YMMV / Troll (1986)

• Alternative Character Interpretation: Torok saving Harry and Wendy from the demon/gargoyle thing. Was it because he can't allow Wendy to be harmed because her death would basically make the new faerie kingdom he was trying to create implode and she was the keystone for the whole thing, or has he grown to care for the girl?
• Best Known for the Fanservice: Julia Louis-Dreyfus as a nude, dancing and giggling wood nymph (don't get too excited; all you actually see is her face).
• Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: The "Summertime Blues" scene comes out of nowhere, has nothing to do with the plot, is over-the-top weird even for this weird movie, and is never mentioned again.
• Fridge Horror: No one notices that Wendy behaves differently. Given how Torok disguised as her behaves, this is a very, very bad sign...
• Hilarious in Hindsight: Pretty obvious when you have two people named like the Boy Who Lived...
• Just Here for Godzilla: As the only thing that stands out about the movie is... being very weird, it's likely it wouldn't be remembered at all today if not for a famously bad movie trying to pass itself off as a sequel to it and the name of the young hero, both of which continue to cause people to check out the film out of sheer curiosity.
• So Okay, It's Average: While Troll is generally not a well-regarded film, nor is it seen as outlandishly bad either. Even with the Harry Potter thing, it's likely the film would be completely overlooked today if it wasn't for a legendarily terrible movie being artificially branded as a sequel to it.
• Ugly Cute: Gallwin, the singing mushroom Eunice has. Mostly because his voice is similar to that of Gizmo's.
