YMMV / VS OURPLE GUY

Go To

  • Continuity Lockout: People who haven't seen the good ending of Dayshift at Freddy's 3 likely won't have the foggiest idea of what's going on in "Miller", especially the Continuity Cavalcade at the beginning of the song.
  • Fanfic Fuel: Lore and Bite are notable for how many remixes they have that completely change the song to something else, either by having Markiplier (or another YouTuber like Jackscepticeye) rap against the cast of another game in the cast of Bite, having Matpat (or another theorist) face off against another random character, or something completely unrelated to the original theme of either song (like with Lore Misogynist Mix, a remix of Lore that completely moves away from the FNAF theme and instead has a transgender Boyfriend rapping against a misogynistic Sonic.exe).
  • Funny Moments: "Miller" is one of the most intense songs in the mod, but the game over screen for it is an anticlimactic splash image telling you that you really must suck, coupled with a cartoonish fog horn. Completely on-brand for the ever-shifting tone of Dayshift at Freddy's.
  • Moment of Awesome: In "Miller", nearing the end of the song, as almost all the party is wiped out by Henry's harsh words, Henry and Jack are left standing, Henry tells Jack that he's a cancer, the latter's response? Revive the whole goddamn party. This is only furthered in the V3 update, where hitting the last notes shows the entire party unleashing a No-Holds-Barred Beatdown on Henry.
  • Nightmare Fuel:
    • "Criminal", as with the source material. The song is first person, with notes on either side of William, which means that he's staring directly at the screen the entire song, and all of his poses are him putting on a different but equally terrifying Nightmare Face. The song itself is at least somewhat tame in comparison, however it does little to detract from the fact that William's vocals sound less like a person and more like something slamming and clawing at a wall.
    • "Performance" is a jaunty little song performed by Spring Bonnie in the mod's usual blocky, stylized pixel art. Failing it, however, gives you a darkened, painted image of Spring Bonnie having been left in storage with all the same gusto of a rotting corpse. Which they may or may not have inside them given what happens to Spring Bonnie.
    • The new version of "Followed" has become this, with Shadow Freddy/Sinnoh being portrayed less as a Living Shadow and more an Eldritch Abomination made of pure darkness. By the time Brooke is done putting up with the puppet versions of the four original animatronics, he's clearly scared for his life. Beating the song merely has Sinnoh catch up to him and trap them both within the arcade cabinet, but losing suggests something worse happens to Brooke as his sprite is shown briefly turning red before you are forced to try again. If you don't want to try again...
Sinnoh: Where are you running from?
