Man Doc Ock?"

Well It is a video game, you can take liberties with character. That said, it's totally in character for Kingpin to murder someone's wife out of spite. But i don't see what the bomb achieves.

Deep down for all his faux-civility, Kingpin is a mad dog killer. That's true even of Miller's version.
And in any case, Kingpin in Spider-Man's corner was always a brutish, thuggish character at heart.

That version of the character is obviously some Hulk dude. I didn't care for Kingpin at all in ITSV. Mostly because I binged the Netflix Daredevil show with the awesome Vincent D'Onofrio as the best version of Fisk. I don't think Kingpin ever works as a Spider-Man villain. ITSV got around it well enough and at least altered stuff so that Goblin and Octopus are reduced to Fisk lackeys so it spelled out that this was a different and not a canonical take on the rogues.
Wouldn't be the first time villains like them were reduced to lackeys for Fisk.
