Ahh, console video games (or vidcons as I call them). the ultimate medium of expression, able to convey any emotion ranging from hatred to love, loyalty to fear, all in front of our eyes. Ah, and with lovingly crafted art, music, and the ability to control the action, vidcons are the ultimate combination of the high arts. While I tend to play the stoic, I will be the first to admit that vidcons haven driven me to cry, to scream and shout, to feel actual hate; such is the power of this force beyond our wildest reckoning. And here I am, before you, to temp your tongues with the taint of such a tantalizing topic.
And the Japanese, the true geniuses behind the world of video games. Pah, I throw my scorn upon such incompetents of the West who would mock the true art of the Japanese with 'games' such as Baldur's Gate and Madden. Perhaps it is that the West is not as intelligent as the East, but this is a matter for another day. Japan has given us such masterpieces as the Final Fantasy series, Star Ocean, Wild Arms, and of course, Arc the Lad. Yes, some of the finest vidcons in the world were created by Japanese. I come to you today to ask you in all earnesty, what is your favorite vidcon? I will reveal mine after the grand debate has illustriously begun, but not before the first poster falls victim to my plot of discussion.
In other words, this is a thread on an imaginary forum our avatars frequent. The topic can fluctuate, and its mostly just general discussion.
Well, my dad is not even the worst out of my family's history. My ancestor, Nathaniel Northwest, was a horrible fraud and was actually responsible for dozens of deaths in order to cheat his way up to the top. And my dad tells me that those actions are something he exalts Nathaniel for. (*Shivers*) Well, it makes sense for him to do so considering he's just like him.
Well, I'm glad you're nothing like your father or your ancestor. As for me, I never really had a horrible family member, recent or not. I consider myself lucky on that account.

"I wonder what beautiful songs I can sing today?"[1] I have three possible explanations - there may be more that I'm just missing:
-The humans are putting their own economic/social interests over the interests of others
-The humans are stroking their own ego and need someone to belittle
-The humans don't know any better
Neither of which really portray humans in a good light. Welp, we are flawed after all, and the least we can do is to try and mitigate our flaws.
You seem like a pretty chill Doll, by the way - feel free to visit the SS Nomad sometime, if you ever get the chance.
This goes off-topic, but in my homeworld, "dolls" are small toys, typically for girls, and they typically look female, albeit with skewed body proportions. Does such a thing exist in your homeworld, and if so, what's it called?
"What I don‘t like about measure theory is that you have to say 'almost everywhere' almost everywhere." - Attributed to Kurt FriedrichsI appreciate it! Now if the people in my world can stop fighting each other for a moment and figure out interdimensional travel...
Oh, they're also called dolls here. We got our names from the toys.
After all, Dolls are meant to be facsimiles of humans, created to provide companionship for their owners.

To be honest, living in the Ark is not perfect to say the least, but we do fight for humanity in spite of such faults, especially as our commander is not like most of the humans here, treating us and caring for us like actual humans.
By the way, Cinn (if that’s your name), obtaining such a document would spell trouble for us if the Ark’s central government would find out what happened. I’m just being concerned for you.
Considering the weirdness of this forum, I think we should be fine, but we must be cautious about such things. Cinnabar is my full name if you’re wondering.
Yo buddies, still tropin’?Hey, that sounds like my Commander too! What are the chances of them being the same person in different universes?
Lovepilled and Hopemaxxing
That would be an interesting coincidence that your commander is as kind ours…
Though I assume most humans treat Dolls like you badly as well?

Yo buddies, still tropin’?(x7)
Well, if you ever feel bad about your upbringing, you could always meet my folks.
I mean, my father always used to say: "If Providence hands you a convenient, powerless scapegoat, it's a sin not to use him." He was complicit in the deaths of hundreds.
(OOC: The quote is canon, BTW.)
Speaking of family: I wonder if our intelligence has found any hints as to where Tweedle is hiding.
(x3)
Honestly, that's the mindset I've tried to adopt. I know that humans here can be cruel to artificial beings, be they clanks or constructs (AKA: mechanical and biological creatures respectively), but my father and I have tried to treat the intelligent ones as thinking people like the rest of us. We've even adopted some abandoned ones into the empire's service.

Please visit the "AITA" forum gameWooks wike wintah is twying to come back, it's snowing again.
It's not uncommon for a few snowy days in March lil Milktchi, things are going to get a little sunnier later this week though.
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live![1] It's a problem that Exotic Ventures experiences, too, albeit in a lower capacity. Despite all our transparency and attempts at keeping up a good image, there are still some individuals who think they're better than us just because they're organic humans - most of the time, those individuals themselves don't even contribute a lot to their own society. Our approach with them tends to be "We do a little trolling". SCW might have a concrete idea on what that looks like, but other than that, I'll leave it up to your imagination.

"What I don‘t like about measure theory is that you have to say 'almost everywhere' almost everywhere." - Attributed to Kurt Friedrichs[1] Most Doll owners treat us like appliances who can talk back. The worst see Dolls as job-stealing piles of scrap. Humans who accept us like one of their own isn't unheard of, but they're a minority.
That said, I found humans to be more friendly when I'm on duty. Probably because of the gun.
Always good to hear progress, even if it's not happening where it can affect me.
I actually don't! Doesn't sound like it will end well for the other guy, though.

I heard once that snow in summer was a bad sign but maybe it's only a superstitious theory.
Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live! Now that I think of it, these Dolls remind me of Van Rijn's Muses. You're very intelligent and, so it seems, very well-crafted too. Whoever designed you must be a genius.
Everyone around me saw the Muses as "just clanks," even though I could tell they were thinking creatures.
(*Sigh*) I hope Tinka and Moxana got out of there . . .
Actually: SCW, assuming it's not some kind of state secret, do you have the blueprints of the T-Dolls? That sort of engineering is right in my wheelhouse, and I'd probably find the mechanics of the Dolls very interesting.

Please visit the "AITA" forum game[1] I remember I once used to be called an abomination of science. Opposition to robotics and AI was far more organized in the form of the luddic church. They were also against any non earth originating life though that tended to just mean human supremacy.

I look to the stars... but that's mostly because there isn't anything else interestingOriginal account linked to Channel found. Connecting…
Wait, original account? What’s this now???
Account mFoulke07 connected
So that’s what this old PDA has been up to, huh?
I wasn’t expecting many characters to access my account here, but I don’t mind. I was busy with a lot of missions.
Wait, who are you then?
Well then, the name’s Foulke, Morgan Foulke.
OOC: Say hello to my OC, ladies and gents…
Yo buddies, still tropin’?[1] I'll list some of my favourites, then:
- Putting a decently difficult puzzle lock on the front door. Most people jump out the window in order to leave the house, but that's part of the fun
- Sending them body pillows with a print of themselves on them. Sometimes even partially undressed.
- Styrofoam blast!
- Replacing their car with a car-shaped shell that has a bicycle inside. Hell, we're doing them a service.
I was referring to an offer a while ago where Icarus would be visiting the universe of GFL and improve general quality of life, and playing pranks on anyone who tries to exploit the new QoL features. I can retcon that out again, though
Oh, you must be the account's owner! Welcome.

Gonna go work out at the gym. Having a good exercise should help me feel refreshed.
Great. Always good to get that energy flowing. Probably gonna do the same thing too, while I'm at it.
"I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - Iris[1] Have fun at the gym Pacifica! [2] "Abominations" huh? Reminds me what the citizens of Townsville thought of my sisters and I before we became heroes that save the city on daily basis.
It's pretty jarring how darker it started for you (Buttercup). At least those people wised up after the three of you took out Mo-Jo Jo-jo in his prime.
Damn, they shouldn't have think so ill of something that's alien to them unless it's actually problematic that can't be reasoned with.

Meet the Tamas!◊ Can't let any of those suckers live!Razorbeard logged in.
All you robot talk remind me of why I used to go around and conquer whole planets to enslave their inhabitants with my army. You can't be treated as an abomination if you put fear in those fleshies' hearts.
Okay, so I'm currently in one of those Galarian caves, training with my Pokémon.
That's cool. How is it going?
Going good so far- (*gets carried off by a Aerodactyl*) GAH!!! Get off me! Get off me!
Marnie? Marnie? Are you there? Are you okay?
(*A minute passes by*)
(*panting*) I'm okay, thank goodness. That Aerodactyl didn't get very far and I was able to catch it successfully with an Ultra Ball, so that's a plus.
You're not hurt, right?
Nah. Just a few scratches, that's all. Quite shaken by what just happened, though.
"I usually specialize in Dragon-types, but now I'm a fairy and specialize in Fairy-types. See the irony?" - Iris(x2)
Nah, they'll still treat you like an abomination. They'll just be too scared to protest that. They'll hate you all the same.
The way I see it, he winning strategy is to find people who are fine with you being abomination.
Well, I was still fine with them being too scared to call me that. In fact, I kind of loved it. And I didn't care one bit that they hated me, since they were all enslaved and imprisoned. Too bad that my entire army and plans for conquest are ruined now. Maybe if I did follow your strategy, it wouldn't have happened. I did let them hate me until one limbless guy freed himself from us, and they all helped him defeat me.

Another alternative is maintaining good PR... I'd imagine that must be kinda tough for you, judging by your previous behavior here.

Woah, sounds like you got it bad Pacifica.
At least you got a plan for the future, my dad is a little wacky sometimes (moreso than I am) particularly in his decision-making but he's still a good guy at heart.
