Team Fortress 2 : Despite having a potential to fight head on, Scout is NOT a frontal combat unit. Learn to take alternative routes, avoid bigger threats(Good Soldiers are likely to murder you with splash damage), move quick, meatshot some unlucky dude and HEAD BACK.
Devil May Cry 4 : Trying to block boss attack with Royal Guard style tends to end bad.
Persona 4 : You'd better spend some money on items curing ailments. You really should.
P.S Rather noobish question, how can I use bold and italic? Many thanks for an answer.

Big Grah''Italics'' makes Italics, and '''bold''' makes bold. Note that these are apostrophes, not quotation marks or grave accents (' rather than " or `).
When posting something you'll be able to see "show markup help" at two different places on the page; click either for more help.

Worms Reloaded: By default, Enter does not make you use your jetpack, and Space does not make you jump.
http://twitter.com/raydere | http://raydere.tumblr.comDragon Age: Enemy magi are top priority.
- Crushing Prison does not render Force Field obsolete. The two have different uses.
- Battledress of the Provocateur is light armor. Even if it's the best armor you have so far, equipping it on the party tank won't do your threat management any favors.
- When you're not in combat, turn Rally off. The effect radius is just the right size for the rest of the party to constantly slip in and out of it during a run around town.
- Tactics be damned, the AI will not let Leliana be an archer unless you take away her swords.
- If you want to use the Elfroot Level Grinding method, don't slaughter the Dalish.
- If you want to save Eamon's wife and child, don't side with the templars. Same goes for making money in Dust Town.
- When the Codex tells you to only take the cheapest trinket from each stash, either do what it says or kiss your supply of injury kits goodbye.
- If you're planning to romance only one character, watch your early conversations with the others, especially Zevran.
- When fighting the Harvester, ignoring the Fade switch will get you mobbed.
- It doesn't matter how ridiculously high you've pumped your Dexterity. The Harvester can still hit you.
- Before entering the Silverite Mines, strip the Warden naked, lest a bug eat your equipment.
Final Fantasy 1: Antidotes will save your life, buy them.
Poker Night At The Inventory: Strong Bad may like to bluff, but if he goes all in, he ain't kidding.
Pokemon Black And White: Just because Blitzle learns Flame Charge doesn't mean it can cover for your lack of a Fire-type.
- Natures and EVs can make up for a larger difference in base stats than you might think.
- Just because you have an opening to set up doesn't mean you should take it.
- Letting Shauntal's Cofagrigus give Archeops Mummy isn't actually worth trading blows, especially because Frosslass can force it out with Ice Shard.
- Shauntal is aware of the above and might just punish you on the switch.
Pokemon: Having four attacking moves will not win you the game. Also, NO! Stat changing and status inducing attacks are not useless.
Any RPG ever made: Just because one armor or weapon has better defence or attack does not make the old equipment useless. Sometimes the lack of defence or attack can be weighed out if the equipment has other uses. (ex. elemental resistence)
Mario and Luigi, Partners in Time: Up grade your armor. Not my mistake, but my girlfriend's. She said armor is useless and money waisting. I have no idea how she made it to the last area of the game
Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.Don't trade your starter for an overleveled Raticate before tackling Mt. Moon.

In the case of Sawsbuck vs Smugleaf, there can only be one. Sawsbuck won that and solo'd the Dark type leader

A corpse should be left well enough alone...Scout-and-snipe tactics save lives. Just make sure that the sniper is out of range of the alien, and that the scout is not in the line of fire...
On paper, auto shot is supposed to hit more often than snap shots. Many X-Com veterans swear by the auto shot. I must disagree with them, since I've personally noticed a great leap in accuracy, and thus, kill counts, by using snap shots.
Save Scumming breeds bad habits.

Unless this is about a specific Pokemon game, I got save files for Yellow, Crystal and Soul Silver that beg to differ.

The Protomen enhanced my life.- Fear the killstreaks. They will take you down if you are not careful.
- Knifing in the game is stupid and overpowered.
- The UMP is the most overused gun because it borderline broken.
- You need tactics to use the riot shield properly.
- I am not as good as Sandy Ravage, so I should stop trying to copy his style.
- Nukes are stupid.
- Everyone and their mother's are trying to quickscope.
- 50% of the COD community are 12 year old Nancys past their bed time.
- Explosives are deadly. Very deadly.
- The masterkey needs a major buff.
- Nobody works as a team online.
- The Spec op enemies that are called the Juggernaut's are the most hardest in the game for a reason. Do not let them get close or your dead. Simple really.

Another TDU2 lesson:
Classic cars will be an endless source of frustration for you because the first class of them you can access consist of cars that were made before the Audi Quattro came along. As such, they have crappier handling and the realistic torque modeling will cause you to spin out when turning while revving low on a high gear or whatever. Trust me, don't go for the Esprit or the Mustang.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific Mackerel"Unless this is about a specific Pokemon game, I got save files for Yellow, Crystal and Soul Silver that beg to differ."
To put a long story short, my first pokemon game was Red when it first came out. My Second was Platinum. If I recalled correctly, I won Red with just attacking moves. So I adopted that strategy to Platinum. While I did beat that game, it was extremely hard to beat the elite four and the champion with just attacking moves.
[On topic]Fire Emblem Po R:
Death IS permenent.
The earlier a character joins the party in the game, the better they are later in the game (for the most part).
The later a character joins, the less useful they tend to be (again, for the most part).
Fire Emblem RD:
All characters will be used in this game. Do not try to dedicate your exp to the first 20 characters like in Po R.
Just because a character gains bonuses for having the high ground, IT WILL NOT MAKE YOU INVUNERABLE!!!
Don't leave Aron in the back of the map for clean up duty. If trained, he will be better than all of your available units.
Never forge your own weapon for Ike. You will spend a lot of money and you will get Ragnell back.
Just because you have the hawk king in your party does not mean he won't do something stupid like attack the boss of the level who just so happens to have a VERY strong cross bow.

Don't make me fire Pinky's party cannon.- Portal 2:
- Look up. This will make puzzle solving so much easier. Seems like half the game is training you to do exactly this.
- Don't forget stuff you learned earlier in your enthusiasm to use new mechanics. For example, momentum.
HM moves, no matter how convenient, are not to be stacked on one pokemon.
Attack items are not more important than healing items.
I don't care what kind of streak you've got going or how far you feel like you've gotten in a dungeon, it won't matter if you die. Save early and often.
Never trust a computer with area of effect attacks in anything with friendly fire.
If you want to win, Shoot the Medic First.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all" Futurama, GodfellasBlaz Blue Continuum Shift: That green aura surrounding Unlimited!Hazama? It's poison, so STAY THE HELL AWAY.
Also: when fighting him in Story Mode with Ragna: Hope you've been practicing your basic combos, 'cuz your Drive attacks won't work. Period.

I hope you get tiny bits of eggshell in all your omelettes for the rest of your life!- For Minogame:
- If you can't get close to a boss without risking death, then use your subweapon attacks.
- Take advantage of your charged shot, which is a close combat weapon.
- Homing Lasers are one of the better weapons in Minogame's arsenal.
- In General:
- Understand the interface. It will confuse you at first, but don't worry, it'll grow on you over time.
- Identify items from bullets, since there are a lot of items to be picked up. You don't want to die from picking up a bullet.
- Segment 5 is where you should pick up the Life Items like crazy.
- BEWARE OF DAMAGING RUSTED DRAGON'S PARTS, AND RUSTED DRAGON IN GENERAL.
Vagrant Story:
- You should use all grimoires when you get them, or at least before fighting the final boss, because only equipment in both your inventory and container is shared between playthroughs.
- Also, use an elemental buffer instead of Prostasia as breaking through one of the enemy's elemental defenses (even if it's not the weakest or even close) is more important than strength, especially with the Gremlins, the Crimson Blades in Town Center East, the Last Crusader, and the final boss's second form.

Balance of all elements flows in the masters' bodies. To be a master, find the elements and fight the subconscious.
this one appleis to pretty much all RP Gs, including fangames of thsoe which aren't normally (Why do I mention that? well....)
Make sure to save BEFORE trying to fight a boss - you might lose quite a lot of prgoress.
F**K YOU, RUMIA! WHEN I GET BAKC EVERYHTING, THEN THERE WILL BE RIP AND TEAR! RIP. AND. TEARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
...Yeah, I think you can guess why I bring up fangames in this psot.
