I didn't even know that Weregeek and Darths And Droids existed before I found this place.
Also sort-of the same for House Of Leaves. I read the page for it (though not the tropes, for paranoid fear of spoilers) and I really want to read it now.
"We're home, Chewie."i found DMFA through reading the wiki
formaldehyde-dronepeanut was the best poster :3JAGS Wonderland and Bliss Stage recently!
Blue-and-Orange Morality! It's my new favorite trope! Also, it's my signature trope! It's also going to be my Catchphrase!I found The Ten Doctors and Chameleon Circuit
Mainly Discworld and Homestuck.
Oh god thank you TV Tropes. :D

Complicated - because simple is simply too simple.TV Tropes was one of the factors that got me into watching anime back in 2010. The first three I watched (MOHS, Gurren Lagann, Lucky Star) were selected primarily on the basis of their prominence on this site.
Join my forum game!Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Well, I didn't exactly discover the show through the wiki, as I had watched most of the first season and some of the second when it was still on TV. But I wouldn't have gone back and caught up on everything I missed after that were it not for the show's Trope Overdosed-ness.
I'm currently working my way through Katawa Shoujo because of this wiki - it's also my first Visual Novel ever.
Earth is the only planet inhabitable by Nicolas Cage.Daria, Futurama, Drawn Together, and Animaniacs. I was vaguely aware these things existed, but the wiki actually got me interested. And by "vaguely aware", I mean that I'd heard of Daria and Drawn Together, saw a couple minutes of "Obsoletely Fabulous" and watched about half of "Wakko's Wish".

The new Lemony Snicket series.
And so much more
Luminous beings are we, not this crude matterThe works of my man Brando Sando
The Dresden Files
Avatar: The Last Airbender

I found out about xkcd thanks to the wiki. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.I found out about Read or Die and Another by hitting the random button. Thanks, TV Tropes.
Flyer than an ostrich, moshin' in a tar pit...Oh, I don't even like to touch works that don't have a TV Tropes page for fear that they will be a waste of my time. Except books, not many of those have pages here anyway except for really mainstream, multi-book series and classics. So, many things. Most anime and games, really.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I know I've gotten a lot of right answers on Jeopardy! through bits and pieces I've seen on TV Tropes.
Series-wise, I don't think there's really been anything I've discovered and liked, since most of my work has been on stuff I already know that I like. However, I do know that I discovered TV Trash by doing a wick cleanup for Baby Blues.

Oh man. I watched Koi Kaze because I heard it was a realistic portrayal of the subject matter - I took that as meaning it would end in disaster, which is why I watched it. It didn't, and I was really weirded out. I eventually got around to Moral Orel thanks to this site, too - which I very much enjoyed.
Come sail your ships around me, and burn your bridges down.Just think, if I'd never come to TV Tropes I wouldn't know about Homestuck.
Stupid doomed timeline...- Paranoia Agent (which ended up being my favorite anime ever, thank you TV Tropes!)
- Gunner Krigg Court
- Grave Of The Fireflies
- Now And Then Here And There
- Hatoful Boyfriend
- xkcd
- Junji Ito and his various works
- Katawa Shoujo
- Oyasumi Pun Pun
- Puella Magi Madoka Magica
- The SCP Foundation (and by extension The Wanderers Library)
- Yotsuba&!
- Yume Nikki
